As much as Daya annoys me BTS, I can’t deny that she is a damned good queen and truly turns it on the runway. I hate queens coming back into the competition in general (and I hate it across the board on all competitive shows, hello SURVIVOR), but if that’s how Ru wants to run her show, then at least Daya has performed well and isn’t actually undeserving. I am a hardcore Lady Camden fan, though, and really want her to win it all.

I’m happy for Lady Camden that she did well, but yeah…the echo joke wasn’t funny enough to be repeated as it was. Bosco did well with opening the show, Willow was…is…charming as hell, and Angeria cracked me up with loving her own jokes so much. Daya Betty has grown on me, to be honest, and I did think she won that LSFYL, but I still see her going out next. We’ll see. The judges’ mad love for Jorgeous is beyond me. Michelle “awww”ing when Jorgeous admitted how uncomfortable she was doing the roast…I don’t recall seeing that much sympathy for anyone else during judging. These queens know the format, they know what’s expected of them, so Jorgeous shouldn’t be babied like that just because she’s a baby queen. So was Adore Delano in Season Six, and Michelle didn’t baby her. I found it off putting.

This tribe could hit TC every episode and I wouldn’t care. Drea’s pretty, but other than that I don’t care about anybody on that tribe.

I watched…just wasn’t impressed enough to comment. If the show lasts another year or two, they’ll already have gotten more than enough mileage from it to keep Ben’s furniture line going for some time. He does make some incredible pieces. I’m just bored with it. The show was cute and different in the beginning, when they took some truly questionable little old houses and turned them into some adorable…and very affordable…little starter homes. But now it’s all $300K budgets and cousins and friends of the family and it’s just not the same. I also liked Erin’s cute/quirky design sense at first, but now, when a client has a $300K budget, some of her design choices seem very out of place. Also, last night’s show had a laundry room/room for the Great Dane…with a photo on the wall over the dog’s bed, a slippery rug on the floor that they didn’t consider making non-slip, and white walls? That room will look a wreck in no time at all. Also, they were very impressed with their disappearing TV on the rooftop, but A) was that covering weatherproof? and B) the owner seemed to dislike TV, as he couldn’t wait for them to cover it back up. It just seemed like a waste of space and money to me.

I love Bosco, really I do, but I’m glad the judges finally called her out on the corset/panty/thigh high runway and her always…even in character…doing the Bosco brow. And she honestly wasn’t that good in Moulin Ru, either…she’s damned lucky she got the golden chocolate bar. My eyes went straight to Lady Camden every time she was on stage. I just love her!

This is making me so incredibly angry!!! Pam Hupp is the absolute worst, but holy cow was that entire trial against Russ slanted to benefit Pam! Between the prosecutor and the judge, Russ never stood a chance!

S14.E11: An Extra Special Episode

No, but Ru is obsessed. That’s all it takes. Case in point, Kandy Muse. Or Silky Nutmeg Ganache. -

I knew Bosco was winning that last LSFYL when Ru started drooling! Ru loves to laugh, sure, but when you can make her eyes pop out and her jaw drop, you’re not likely to lose. Bosco was sexy AF. -
S05.E13 : There's No Fear In Love

Ben is the same asshat who ignored the fact that Mahogany wasn’t answering his texts before he even made the trip down there to see her, then seemed surprised that she wasn’t there at the airport to meet him. I’m not so sure he has the critical thinking skills to assume that people won’t bend to what he feels is God’s plan for them to please him. Sorry for anyone with a Ben in their lives, but every single Ben I have ever known or known of has been a complete jerk. Same with people named Jordan. I’m dying to meet a really amazing person with either of those names, but it hasn’t happened yet. -
I actually am loving Judy Greer, too. She’s so good at being someone I love to hate, and I seriously want to smack her in this! She is so gleefully smarmy.

I agree…that roof patch was pretty awful! They seemed to have the funds, so why not fix that?
-
I have always felt this way about her on-camera persona. It's forced. I posted seasons ago that she tends to stroll into scenes, makes a useless comment, and then strolls out. The flirty giggle drives me crazy. That, and her high-pitched baby-talk, “Do you like it?” Sets my teeth on edge.

Little House On The Prairie - General Discussion
CraftyHazel replied to spidermiss2426's topic in Little House On The Prairie
Sorry…this made me literally laugh out loud. When did Michael Landon EVER care about keeping true to RL events?? Mary getting married and having a child, the multiple adopted kids the Ingalls added, women’s liberation, Colonel Sanders, Laura brawling in the streets with Brenda Sue, Cousin Jenny, etc. etc. etc. The real Ingalls and Wilder families were probably spinning in their graves! -
I’m going to agree on the male characters. I want to see female characters, unless your name is BenDeLaCreme and you’re portraying Paul Lynde.
-
I don’t mind “ripped from the headlines!”, but I would’ve liked to see a swerve…like maybe she is in the tropics after all and the man who was convicted was either being framed somehow or was guilty…but not of her death. I don’t know, I just think a lot of the best L&O episodes have had that little “gotcha” moment and I miss that. These episodes go so fast and it feels like they’re like cotton candy, just no real substance and no fulfillment afterwards.

What a terrible Snatch Game. Thankfully, I’ll probably forget it like I did Season 11’s. Daya Betty and Bosco at least looked their parts, and of course Deja Skye deserved to win as the only queen to come prepared, but wow…that was really, really bad. But still, Deja Skye winning is 100% better than Silky Nutmeg Ganache winning in Season 11.

Aw, shit…I really liked Jackson, and I liked his story. Damn.
-
Shallow moment…Drea is stunning!

“There’s a million world records, but there’s one Survivor.” Dude, there have been 41 Survivors already, and besides that, there is one world record holder for each record, so…your math doesn’t math.
-
I feel the same, honestly. I started watching the show because they fixed up affordable old homes in their small town, but the homes and budgets have gotten bigger, the games and antics have taken over, and Erin is a bit twee at times for me. I record the show for the house hunt and reveal only, then watch the entire episode only if something really intrigues me. I haven’t watched a full episode in some time.
-
Another non-elimination episode, and a Golden Ticket still in play. This season feels so long!

I have to admit, her performances have been pretty good, although neither last week’s top two placement nor this week’s win felt deserved to me. Runway-wise, she’s been strictly middle of the pack for me. Every single clip of her in Untucked, in the werkroom, or in her THs, though, make me dislike her. She’s not just salty, there’s an ugly edge to everything she says. I love Willow Pill, Lady Camden, and Bosco. I very much like Deja Skye and Angeria. I liked Kerri. But Jasmine, Jorgeous, and Daya can all go, and the sooner the better. I wanted to root for Daya Betty because I adored Crystal Methyd so much, but no.
-
So, Jasmine kicks off one shoe which appears to come straight at the judges, lets her top slide halfway off, and wins the LSFYL? Oooookaaaaaay… Kerri didn’t actually perform all that well, and the waistband of her tights was incredibly jarring, so I don’t truly mind her going home. But Jasmine didn’t win that LSFYL. Nope. No way. Congrats to Daya Betty, I guess, but I’m not really a fan. I thought there were better performances, and better runways.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent - General Discussion

Has everyone seen this? It gives me hope! Vincent D’Onofrio is not done with Bobby Goren yet… -
Lady Camden deserved to win for that runway moment alone!! That was freaking brilliant!
