I mean, you wouldn’t have been happy either way, so…
-
Olivia looked flat footed to me.
-
I preferred Jimmie, too. Dammit.
-
I don’t see Olivia leaving. Maybe Melora was giving her goodbye speech? I can hope…she rubs me the wrong way after that.
-
Also, maybe this wouldn’t be so rushed right now if Melora had shut her trap instead of thanking everyone down to the people who stock the toilet paper in the restrooms.
-
Amanda looks hot, I must say. And that was the best I liked her all season.
-
Nah, Iman won’t get them, either. Nor will Cody, and possibly not Amanda.
-
They really kicked Jimmie in the…teeth…didn’t they? They want him gone. Suni did great. I don’t care about Melora, but that was good. Not really a Janet Jackson fan, in all honesty. Shut up, Melora.

DD Smith IG DD uses they/them pronouns. I have been following them for some time, but haven’t found out a height yet. I’m curious, too.
-
Dariana and Grace are definitely plus size. Rachel is technically considered plus size for models, but average for the real world. Rachel Radcliff IG I think she’s stunning.
-
I absolutely agree that DD sold the hell out of that look. The idea of that on Bones’ model or Octavio’s model? Hard pass. It’s a good thing they don’t have to sell the winning look like they do on “Making the Cut”, because I can’t imagine that head-to-toe look selling well.
-
That’s DD Smith, and they are non-binary. So there is a good reason for that androgynous body type and look.

Liana was feeling full of herself, and thinking about how amazing it was going to be to pull off this move on poor, dumb Xander. There was no real need to get cute about stealing the immunity idol from him this week, when her group had massive numbers and could have just chosen another target. No, she wanted to make a splash, and with Shan whispering in her ear on top of it all, she just couldn’t wait to show off. Naseer and Shan both had immunity idols. Everyone knows who has them. Xander showed his (fake) idol to Liana. Why didn’t she then ask to see Naseer’s or Shan’s to see if they matched? I mean, if they all look different, at least then she knows that. But if the other two look alike and Xander’s doesn’t match, it’s distinctly possible that it’s a fake. Or just ask him to hold it up before she asks for it, and maybe Shan or Naseer might volunteer that it doesn’t look a thing like theirs. Or maybe just realize that no matter how low her opinion of Xander may be, this is season 41 and he might be smart enough (especially after telling people that he knew she had that advantage) to not show off his actual immunity idol at TC. Liana made that mistake because she got cute and cocky, and she deserves that smug smile being wiped from her face. I enjoyed it immensely. And I liked her until she and Shan latched onto each other.

That’s one thing I really dislike in the “design your own fabric” challenges. And yet, lining that fabric isn’t always feasible for the design. It looks cheesy.

I actually think Christian is a good mentor. Aside from redesigning their looks, there’s not much more he could do for some of these people. He told Bones he could not send a crop top and a fit-and-flare skirt down the runway. He has been telling both Darren and Katie that they need to elevate what they’re doing; it’s not his job to tell them step by step how. Gigi Hadid was absolutely trying too hard, but that seems to be the idea this season. Removing the ugly pink skirt from (Anna’s?) the floral jumpsuit with the burqa did not immediately transform that garment from “ewww” to “yasssss, queen!!”, no matter how much they want to pretend it did. I feel like Katie watched Hester Sunshine make the finale (and even win a swimsuit challenge with a swimsuit with no support or structure…seriously, wtf was that?!) and figured she could do that, too. And Nina Garcia can miss me with her astonishment that Katie made the dress she was wearing on the runway. It wasn’t innovative, fresh, or amazing in any way. It was a Target prairie dress rendered in ugly, mismatched prints. Sometimes I really miss Michael Kors and his refusal to blow smoke up a designer’s ass because it was her baby’s birthday or his dead mommy willed him his first sewing machine. Who cares?? I want to be inspired by your talent, not your sob story.

I really didn’t like Shantall’s, and with all of the bright colors and exuberant fabrics, hers looked drab and dull to me. The design was fine, and she fit the pants perfectly, but beyond that it didn’t scream special to me. I think Chasity was fortunate to have immunity, because her look was trashy, ugly hooker wear. I liked Coral’s. Octavio’s was a boring blob.

Katie trying to blame her kindergarten craft project clothing on Christian…
-
Surely…surely…between Prajjé’s mermaid gown and Katie’s clown suit, Prajjé’s is in the top.

There’s a whole lot of ugly in the workroom tonight, and I’m almost willing to bet that at least 1/3 of what I hate, the judges are going to love. I’m super girly and absolutely love floral prints, but a lot of these look cheap and tacky. We’ll see…

He and Evvie acted that out pretty well, I thought. Xander looked a bit nauseated and Evvie looked like she wanted to cry. Then came the glorious moment when Liana’s big advantage crumbled to dust, and I was happy again.
-
I had no problem with Sydney, and honestly wish she hadn’t gone. But better her than Evvie, at least. I don’t understand Erika in the slightest. “The devil you know” seems to be her strategy, because going back (at TC) to the people who exiled her doesn’t seem very bright to me. Obviously the other group needs numbers, and she’d have been higher up in that group than she is in the all-black alliance + Heather, Naseer, and Erika. I know they haven’t made their alliance known, but the speed with which Liana eased into that group ought to tell them something. I understand Naseer sticking around, but I think Heather and Erika would be wise to abandon ship, TBH. LOL…I totally forgot about Ricard. Oops.
-
Well, now Xander, Tiff, and Evvie know that Liana can’t be trusted for a hot second. They’re still clearly on the outs, though.
-
Erika is a dope. Those people ALL wanted her gone…she should be on the side with Xander and them.
-
Didn’t he say that in confessional?
-
That?! Was a thing of beauty! Xander with his fake idol, Evvie with her smug expression, Tiff sitting there pretending she knows nothing, and the rest scrambling for a new target. This is when I love stupid advantages…when they blow up the arrogance that Shan and Liana have displayed all day long.
