  1. Guess I'm in the minority here, but so be it. I'm not particularly fond of Whitney, but I certainly do not agree with Kerryn's approach in making Whitney see the light, so to speak. As someone who has struggled with weight issues my whole life, I cringe when I hear people saying things like, fat people "waddle," and that Whitney's exercising was the "running man." Why is that ok??? Because Whitney is in denial about her health, it's ok for a third rate "comic" to air her opinions about it? Did Whitney ask her for her thoughts about fat people? I don't remember that part, if she did. Why is it ok for Kerryn to tell Whitney to "go eat a donut" but it's not ok for Buddy to tell her to "go have a drink?" I thought Shaun Robinson handled the situation very well, and I cheered when Kerryn left the stage. I thought she made a fool of herself in her attempt to make jokes about being fat. Sorry, but I've never seen the humor in that, just as I don't think that Kerryn's struggles with alcohol should be fodder for jokes. If it's ok for Kerryn to question Whitney's health and happiness with who she is, can we question her sobriety? Of course, my response to Kerryn comes from years of hearing fat jokes and unsolicited remarks from people who thought they were either helping or being extremely witty.
  2. This show has become so boring. Even the drama around Matt and his "member" has played out. Briana is a fool (if all this is, in fact, true about Matt and his texts), the scene between Christy and her daughter during the sex talk was just creepy and Joe and Terra are rude and obnoxious. I may have to delete this show from my DVR schedule.
  3. I learned about the butt helper on Little Women: LA--Tara mentioned needing a "Butt Buddy" during her pregnancy. Ugh, I watch way too much reality TV!
  4. I can totally believe that stripper was 28 years old--about 15 years ago! And those twins, oh my. So their breasts weren't identical? Then quit looking at each other naked and keep your damn clothes on. Grown sisters wanting to look alike, undress together and sleep with the same man at the same time--creepy! I just think each one is a narcissist who used the other as her own private 24-hour-a-day mirror. Too bad that egg actually split in utero, because they seem like they would be perfectly happy conjoined. I loved the look on their faces when Dr. Dubrow told them that they are not perfectly identical--well worth the excruciating time it took to get to that point in the show. He has more patience for that idiocy than I ever would.
  5. I'm not surprised Kody is now an expert on Kosher eating--remember on one of their out of town visits to another plyg family, he butted into the dinner prayer because he knew all about Jewish prayers? (At least I think it was a Jewish prayer, I can't remember because frankly, Kody makes a very small, less than memorable impression on me). "Butt munch." lol I have never heard this phrase before so I looked it up in the dictionary and it said "see Kody Brown."
  6. http://radaronline.com/celebrity-news/kody-brown-sister-wives-5th-wife-catfishing-scandal-marry-robyn-nanny-step-niece/ Don't know how reliable this is or if anyone posted it yet but it's pretty interesting.
  7. Lindsay was not very likable last season but this season...wow! She is obnoxious AND unlikable. She is just tooooo much--too loud, too giggly, too sexual, too much drinking and too annoying. And I really think she had a boob job over the break. Katja and her wife also annoy the heck out of me with their constant use of the word "like." Like, can't they just, like, speak like, normally and not like, use like all the freakin' time? Geesh, they're not tween girls. Coco is the only one who actually seemed to improve since last season.
  8. One thing is for sure--if Mike stays with "Vile-ene," he'll have 2 children to take care of and Mikey will be the more mature of the 2.
  9. Yes, I caught that "oompas" comment, couldn't believe I heard correctly. That comment shows Matt's true character, which is grossly lacking. I guess he doesn't realize his own unborn child might be an "oompa." As for all of the hair extensions, what I found most distracting was their constant playing with their hair. It's as if they must caress it to make sure it's still there!
  10. Christy's whining made me want to throw a glass at her head (and I would have better aim than Terra)! And Jasmine--really, her eyelashes are longer than she is!
  11. I've always liked Zsalynn but she seemed angry to me in this episode. And yes, numbers on the scale are important--if she ignores them, there's a good chance she'll be back to her old weight again (and have Gareth wanting to marry her again!).
  12. ^^^lol--and I refuse to even give odds on Brianna's singing career!
  13. Why in the world would anyone be put off by Trent (or anyone else for that matter) referring to God in his statement? I know it's not very trendy these days to tell people you are a believer, but when people do, I appreciate it. It takes a lot of guts to stand up for your faith and your beliefs, especially in the entertainment industry where that is often scoffed at and ridiculed. And for the record, people turn to God for many reasons, not just when they are in a crisis.
  14. Just couldn't bring myself to watch that--being the only female in my core family, I always "feel" the male's pain! And yes, I agree that Bill and Jen add a little class to TLC--and no, that doesn't mean I think they are perfect, "saints" or should be able to rob banks and pillage without fear of reprisal.
  15. Me too! (Although I do watch the 600 pound people--yes, I'm hanging my head in shame...)
  16. lol--I totally agree with your description of Jasmine. I always laugh when I see her put that serious-therapist-expression on while she is having a heart-to-heart with her latest BFF. Then she stabs them in the back by telling the other "girls" what that one said. As far as the "party," I surprised myself by (for the first time ever) agreeing with Tonya when she said, "This is the most boringest bachelorette party ever!"
  17. My guide said tonight's episode was a repeat but it was actually a new episode--Lupe's Story--at least it was one I had not seen before.
  18. And I think they're lucky! Tomato, tomahto. If Bill, is in fact, a SAHD (and really, we have no idea if he is or isn't as we are not with them 7 days a week. Jen said last night that filming is usually done in the evenings and weekends), then Will and Zoey are very fortunate to have a parent at home. I know a few men who would poo-poo the idea of staying at home but most men are enlightened today and realize it is as valuable as having a job outside of the home. I wish I could have traded with my husband and let him be a SAHD while we were raising our family. As much as I enjoyed it, I think he had more patience and structure than I.
  19. What a great episode! Bill and Jen have such a strong relationship and a wonderful family. Will and Zoey are having the time of their lives--living and learning and experiencing so many new things. I somewhat hesitate to admit this, but I don't possess that enviable and mystical gift of knowing what Bill and Jen are thinking or feeling, but I can see a respectful and loving couple who are making a huge difference in the lives of their two children. Cuteness overload when Will said Zoey is "from India...and Earth." And when Zoey was asked what was her favorite dog and she said "horsey."
  20. Well, to be perfectly honest, almost every one of the contestants is "shilling" in one way or another. Over the years we've heard the plight of single moms, jilted lovers, diabetics, unemployed, dead or dying family members, father in prison, mommy-hated-me, etc, etc. Faith and a nod to the military seems less negative than any of the other forms of "shilling."
  21. Heaven forbid! (and now I'M rolling MY eyes)
  22. Not sure what is meant by this. I haven't seen any "Christian pandering." The only "pandering" I've seen is the judges drooling all over themselves for LaPorsha when she sings her runs that they normally put others down for doing.
  23. ^^^I noticed that too, when he was looking through the window at Zoey dancing. Pure pride. It was lovely.
  24. Yep, my money is on twins. I'm confused though, were they using IVF? Elena referred to the doctor only as her "Ob/Gyn" but the sign outside of the facility indicated it was a fertility clinic.
