Same. I'm glad that the show took the tone that it did this week. I remember the first time the band Pussy Riot made headlines and even NPR put together a supercut of newcasters saying "Pussy Riot." Great Canon submission. I'd seen this episode a month or so ago, and David's comment about the episode using its gimmick to have BoJack deal with a character flaw rather than just be "hey I'm a gimmick!" was interesting. Made me think that, intentional or not, the theme of the episode is that sometimes we need to get away from dialog to overcome a character flaw, or more specifically to BoJack, to get away from dialog in order to figure out what it is he's really trying to say to someone else. edit: one could argue the punchline of the episode implies that as soon as BoJack learns there was an easier way his reaction is "You've got to be kidding..." :D

Yeah, she did a good job in 50/50. I felt bad that her character wasn't written better because she really was solid in this one.

I agree that Che's WU parts were really bad tonight, but normally I enjoy him. I liked Cecily on WU as well, but I don't miss her there because she really shines in other places on the show, especially anything where she gets to sing. I have such a huge crush on Sasheer [swoon]

I have to admit that I'm in the "I don't get it" camp with BDH. I can't say I dislike her, but I don't recall ever being impressed by her acting either. The only time I felt she did a bad job was in The Village, but I have significant experience working with the blind so it would be unfair of me to fault her on things 99% of the viewing audience wouldn't notice.

I'm neutral about raisins on their own. Oatmeal raisin cookies, on the other hand, are evil dopplegangers left behind by the fair folk to replace delicious chocolate chip cookies.

She was in the opening credits but did she say she was leaving elsewhere? Also is Esther Povitsky a regular now? She was in the credits as well.

This looks like a great week.

Just started the episode. When Supergirl asks if she should get a blowout, it really makes me wonder if Kryptonian hair wouldn't resist normal conditioners. Her hair always looks great and never even has a stray leaf in it or anything...

I love that someone made the decision on this show that it was a workplace comedy, and as soon as Jake and Amy were coupled, stuck to workplace stories. edit: in other words, I love them as a couple, but like that the show didn't go the usual route of having the "Sam and Diane" unpack all their personal baggage at work.

I watched Degrassi Junior High back in 1983 and haven't seen it since. I never saw any of the follow ups but of course I'm familiar with Degrassi's most famous alum so I have to ask... even though I know Danny is not talking about Degrassi TNG am I a horrible person for picturing Drake every time he refers to the character "Wheels?" edit: turning off podcast for now because I'm a little buzzed and you guys don't need five consecutive posts from me about the cast.

As far as living forever in the singularity... fuck that. I have enough issues with the god of this world not being held accountable, let alone having to worry about what happens when some 13 year old on adderal decides to inject some code into the server I'm in.
