  1. I’m a little surprised how nobody seems to be wearing blue and yellow. Did everyone just assume everyone else would? Or were they just wary of coming off as virtue signaling?
  2. In the band’s defense he did sound like he was done at first
  3. Sorry costume and makeup teams, we needed a 5-minute ad for the new museum ”Oh hey, Harvey Weinstein” was funny though
  4. Let’s fast forward best animated short so we can see more Snyder stan fan clips
  5. Audience polls! That’ll get the tv ratings up! and #1 sucked
  6. I don’t think this song will beat Bond and Billie Eilish but I hope it does. Although it would be a bummer if LMM wins the EGOT without being there
  7. They seem to mention Tony often enough during the Olympics that I forgot skating joined the roster after his time
  8. I wish Dune came out a different year than Shang-Chi. The latter was visually stunning
  9. Did any of the A-listers go inside to watch those awards being given, or did ABC force them to stay outside for the red carpet? I remember Jessica Chastain saying she would but she was doing interviews in the pre-show.
  10. As expected, Dune is going to bring home the most statues tonight
  11. Why watch the sound crews celebrate when you can watch Regina Hall grab Josh Brolin’s ass?
  12. First black announcer in Oscars history, and her first introduction is interrupted by DJ Khaled. 🤔
  13. Somebody could have put a pin in Shannon after she received that validation.
  14. If the Oscars producers feel like West Side Story is such a long-shot to win Best Picture that they didn't bother to invite the film's lead until she called them out on social media, then why bother including them as a nominee? I can understand limiting the invitee list, but the main cast from each BP nominee should have been invited. Otherwise, it'd look pretty awkward if only the movie's producers, director and one actor are up on stage. But then this is the same group that felt so confident about a posthumous win for Chadwick Boseman that they wound up ending last year's ceremony with a "couldn't be here to accept so we thank you on his behalf. So uh... Good night everyone!" so maybe out of respect for all of the nominees they should just quit trying to assume the results ahead of time.
  15. Somewhere Dorit Kemsley is scoffing at the Dubrows trotting out "dear friend" Richard Marx for an impromptu concert. I will say, his voice pretty much sounds exactly the same as back in the day, so I was impressed. As awkward as Orange Ryne is, Dr. Jen's extremely socially awkward herself with her lack of ability to read a room. Did she think her audience would stay with her through a 30-minute medical research presentation? I'm not sure if half the room would be able to spell TBI. During his swearing in, I laughed when Shane stopped the judge to slow down because I had just been thinking "wow that's a lot to recite at one time." Although if most attorneys have committed it to memory, maybe that explains why it took multiple attempts and pandemic related leniency to pass the CA Bar. I thought he was giggling at the word "discharge." Like maybe he was recalling Jennifer Coolidge in Legally Blonde 2 barging in with "Who's ready to discharge?" Actually on second thought, I think that's exactly why he was giggling.
  16. I wondered if maybe this coincided with the Fashion Week finale of Project Runway. Gina was shown after the runway commenting about one of the collections, but (and I could be mistaken) I don't recall seeing Shannon in that finale episode.
  17. I wonder if Nicky and Max are thinking long and hard about potentially moving to Syracuse and being that much closer to Grandma. Yikes, I hope she was just playing a character: "Excuse me not to be rude but let me show you how to set a table. I don't care if it's not the way the people who sign your paychecks want it done." "Youth these days are so disrespectful (said right in front of her grandchildren)." I know it's naive but I kind of buy the Gina/Heather friendship. It at least makes way more sense to me than the five years that Heather and Tamra were BFFs. Shannon and Emily both protest too much about their lack of insecurity. But I still believe that Gina's new business venture bugs Shannon way more than being friends with Heather does. There's not enough water in that swimming pool to quench Noella's thirst.
  18. I'm softening towards Heather a bit from the beginning of the season, but that was shitty of her to air Dr. Jen's and Ryhhhhnnnn's dirty laundry after they'd left the party. Like she was saying "sorry everyone, I know they were trashy but they're having marriage problems so I want them to see wonderful relationships like all of ours, you understand." Hilarious that they all took his side over Dr. Jen's. Ooh, that Terry, such a rebel. "Do you smoke pot? No? How about coke? It's heroin right? Tell me it's heroin." I really don't understand how Dr. Jen can be so accomplished when she has speaks like an idiot. Another example was I think she referred to Heather as a "mentor" when I believe she meant "mediator." I don't see Heather turning on Gina anytime soon. I think Jen will get on her nerves first. Are the women refusing to film with Noella now? Not even Shannon hung out with her this episode. I see Shannon dropping Noella for Heather much more likely than Gina dropping Emily.
