💯💯💯💯 I’ll admit I’ve been a fan of some of the dancers who would have possibly been considered ringers (like Alfonso) but the more I learn about Charli’s experience, the worse her case gets. I just learned about that here and it makes some of Derek’s “OMG look at how amazing you are” reactions even more eye roll-worthy. You know how skilled she is otherwise you wouldn’t have picked her to dance with you.
-
💯💯 As soon as I heard her casting and how many followers she has, my automatic assumption was she would win. But thinking about it further, it’s not guaranteed for many of the reasons you mentioned. Charli is not the first person who has a massive following on SM who didn’t win. I think her popularity has grown (inexplicably to me) since she was on the show, but Kim Kardashian was still massively popular online when she was on, but she still didn’t make it far. Derek was paired with some YouTube influencer with a huge following and they finished fourth (and that’s with her fan base and Derek’s combined.) As you pointed out, JoJo not only didn’t win last year, but at one point was in the bottom two. And yet, she won the People’s Choice award that year. Her fans got her that, but not the win on the show. If Charli’s fanbase votes consistently, yeah, it will probably be a blow out for her, but that’s still an unanswered question - if they are voting for her. They certainly didn’t seem to be voting for her mom. Well, of course she doesn’t need to do the other stuff (not that there’s anything wrong with some of that stuff) but she’s a trained dancer. So, yeah, she can do things the others can’t because they don’t have the training she does.

Yes! I get that he doesn’t want to be a hypocrite, but this is one of those occasions where that’s okay. Especially since one of the big things you should do to earn someone’s forgiveness is be remorseful and apologize. Xander is not sorry for any of the things he did to Eric or anyone not named Sarah or Maggie. Even Sarah admitted this when she apologized for Xander sleeping with Nicole because she knew Xander never would.

All of this! Plus, there has to basically be cannon fodder for those first few weeks and some variety in casting to appeal to as wide a demo as possible. I highly doubt they're casting older celebs like Bo Derek or the Martin Kove types because they think they're going to win the whole shebang. Does it really matter if Charli would have gotten dragged for it versus when someone else does it? She would have gotten dragged probably by people who just plain old don't like her. Plus, arrogance - like many things - is in the eye of the beholder. Sometimes it's based on how the person says it, context, etc. There were a couple of things Vinnie and Gabby said that I thought were a bit arrogant. But, for me, that line from Wayne was't arrogant partly because of who he is and how he's been the whole season. I loved what he had to say when Alfonso asked him after the relay if he thought his great samba earlier this season gave him a leg-up over Heidi and without hesitation he said no. To me, that's not someone overly arrogant. I don't think he expects people to be grateful he's on the show or feels like he's slumming. That's a lot to take a way from one comment. It doesn't necessarily mean she wasn't good enough. She's still pretty young. Maybe being a professional ballroom dancer wasn't what she wanted. And, if she's making 20 million in other ways, maybe she wants to continue doing what she's doing instead. Bottom line, for me, is while she might not have chosen dancing as her vocation (yet) she's still a professionally trained ballroom dancer and it feels a little unfair for her to not only compete against many without that background, but for her performances to be compared to theirs because of course she's always going to come out on top. Agreed. Like I said before, there's a line between overconfidence and confidence. I think it's just fine to know that you're good at what you do and be proud of that. This is how it's ALWAYS been. A lot of times it does piss me off. I'm STILL mad about that one season ages ago where they did this special bonus dance to give 15 points to this actress Chelsea something and Ralph Macchio got the boot because of it. I'm still mad about them picking Ally Brooke over Vanderbeek, but, yeah, this is how it's always been. They just have a little more power now because of the judges' save. I don't always like the decisions they make, but overall, I never want to see a Bobby Bones situation again, so I consider the judges' save a necessary evil. I don't watch the show for surprise winners and shocking eliminations, especially when I'm rooting for someone and they're the shocking elimination. I think a lot of people might not have continued to do this show if they had to face the humiliation of losing to a Bobby Bones. Celebrities will continue to do the show because of the free publicity they still get by doing it. Isn't it possible he took the blame because that's just what pros do since they tend to not get penalized for pro screw-ups since it's the celeb who is supposed to be judged? That and/or he wanted to save her from embarrassment or thought she wouldn't take it well.

Cry me a river with "poor" Leo being sad he has no male gay friends or real friends besides Gwen. I know he - and the show - think he's a laugh riot, but he's not. I could maybe buy that "I use humor as a defense mechanism" crud if we ever saw him not cracking jokes about this, that, or the other. For an Emmy-winning actor GR seems to really only have two expressions - smug and that stank face (rearing back with an ugly sneer) whenever anyone dares to call him on how horribly he's treated them. For him to have the audacity to complain about Sonny "of all people" not believing in his sincerity...🙄 I know RC seems to think his audience suffers from as many bouts of amnesia as his characters do, but I for one remember a few short months ago when Leo MOLESTED Sonny. I wish I was exaggerating. He drugged him, stripped him, posed him, then took pictures with him. And when Sonny confronted him about it, Leo thought it was just hilarious to joke about how he may or may not have raped him. Guess that's just poor Leo's defense mechanism.

I can't even tell you how many times during every episode I'm yelling "shut up" at my screen. Even when she seems like she's trying to be supportive or fun, it just comes off as so unnatural and "me, me, me." Maybe it was just because they were pressed for time this week (I hope not) but I was so, so glad that when they announced the hosts they didn't announce Tyra first and have Alfonse have to wait for a minute as if he was some also-ran and Tyra was the star of the show. And I have no idea who was responsible for how chaotic the relay stuff was. Not sure if it's fair to blame Tyra for that particular awkwardness. It felt weird that they had Shangela and Daniel get their results and THEN do the interview. Then when Carrie-Ann was like "Aren't they going to go away" before giving Trevor and Vinnie her verdict, that was funny, but weird. I was wondering did they not rehearse that at all? I grew up during the 90's so it was fun in that respect, but also, seeing some of those performer made me feel old or kind of cringing at how much work they had done. I love Daniel and I think he really is inspiring and doing a lot of good, but something about his whole presentation last night put me off. Like, I feel for him and what he went through with his birth mother, but I didn't get why they were talking about it last night. It didn't feel like it had any connection to the dance and almost like they wanted a sob story to get more votes. And, even though they never said this was a first for the show, the reaction to him dancing without music made it seem like that was the case, even though it wasn't. Nyle DiMarco also did a dance where he danced a portion of it without music. I just happened to watch that dance this week and I thought the transition to no music worked better in that dance, than in this one. I did think the dance overall was well done and I was happy for him he finally got some 10s. I also found Derek's emotional reaction genuine - probably helps that this was a first for him since he wasn't involved in Nyle's season and he doesn't cry at the drop of a hat like Carrie-Ann does. I was so glad to see Heidi get automatically eliminated. Just like her daughter, I have never connected with her. I felt a little bad for her when she was talking about looking at responses online, but I still thought the dance was a hot mess. Obviously, because of the judges' critiques, she was bound and determined to be "emotional" but, for me, it just didn't work especially because of the song. No matter how slowed down the music is "Ironic" just didn't work for this dance. It was like she was thinking the whole time "You wanted emotion, I'll give you emotion" but it wasn't coming from a genuine place and didn't match the song. I am beyond over the Charli tongue baths. Every time one of the judges acts so SHOCKED or says they've never seen anyone else do that on the show before it's like "Yeah, she's a trained dancer" what do you expect? And, while I think Mark can have some great choreography, I don't think he's all that and just was genuinely not into the dance this week or last week - and Argentine Tango is pretty much my favorite dance on this show.

I think there's a fine line between confidence and overconfidence and, for me, that comment didn't cross the line into overconfident or arrogant. I don't think he's this season Ally Brooke at all. Yes, he's been saved three times now, but it's not like he's been saved over people who were leagues better than him. I think, especially these last two times, it was less about saving Trevor and getting rid of the person he was up against. I absolutely agree the relay was about getting rid of Vinny. I think these last two weeks have been mostly about doing whatever possible to get rid of him. I think at times if the audience is voting for someone not that great, but their popularity is high enough, the judges will just start giving them higher scores anyway, even if they don't deserve it IMO. But, I think there are those times, like with Bobby Bones - and now Vinnie - where they will just keep going lower and lower hoping that will do the trick. It's not usual to be heading into the semifinals and see people getting 7s. I think if Trevor had been up against anyone other than Vinnie this week, they would have eliminated him. The scores they gave Trevor for his first dance are not the scores they give someone they are desperate to save. I love Wayne, so I hate to agree, but yeah, I did think he was slightly overscored. It did feel somewhat low energy. And, I think someone else pointed this out, but his expressions felt too serious for this particular dance. Though I will say on a rewatch my response to the dance was a lot better. I will say Wayne being overscored didn't annoy me as much as Gabby because it wasn't accompanied with such over-the-top praise. 'The best samba in the history of the show?' It wasn't even the best samba this season. I think the judges just need to stop, period, calling anything the best ever in the history of the show. It always seems forced to me. And, my God, calm down with how supposedly sexy that dance was. I thought them taking their shirts off before the scores was a funny moment, but overall, the reaction was just embarrassing.

Sarah kidnapped a child because she had been raising that child as her own and was reeling from the news her actual child was dead. Plus one of that child’s parents is a sociopath like Kristen. Rachel would have been better off if she was never returned to that situation. But, she didn’t kidnap her because she was bored. She’s not Xander who keeps kidnapping people and threatening to kill people all because he wants money. I think the show is trying to make him good for her. If not, they wouldn’t have bothered to have Sarah almost break up with him when she found out just one of the low things he did when she was away. And they wouldn’t have had him promise her that he left his life of crime behind. With this spoiler that Xander confesses to Gwen, I think they might be trying to highlight the different dynamics between Xander/Sarah and Xander/Gwen. Gwen will accept him for the cretinous lowlife criminal he is while Sarah wants him to be better.

Good for her! As a survivor, I think she can see the truth. “He’s old.” Sounds pretty ageist to me. Maybe all older actors you personally don’t like should be put out to pasture. There’s a simple solution for those with the opinion that he’s no good and hasn’t produced anything you like. Don’t watch his movies or listen to his music. I love his movies, but have no interest in his music, so I don’t listen to it. It’s not really up to you to decide someone shouldn’t have a career at all because you don’t like them. Unlike some people, the people who want to work with him know him, like him, and/or think he’s talented. Maybe that’s why they want to “bring him back.” They realize he hasn’t been convicted of anything and has every right to work. That and he has millions of fans who do like him. To me all it says is this one person had a bad experience. Just because she says they were assholes doesn’t mean they were or that they’re assholes in general. Since she gives no details, you can basically choose to interpret it however you’re inclined to.

I know a lot of people had that theory, but I mostly don't agree. Yes, his need for revenge against Leo was over the top, but that does seem partly because of how over the top ZK's Sonny seems to respond to everything. Sonny said over and over again it was about saving Craig from getting duped/hurt like he did and once they succeeded in breaking Leo and Craig up (and after Leo's disgusting drugging date rapey revenge against him) Sonny didn't seem that hung up on thoughts of Leo. I think if he was still so attracted to him, he would have found more excuses to be involved in his life, but he didn't.
-
And, I feel the exact opposite. As much as I think ZT has been an okay recast (a little too 90s era Jim Carrey level mugging for my taste at times) if his leaving spares me from a Sonny/Leo romance - hit the bricks, kid.
-
They never whitewashed his actions with Kayla. He’s apologized for that repeatedly. Even last week he was expressing remorse for it even though he and Kayla have long since worked past it. At one point, he was willing to literally lay down his life to save Kayla’s to make up for it. It’s not like he and Kayla became good immediately. One of the reasons she was willing to believe he raped Allie was because of what he did to her. I don’t remember him trying to throw her out, though you seem to indicate this was a group effort and not just him. Plus, at one point Claire was nuttier than a fruitcake and doing pretty out there things. I don’t remember him ever having a misogynistic attitude toward her. I can’t even remember ultimately why he and Ciara broke up. I think when she ran out before meeting Ben it was based on some misunderstanding with Tripp. He did nothing wrong in the Allie relationship to get cheated on, so no, I don’t agree he needs to look within to figure out why that didn’t work. Tripp was the mature one in that relationship who ultimately ended it because he wasn’t willing to be with Allie if she didn’t love only him.

S31.E05: Most Memorable Year Night
FilmTVGeek80 replied to CheshireCat's topic in Dancing With The Stars
I don’t hate Charli, but I’m definitely not enjoying her at all. I know they’ve had ringers on before, but for some reason she annoys me even more than some of the others. Which is a little odd because they’re not trying to hide how much she’s a ringer. They’ve admitted she has had considerable training - and not just training, but training in ballroom. Still, it bothers me when they give her back-to-back dances she’s specifically trained in - that Charli boasts are in her wheelhouse - and then the judges fall all over themselves with praise and act shocked - shocked I tell you - that she looks like a professional. Well, duh, she basically is a professional. It’s even harder to swallow when simultaneously you have Carrie-Ann telling someone like Vinnie that he is who this show is about; someone with no training learning as they go. -
It’s Kristen. She wouldn’t know what to do with herself if she wasn’t being arrogant, smug, and vile. 100%. I know it’s a rare sight on Salem, but I thought she was acting like a grown-up. It wasn’t just affecting his career, but he told Jada his being fired was making him question whether he was any good anymore. If my boyfriend was doubting his abilities like that, I’d tell them the truth as well. Once she did that, it made sense to give Rafe a heads up. The one acting shady and like a moron is Nicole. And, I’m actually rooting for Nicole and Eric, but she’s acting completely stupid right now. She’s been in situations like this enough that she should know ignoring her feelings is not just going to make them go away. I don’t even think this is going to be a full-fledged triangle or square. I don’t know if LA or the actor playing Joey are even sticking around long-term and the way she and Johnny were introduced makes it seem like that’s where the main story will be. The scenes with Tripp, Joey, and Wendy were fun but, yeah, Tripp’s been on the losing end way too many times for this to be fun.

It’s a big assumption to assume everyone hates the Carly/Drew pairing. Michael didn’t do anything to Lucas. That was the patron saint of throat slashers, Nelle, and his hubby Brad. I think Cam has great chemistry with most of his scene partners, especially his fellow Quartermaine’s and friends. Given that it is SONNY who rarely loses, I’m guessing Sonny will magnanimously forgive Michael when they discover Willow’s cancer. Sonny will probably be the one to discover Carly’s lie and Michael will just switch to hating Carly instead of Sonny. Sonny ISN’T a villain? Seriously. I get that Sonny has been marginally better since coming back from NF but he’s still a lifelong mobster and serial murderer (I don’t care if Jason was the one who physically committed the murders. It was under Sonny’s orders.) The show might expect me to believe Sonny clutching his pearls all aghast because the torturer he hired was going too far with Sonny’s sanctioned torture, but I wasn’t buying it. I think Dex was starting to drink the kool-aid about Sonny but being kidnapped and tortured by Sonny makes it a little harder. Michael didn’t make Sonny kidnap Dex that was Sonny’s brainchild. The only thing I don’t like about Joss and Michael’s hatred of Sonny is eventually they’ll “see the light” and be singing his praises again because Sonny is not going to lose or be portrayed as the villain he is.
-
Thank you!!! I don’t care how much you hate Willow, but to pretend like she stole Wiley is ridiculous. Especially coming from people who didn’t care a single bit that Nelle basically stole Wiley away from Michael by giving him to Brad. Willow entered into the marriage of convenience because she believed - with VERY good reason - that Nelle was a sociopath and had no business having custody of a house plant, let alone a child. She did not enter the marriage with the idea of becoming Wylie’s legal mother because Nelle losing custody wouldn’t have automatically have rescinded her maternal rights. She adopted Wylie after Nelle died. You know the Nelle who died fleeing after SLASHING a woman’s throat. It doesn’t matter what Sonny did, or did not, want to know. Nina knew who he was and choose to keep that to herself for selfish reasons. This includes going back to PC and saying not a word. She lied. And, yes, Carly was a horrible banshee and I don’t necessarily blame Nina in that moment for not saying anything to Carly, but that doesn’t excuse her from not trying again, or not telling someone else. There were plenty of other people Nina could have told. And, no, the show didn’t forget about Sonny not wanting to know. He admitted it at the custody trial.

Given that Clyde's a child molester, I don't even care that he doesn't have a real motive to kill Abigail. I have no idea if they're just pulling this out of their butts, which would be parr for the course, but it would be nice if this was their plan all along. It would be sort of clever that the first person that was suspected/arrested did it after all - even with an "airtight" alibi. I know I've watched L&O/L&O SVU, etc. episodes where the person who allegedly had an airtight alibi did end up being the killer after all. I think Rafe said there was video footage of Clyde fishing or something. Maybe the footage was edited or the timestamp changed. It also feels like Clyde is rushing this wedding to Nancy. I wonder if it's for a nefarious reason. Or maybe he does actually care about her and framing Leo was his sick attempt to kill two birds (get revenge for Nancy and get a patsy to take the fall for his crime.) Ugh, I hate that Jennifer got to finally drop the sweet, patient attitude with Gwen and give her what she deserves when Jennifer is the one hiding something. Gwen deserved everything she said, but it's going to be blown off as it being because Jen was under the influence and was just being unduly mean. Plus, you just know Gwen will tell Jack and when Jen does eventually get better she'll have to apologize and express gratitude to that witch.
-
I don't think it's going to be Li as Abby's killer. Chad finds out, and presumably so do EJ and possibly Belle. In the previews for Days on Peacock we see the start of Li and Gabi's wedding which doesn't seem to be happening this week or next. Unless Li somehow gets out of going to prison for murdering Abby (which on the show I guess is plausible) I don't see how it could be him. Xander and Gwen already deserve each other. Gwen sucks, but he's done way more horrible stuff than her. He has no room to judge her. He's not a good person, so I can easily see him forgiving Gwen, especially if he thinks he and Sarah have no hope of a future. He just pretends to be a slightly more decent person. The only reason he does is because she'll dump him if he's not.
-
I also love, loved, loved Sarah's line about her not being Xander's conscience. It's one of the things I take issue with when people talk about Xander reforming because he hasn't really. Yeah, he loves Sarah and Maggie, and will be on his best behavior for them, but it's not organic. Deep down - not even that deep - he's still the same scuzzbucket. He just tamps down on those impulses because he knows he needs to to keep Sarah. That's why I kind of laughed when during her vows Sarah claimed she knew the real Xander. And, it is funny, because a little while ago, I wondered how the show would have Sarah forgive Xander if she ever found out he attempted to kill Sami and Lucas while she was gone. I think her reaction today would have made a little more sense if that had been what Xander confessed. But, it would probably be harder for her to eventually cave and forgive that. As someone who hates the pairing, I'd love to believe Sarah's eyes are open, but I doubt this breakup will last. Though it might be interesting if it does last a little longer than I suspect and Xander ends up caught between Sarah - someone who wants, and expects him to be better - and Gwen (who might be morally bankrupt but it makes her his perfect match) who doesn't want him to change. Another line I loved was her telling Xander he has no room to judge Eric. Despite being one of the shadiest characters, Xander is shockingly judgmental of people he definitely has no business looking down on. I thought the scene between Eric, Nicole, and Sarah was a bit awkward. It was weird it felt like there was no real acknowledgment of the three characters own complicated history and I thought Sarah should probably have made herself scarce when Eric and Nicole basically had a therapy session right in front of her. My God, doesn't Orpheus ever get tired of being a 10th rate Bond villain? As he droned on and on and on and on all I could of was what a narcissist he is and how much he clearly likes the sound of his own voice. I generally like Kate & Roman together and I get that she's sick, but I thought it was out of character for Kate to be sitting there all "Oh, Roman, my big strong man, you'll save me." She's not usually that passive.
-
Drew and Carly might not have been dancing around each other for as long as BL and Chase, but it has been months. I think BL knows Drew is not the type who just wants to get laid, especially with someone he considers a friend. Plus, she and Chase just got together. She’s high on new love and wants that same happiness for her cousin. I’m not sure why that would be the assumption. CMat is a bigger name than SBu, plus he was hired before SBu was fired so obviously the show was fine with the idea of having Drew and Jason on the canvas together. Maybe Drew would end up “losing” Carly, but ultimately no big loss.

Why did the show have Brady ask Chloe about what it was like to go through a custody battle? He’s been in one himself. That’s the whole reason he doesn’t have custody of Tate. That would have also made me more sense for why he’d be afraid to lose to Kristen, since he’s lost one of these before. Why are characters like EJ and Tony - characters who have come back from the “dead” themselves - acting like Ava thinking she saw a dead Jake so out of the realm of possibility? As Johnny said, this is a town with a literal Devil problem, and they’re acting like a little old situation of someone coming back from the dead is something out of science fiction. Put your clothes on, Alex. Yeah, I know he didn’t appear today but I’m getting prepared for the next appearance of that dumbass. On that note - Shut Up, Leo. -
How is that self-centered? It was pretty obvious the only reason Trina wanted to go to the gallery was to tell Ava her good news. So, should Joss have let her go there given she knows full well Ava isn’t there and knowing Trina would want to know what happened to her friend? I do agree about Spencer. While everyone is hating Nik, I think Spencer is pretty contemptible and didn’t feel a damn bit sorry for him when he found out about Nik and Esme. It is ridiculous he still hasn’t let go of what happened when Ava testified for Valentin. He acts like Ava has been plotting against him his whole life, but aside from that one thing she hasn’t. He expects everyone to just get over him stalking Ava and yet can’t let that go. Probably because Drew is her family and she realizes that, contrary to popular opinion here, Drew is a good man. She wants him to be happy, and inexplicably, she likes Carly. Her whole point was that she and Chase danced around each other forever and she’s advising Drew not to waste the same amount of time. As someone who really likes Ava, I actually thought the treatment of her injury was pretty well done and shows how far the character- and more importantly the writing for her - has come. Yeah, I could have done without Joss constantly mentioning her dislike of Ava, but Sonny and Carly weren’t dancing a jig about her getting attacked. They actually acknowledged that Ava was Avery’s mother (even if they did have to shoehorn that nauseating tongue bath from Trina to Carly) and that she was told on-screen about Ava and was appropriately sad (and I don’t care how much of a jerk Nik is being right now, I love that she calls him daddy Nikolas. I love how much it annoyed Sonny.) Ava’s friends Trina and Nina were worried and wanted to see her right away. It was much better than it could have been or would have been years ago. I loved BM’s Drew and still love Drew now. Don’t think he’s been sullied at all. Other than his relationship with Carly, I’m not sure what he’s done that’s sullied a character who - while I loved him - was paper thin anyway. I’d love a better romantic partner for him, but if it’s going to keep Sonny and Carly apart for the time being, I can deal with it.
-
I notice that in all the info Sarah found out about concerning Xander while she was away, she hasn't found out that "reformed" Xander attempted to kill her cousin Lucas and Sami. Not surprisingly, Xander hasn't offered up that information and the show probably won't have Sarah find out so they don't have to deal with how it makes her look to just gloss over that and forgive Xander yet again. To me, I don't really care that Xander cares about Maggie and Sarah, it still doesn't mean he wouldn't hesitate to hurt anyone else if it meant he stood to gain something from it, which is one of the reasons his judgment of Gwen and Kristen is laughable.

I agree in general, about Rafe being an idiot, but I think it makes sense not to automatically just to take Xander - the notorious liar and criminal, and not to mention fiancé, of one of the suspects - at his word, especially when he comes in there yelling at people and acting like Jada has some personal vendetta against Sarah when she's just doing her job. I don't think either Rafe or Jada said that Lucas' hypnosis memory was foolproof. In fact, it was Xander who said that Lucas might have been faking and Jada was the one who pointed out that if Lucas's recovered memory was a lie so could Sarah's. The only smart thing Xander said was pointing out that they didn't just have to rely on Sarah's word, but Rex's as well. But since neither Jada or Rafe have heard from Rex they can't just say "ok, Sarah's not a suspect anymore" based on Xander's hotheaded demands. Also, Xander can take several seats with some of his attitude the last couple of episodes. 'I can't believe I almost married someone so twisted.' Oh, fuck off Xander. Gwen sucks hardcore but Xander is also a twisted criminal so him talking about how sick anyone else is is laughable to me. -
God forbid a family member be excited about their family member's joyous news. He has a life, it's just not the one many wanted for that character. I think Michael and Willow, who love Drew and consider him family, were just fine with his opinion. I don't care if it was hypocritical or not, I loved Joss calling Sonny out on his crap excuses. She's right, Donna and Avery would get along just fine without him. He's barely a parent now. And him trying to guilt trip her over his actions was ludicrous. I loathed him barging into the house and then demanding Carly get her daughter under control. Aw, poor Sonny people are calling you out for your crimes (again don't really care about the hypocrisy) and he just can't handle it. I love that the big scary mob boss had to run to his ex-wife to fix his problems. IMO this doesn't compare to Jax's rape in the slightest. Sonny's amnesia is his fault. If he hadn't been on that bridge to commit a crime (murder) he wouldn't have lost his memory in the first place. All I can remember hearing for months when the Nixon Falls story was going on was how this was all Sonny's fault (and Phyllis' somehow) because he refused to lift a finger to figure out who he was and now suddenly it's horrible that Sonny is actually being blamed for this situation?
