  1. So much to say, but I'll start with this: "Bullimia is a very serious condition, but not one Janine is even close to having." DEAD. I AM DEAD. DR. NOW MUST PAY FOR MY FUNERAL, STAT.
  2. I should feel bad about continuing to berate Tony...but I don't. Did I seriously hear Mykelti (yeah yeah, spellcheck, I know) giggling about how Tony would totally tell her ON THEIR WEDDING DAY that he didn't like her dress? Surely I misheard. RIGHT? What kind of unrepentant pig would do that to a bride on her wedding day? (I know, I know, low-hanging fruit) My husband - a quiet, soft-spoken engineer who rarely expresses emotion in public - still reminds me, every time we talk about our wedding (nine years ago), that I was the most beautiful woman in the world (I wasn't). And I am 100% positive that he would've felt that way regardless of the dress I picked. Why? Because he isn't a raging narcissist more concerned with seeming "edgy" and "pushing buttons" than with other people's feelings.
  3. The constant dithering is why I wonder if, by that point, Meri REALLY wanted another baby, of if she just wanted attention from Kody so the topic stayed unresolved.
  4. Is she...pretending to be a tiger or something? Um, having a seizure?
  5. Ha ha, fleeing bill collectors. That was freaking gold. And someone embroider the comment about how you don't always do what you want and send it to Kody, please. Whiny McManchild needs that lesson, stat.
  6. But didn't Kody offer (or at least discuss the option of) having another baby with Meri via IVF, and she said no? I believe that she was devastated by secondary infertility when she was younger, but I'm not convinced 40-something Meri REALLY wanted another baby.
  7. Ooh, this is a really good point! Meri is already away from home a good portion of the time. She's already away from "the family." What difference would another business make?
  8. I was all set to type something snappy and witty, but I just feel sad.
  9. This made my skin crawl. And him telling her that she drove him to hit her! No. No no no no. I started this episode rooting for both of them, but halfway through I wanted Rena to push Lee and his scooter onto the highway, and I sure as hell wasn't buying Lee's so-called turnaround by the end of the episode, carnations or no. Hearing that Lee is all Rena has scares the crap out of me. There is no way she'll leave him when he's "it" for her. So damn sad.
  10. Oh, boy! Two entitled (very young) quasi-adults who they're entitled to whatever ridiculousness their little hearts desire without any work on their parts! How will I contain my excitement while watching these two dynamos? It's a mystery all right.
  11. I had the same thought pinballing through my head during this episode, and I feel compelled to share it here. When Meri was sharing her particularly poorly thought out B&B idea, all the wives, save maybe Janelle, were lamenting how often she'd be away from home, with Kody chiming in. Um, so? What difference does it make if she's there or not? They admit openly that they live almost entirely separate lives, with Meri and Janelle barely able to exist in one another's presence. They're rarely using each other for child care, they don't gather as an entire "family" very often, and they had no idea (NONE) that Meri was being catfished for months on end, because they barely ever saw her or interacted with her. So if her absence does remove her from the family, such as it is, why are we supposed to believe it'd make any difference in anything?
  12. I don't get the impression that M&T were even the slightest bit interested in "trying to keep costs down." They seemed hell-bent on planning on doing whatever they wanted and waiting for someone else to pay for it.
  13. I had the same thought, only with lots of expletives. A girl? A GIRL? As if there is any female currently walking terra firma who would ever -- EVER -- want to get anywhere near Steven.
  14. Does anyone else wonder if Todd actually likes Whitney? 'Cause it seems like he can't stand her.
  15. Please tell me that I'm not the only one who, when Justin was lamenting that he "didn't want to end up like Steven," was tempted to yell at the TV, "you already are!" I find myself bereft of snark right now. These three "men" are a festering boil on the ass of humanity. Steven Sr. is criminally passive aggressive and a terrible enabler, Justin has the emotional reactions of a particularly surly teenage boy, and Steven Jr. is a whole mess o' dysfunction. Damn, I got nothin.'
  16. Re: the suit pic, there's ANOTHER comment about how she looks thinner, and then the commentator wants advice about getting motivated to lose weight. WHITNEY DOESN'T WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT, REMEMBER?
  17. That was so well said. I just get serious whiplash reading her SM. "You look like you've gained weight." "It doesn't matter if she's fat! She looks beautiful!" "Besides, she's lost a ton of weight!" "Whitney, you look so thin!" Wait...what? Does it matter or doesn't it? Is it "okay" that she's fat or isn't it? I'm so confused.
  18. I don't get the near-constant "you look like you've so much weight!" slavering from her fans. I thought Whitney herself said that she had no interest in losing weight. If that's the case, why keep throwing that out as a compliment? It doesn't matter if she looks thinner; she doesn't want to be thinner.
  19. Do James's friends go out of their way to pick the least flattering pictures for these fundraisers? Geez, first a close-up of his cellulitis-covered legs and a protruding catheter, now a lovely shot of his bloody neck complete with IV?
  20. I have a question about streaming episodes; I hope it's okay for me to post it in here. I'm new to the Bachelor-verse, and I've been watching past seasons. I see that seasons 13+ of The Bachelor are available on Amazon, and seasons 6+ of The Bachelorette. Anyone know how I can watch the earlier seasons?
