  1. If the writers knew the team would be going up against the LoA, they shouldve at least given us that L/N sparring scene and added in some dialogue about Nyssa teaching Laurel how the LoA operated and what to expect.
  2. Didn't Barry like Iris before he moved in with him? It wasn't something that he developed while living with them.
  3. What is with this show and siblings sharing lovers?
  4. This was a team that brought in Roy who just had experience running around and getting in fights on the street. I thought it was perfectly in character for Felicity/Diggle to be weary at first of Laurel's wanting to be out on the front lines but seeing the determination/drive she had and supporting her against Oliver. Diggle wasn't sidelined because Black Canary came in, he was already getting sidelined when they made Roy into Olivers full time partner. Was it stupid to have Diggle be on the sideline during Olivers "death"? yes it was, they should've had Diggle out there with the both of them since Arsenal wasn't a great fighter either. And Laurel got like 3 episodes that were "dedicated" to her, she didn't take away anyones screen time or story. They used her just as quick as they put back on the sidelines.
  5. I pray that they keep Andy dead. THis show has done way to many fake deaths that it would just be beyond ridiculous at this point. Malcolm was "dead", Sara was "dead", Oliver was "dead", Slade was "dead", Roy is "dead". It is just used as such an out on this show that they need to stop it.
  6. None of Team Arrow should've been able to last long with the LoA, but they could've done that fight so much better! Have Laurel face them, get beat to a corner and use her Canary Cry to gain the advantage.
  7. This was a good episode to showcase her powers, her being able to outrun Flash was weird but I can only chalk that up to Barry not knowing how fast he can go and not pushing himself enough. And of course they had to bring up that stupid fern.
  8. I wish they would bring back Laurels friend from s1 that she worked with. Everyone is very limited to who they interact with so it's refreshing when we see them talking casually with other people.
  9. I thought she looked great performing the Canary cry but for it to be amped up 10x from Saras bombs, it sounded horrible and underperformed. Hope they fix it this season. It should be used as a surprise attack and to get out of tough situations. If the team is being defeated by the Ghosts, she should whip it out and should give them enough time to retreat.
  10. I'm not saying it is 100%, it's a generalization and as i said above, why it is hard to use reviews/online response to judge what people are thinking about a charecter. With so many sites out there of course no one can say 100% about anything.
  11. A lot of people on twitter are so black and white, it's tiring.
  12. I wish they would change things up, I'm not that interested in Felicity being the driving factor for yet another up and coming hero. It's just as old as Cisco naming all the heroes/villains and making the weaponry. Hopefully they prove me wrong though.
  13. That is why we can't really take social media/review sites to gage how charecters impact the show. (I would quote but on my phone so to much to delete) The CW would be doing better if DVR was recognized more and now tweets are suppose to add to ratings.
  14. Shows work better that way. Oliver will always be THE main character and get the most screen time but the show flourishes by being able to focus on others and have them add to the show. 23 episodes is a lot story to tell. Look at Buffy/Angel, their names are the title of the show but their cast was just as important as they were. Buffy wasn't even the hero of s6 finale, it was Xander. All of them got storylines and development just as much as Buffy/Angel did and it didn't harm the show.
  15. Except social media sites/reviews make up a very small percentage of viewers. It's like movie reviews, they can be really bad for movies but the movie in question can still make bank. Half the audience hated Olicity in S3 and half the audience hated Black Canary in S3 but the season was still one of the higher rated in terms of ratings.
  16. It's amazing to think that MGs wife is an EP on Agent Carter. They couldn't be anymore different in how they run their shows and characters.
  17. I hope they give Laurel a more defined fighting technique since that will help and they can switch it up and add to it each season/mid season since Laurel should constantly be wanting to improve herself. Before S3 was done, I was hoping they would've had her leave Starling for the summer hiatus and have her do some hardcore training with Nyssa which would lead to Richard Dragon and Lady Shiva. Hopefully whenever she hits the Salmon ladder, it will be a big episode for her that will include her and Oliver finally training together for the first time and her surprising him with her progress.
  18. Look at all the actors who played Batman and Superman in the past, they were in shape but they weren't as extreme as heroes are now. Even Routh wasn't as ripped as Cavill is when he played Superman and it didn't take anything away from them. But I am fine with how they all look since I don't mind it.
  19. That's the phase that Hollywood is in right now. If this would've been in the 90s, it would be a totally different ball game since big arms/major six packs weren't needed to be an action star or play a superhero.
  20. Numbers usually drop anyway after the season opener so that didn't surprise me. 2.8 people didn't tune in knowing that she was even going to be in the episode. Not to mention the ratings up went after 3x02 so even if people did tune out, they didn't tune out for very long.
  21. I think they just realized that the ATOM couldn't really sustain a series by himself and CW wanted something different so they decided to switch it to a team up show where they can constantly have a revolving cast and keep introducing/exploring new characters along with older ones. I think with the right writing it would be great (really sad though) if Sara had been taken out of the time stream right before her death and was willing to live with the fact that she knows she has to go back to that moment in time and still die. It could've produced some highly emotional material between her and her family. Time travel is tricky so it wouldn't really mess up anything in S3 since this whole team traveling through time won't be messing with history or Flash traveling to the past didn't really create any butterfly effects. Well he did say we are suppose to get plenty of shirtless Oliver this season, especially since they worked training into his overall schedule. I wonder if we will get to see Laurel tackling the Salmon ladder the first half of the season or if they wait to do it during the 2nd half if they don't forget.
  22. Since Arrow opened up 3x01 with higher numbers vs. 2x23, I don't think anyone really thought about quitting the show or anything because of Sara's death.
  23. The ratings went from 3x01 - 2.8 to 3x02 - 2.3, which isn't bad given premieres and finales are usually higher. They didn't think "we screwed up by killing off Sara so...lets make the ATOM show into a team up show" They are working both shows to lead up to LoT. She needs more then 1 episode to be brought back and make sense of it all. Thats why they are introducing all the LoT characters in Arrow/Flash instead and of course Sara would be getting more mentioned then Atom since she's been dead for a year and has a bigger tie to Arrow.
  24. They needed a well known female on the show so it is logical to bring Sara back and use her. It wasn't going to be Laurel or Thea and Flash hadn't introduced any female heroes to use.
