I know it’s a soap but Karla Mosley is only 43. I guess if you squint she could have had the daughters when she 19-21-ish? LOL!!!! Good job with the outdoor scenes though. I’m sorta getting confused by all the guys because they all look a like with their facial hair. Can’t they were Hi, my name is stickers for the first 2 or 3 weeks? Just sayin….. The cliffhanger left me a little confused. Did said mother want her daughter to have the job of the young assistant who she ran off the road? If not, I’ve got nothing else. LOL!!!!

I will say this soap has the best lighting in daytime. It’s like so bright and airy. Do the other soaps not pay their electric bill or something? They are still introducing the players which is okay but I’ll be glad when the week is over so we can just move on. LOL!!! I’m so impatient. I think MJV has a clear vision of Dani and she is the defacto lead. I had forgotten about the clearing the desk scene which they showed a million times before so it was nice to see it in context. Also, a lot of the young guys are confusing me at the moment. The cop and the photographer are to different actors and I still can’t tell them apart. I need to see them in the same scene 🎬 to compare and contrast. The one thing I saw that was weird was the actress who played the administrative assistant or manager or whatever tongue was completely yellow. I don’t know what it was about and how no one in production didn’t notice it. If it happens again I’m tweeting MVJ. LOL!!!!

Good first episode. A lot of I’m your mother, father, grandfather, grandson stuff but I understand why. LOL!!! By Friday it will be all perfectly normal. The sets were bright and airy. I’m looking forward to see stuff that hasn’t been previewed. I think this will show a little of what we’ve seen but next week it will be entirely all new. Karla Mosley was really front and center today. You can tell that MJV had a POV of Danni and how she wanted to write it. Apparently, she wrote it with Karla in mind. At first, I thought the two young girls were her daughters but then it was the older one who was her daughter. I didn’t necessarily buy that casting but I’m sure it will be fine. I am curious if there is going to be some big murder or cliffhanger on Friday. Monday was a great setup so I’m curious what the Big Bang will be. Time will tell. Also, I guess BTG didn’t get the memo about music rights. LOL!!! They said, we have money to burn and we want a hit pop/r&b song and we want it now!!!! LOL!!!!! Congratulation’s to Beyond The Gates. Welcome to the (soap) neighborhood.

The weird thing I noticed soap wise was their fade to black. They didn’t really fade to black with a long dramatic pause & state fade out. It was more the screen goes black. I thought my tv was going out the first two times. LOL!!! Maybe, it’s just me who thinks that. I’m glad the first episode is in the can & they can get to business and show us stuff we haven’t seen yet. Overall, it looks very grande. It reminded me of Y&R (the Bell years) which like prime time when it first started in 1973.

I’m looking forward to see scenes I haven’t seen. Obviously, they can’t give everything away so this week should be fun. They have the budget and pretty sound cast with newbies thrown in. It all comes down to the writing which on the surface we know should be good but it’s different when it’s long term. We’ll get to see what works and what might need fine tuning or scrapped altogether. I remember when Capitol and Loving first aired. Their first episodes (Loving was a 2 hour special) aired in prime time. That’s about the only thing Beyond The Gates didn’t do which is perfectly fine. We know the general back story of the show but I’m curious what the first big cliffhanger on Friday will be?! You gotta have something big for the first time and have everyone sweating it out until Monday. LOL!!!! Well, it’s only 13 hours and 37 minutes until the first episode but who’s counting?! LOL!!! Have fun everyone and enjoy the show.

Back in the day Regis would show the front and back page of the New York Post and talk for 20 minutes about and the audience would be dying laughing. Kelly and Mark are always looking down to read what’s in front of them and it’s beyond painful. It’s downright embarrassing. Mark can at least put a sentence together but Kelly stammers, hems and haws like a stupid person who has never read before. That said, she’s making 20 million dollars and working 3 days a week doing this gig so who’s the dumb one?!

It seemed they were dressed to the nines in every scene. It seemed OTT even for rich people. LOL!!! I’m not rich so that’s maybe why I wear sweats. LOL!!!! It seems like the show is very woman heavy with a few men. It’s gonna take a few weeks for me to straighten them all out. The cast looks very happy. It was funny hearing Karla Mosley saying she didn’t want to move to Atlanta. She’s done NYC and Los Angeles for years. I wonder if most of the cast are renting to see how this shapes out?! The 3 young actresses who had the least experience seemed very excited and a little overwhelmed. I wonder who is going to be the ”it” person and leave after 3 years. LOL!!!!! Tyler Perry’s studios are also in Atlanta so someone is gonna be in one of his movies before we know it. I’m sure of it. Only, a few more days. Fun times ahead.

They seem to have a very talented and experienced cast. Two of the young actresses interviewed said they never acted before and this was their first job. I’ll be curious to see how they fare but it’s hardly anything new for daytime. Kelly Ripa, Laura Wright and Robin Wright had never acted before joining AMC, Loving and Santa Barbara. They turned out fine and became quite popular. They have 20 contract and 20 non contract currently. It will be interesting to see who gets major screen time and who doesn’t. I guess they have to see what the fan reaction is like to the characters on the screen. The production values are pretty incredible for the state of what daytime is currently in. It appears big money is being put into this. Of course, it all comes down to the writing. If ain’t on the page it ain’t on the stage. Next week should be fun.

Those are my eggs! I don’t care if they cost $20. Carly & Laura Wright were having a ball today with her props. And, people say there are budget issues in daytime. LOL!!!!!!

I will say for whatever the reasons are GH has more temp recast than any other soap……..EVER! You never see Y&R or B&B do it. It’s so weird.

I think Jon & Cady are bff’s with the creator and head writer MVJ. It doesn’t say if it’s short or long term or if it’s contract or non contract.

Steve Burton and his ex-wife texts to each other in court were made public. It doesn’t sound nice and it’s basically over their youngest child. Kind of sad on both ends.

Meanwhile, none of their kids are at one seen or heard. LOL!!! I guess they’re saving the kids for summer to work them to death. LOL!!!! I like RH & JJ working together. It’s beyond effortless for them. I was glad to see Laura visiting Lucky but I wish Lucky & Lulu would interact more. Speaking of Lulu I thought AH & DZ were great today. DZ is so good and looks with a touch of gray, scruff and crying his eyes out. He’s such a good actor. Unfortunately, he’ll soon be saddled with the dumb Brook Lynn and Gio storyline. He deserves so much better.

And, Mesure didn’t even get to take his clothes off. Opportunity missed. He was such a good casting find. He had unbelievable chemistry with Laura Wight too. I’m sure Chris McKenna will be fine but Mesure was pretty unique and with an Australian accent to boot. He seemed happy in the role and had by all intent and purposes gotten a handle on the daytime pace. I guess in long end he just didn’t think he could continue for whatever reason. I know he had done twitter and then deleted it because he didn’t like the toxic environment it brought. I’m sure he’ll turn up on Netflix or Amazon with some amazing show. Also, did I mention he never got to do a shirtless scene? I did?! Never mind. LOL!!!!!

You left out that black motorcycle jacket with his gut hanging out. Granted he looks great at 83 years old but…….he’s still 83 years old. Just sayin… Maybe, in the 90’s he could pull it off. He should be in his uniform of a suit and tie like Jack Abbott. I thinks it’s the law or something.

I hate when they write Tracy just being mean to be mean. She’s more clever than that. Jane Elliott was unbearable today (and, I’m a big Elliott fan) but sheech. Give it a rest. You either like or hate Sasha. If you hate fire her and move on. I was a little spoiled that Valentin was gonna come into the spa in the final seconds because he was in the opening credits. When I saw JPS in the opening I was like, Valentin is back already? How come I didn’t hear this?! Why didn’t they just leave him out as he has been for 2 years. Do I have to do everything?! LOL!!! I’m guess it’s a contractual thing but still. nuEmma wasn’t too bad today and it was nice she was actually interacting with Finola Hughes. She’s got a long way to go but baby steps. Well, it looks like they are finally getting around to the Gio storyline. Unfortunately, the viewers have known since Day 1 that this was going to happen. I wanted to see the Lucky & Liz follow up but we can’t have nice things.

Brad Bell should really sign Ted King to a contract. Which means he won’t. Why can’t we have pretty things?!

They sure spent some good money on Billy’s new set. Actually, I don’t even recall what it looked like before. I’m sooooo over him. He’s not even a fun screwup to root for. Can’t he go to Jabot in Paris?! I’m glad to see that Sharon is home and has taken a shower. Never mind she was sitting on her couch beforehand. I like CZP but I’m glad the Jordan storyline is done. If they have to bring her back let it be a few years. Now, we Ian Ward to deal with. I’m guessing he gets offed too but who knows. There was no Phyllis for a whole week. I’m kind of glad. I’m guessing she will jump down Sharon’s throat the minute she sees her. I don’t see any potential new storylines that will thrill me. I know they have a bloated cast as it is but they need a new stud and lady. I mean when is the last time Chance had sex? It seems like such a waste of a good body and hair. LOL!!!!

Danielle was very sloppy tonight. I think Danielle became a little unhinged and the pressure got to her. I know she thinks Carolyn is a mess but she should have hung on a little longer before dropping her name out. Carolyn would have been more than happy to ditch Rob but apparently Danielle didn’t know this. Next week’s turret and round table is going to be off the chain. Random but did anyone notice that they used the same shower clip of Sam Asghari from last week? It’s like they said, So we really have to waste more film on him again? LOL!!! That said, he’s miles ahead of Tom Sandoval? Did woman really find him attractive? He looks like he’s dumb as rocks and bugged eyed all the time.

Unfortunately, some that god awful artwork from the gallery will there too. I will give GH some points for bringing back Ric and hooking him up with Ava. I mean Maura West and Rick Hearst together is what dreams are made of. I’ve been watching him since GL and her since ATWT. Both those were my shows were my jam in the late 70’s until they went off the air. Nice to Molly Lansing-Davis again. Good lord do they have to have her saying that every time? We know who she is already. Kristina wasn’t totally horrible with her Barbie Head (1970’s) ponytail. She also had to be nice to everyone since it was her Grand Opening. Sidwell. The actor (Carlo Rota) is so suave. He can’t be long for Port Charles right? Pity. Because he’s a silver daddy stud. Of course, he’s met all of Port Charles and no one knew he was. At least, Jordan (and, now Laura) are on the job. Finally, Charles Masure (Brennan) has been on GH since 2023 and he hasn’t taken his shirt off or “accidentally” gotten caught with only a Metro Court towel. Does he have it in his contract that he won’t show skin? Do we have to pair him with Brook Lynn? Rant over.
