I agree…or at the very least, switched the rules. As it is, this will get super predictable super fast.

Jiffy’s sounding really hoarse…all that screaming at Tiffany?
-
What a weird “advantage”. And I hope Xander doesn’t actually trust Evvie, because she’s duplicitous as hell.
-
Holy. Crap. For all the episodes where little to nothing happened, this one more than made up for it…and with barely an audible spoken word. I thought this was great!

Mel C is such a gorgeous dancer. I feel like she and Melora are about equal, yet somehow Mel C just pulls me in.
-
I like Cody and Cheryl, and I thought that was pretty good. I hope Cheryl recovers quickly and that no one else gets sick.

Iman was fine. Martin is just sad. Melora was good, but I just don’t feel much connection to her dancing. Tyra looks absolutely ridiculous. I wish someone would tell her that she is NOT the star of the show…come to think of it, she probably has been told, but her massive ego just won’t allow her to accept it. She is still a beautiful woman, and even though she’s no longer her 1980s self, she could come out on stage elegantly dressed, walking normally (not as though the stage were her own personal catwalk), and not be such a joke. What is her problem??

I’ve never been a big JoJo fan (although I don’t dislike her), but that actually was very good.

Amanda’s dance was gorgeous. Like Len, it helps that I absolutely adore that song, but it truly was lovely.
-
Jimmie, now that’s what I think of when they say rhumba. I wasn’t watching his feet, TBH, but his upper body looked just beautiful.
-
I actually usually love Sharna, and I have nothing against Brian Austin Green, but I thought that was utter crap. There was way too much posing, standing around gazing at each other,, and even I…who know next to nothing about form or content…couldn’t see much rhumba there. They’ve been together nearly a year and she’s a pro dancer…has she taught him nothing upright in all that time?? Not a fan of Christine.

The Miz would annoy the crap out of me in real life, but I find him oddly entertaining so far on here. I liked Kenya’s dance, too, and she looks amazing in pink.

I’m here with this week’s obligatory “WTF, Tyra?!” post. I didn’t think Olivia Jade was that great…they surely are kissing her butt, though. And Matt wasn’t good, but he wasn’t deserving of 5s, either.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one not convinced of either Joan’s innocence or Kit’s guilt. I thought maybe I was just being naive again. I need to know what exactly convinced the police to clear Joan. I want to know why the police turned the house back over to the family so quickly. So many things just don’t make sense. I’m not convinced Kit is innocent, but I couldn’t have found him guilty based on what was presented by Dateline, for certain.
-
Yep! They need to watch him, he’s a damned good liar.

I grew up in Michigan, and “you guys” is their version of “y’all”, so I don’t mind it. But it won’t destroy the game for me, having that changed. I cut Sara a bit of slack on the crying. She lost her Survivor-loving grandma to COVID, and I got the impression that she’s playing kind of in tribute, so yeah, it would suck to be potentially voted out first.

I don’t know what’s more embarrassing, not being able to find all the paddles, or not unclipping the boat from the anchor you JUST clipped it to.
-
I don’t actually mind JoJo. She talks too fast, but she’s not as annoying as many others, so I don’t mind if she stays. I’d rather lose Olivia Jade, just for being Olivia Jade. But ultimately, I don’t much care.
-
All I can say is, I’m thankful they got Matt James to shave that dreadful beard off for the show.
-
…with linebacker shoulder pads! It makes it look like she has a pin head.
-
“Last year I got COVID on my birthday, and this is ten times worse!” Oh, Tammy…surely not.

It really is! These need to be one hour episodes, because I’m always stunned when it just…stops, right when it’s picking up such great momentum.

I love LeVar Burton, but I hope they don’t choose him. I honestly thought he was overly enthusiastic in his reading and didn’t fit the part of host as well as he could have. He was just the male Katie Couric…too bubbly, too excited to be there. I can’t even say I love Mayim Bialek being chosen for the “specials”, because she was far too animated, as well. The star of Jeopardy needs to be the contestants and the knowledge, not the host.

I didn’t dislike Nicolle, but I certainly didn’t want her to win! Glad she didn’t. Cute little Matt interview here…

I sure think she tried. But I don’t know if she got as many people on her side as she thought. She came across as very cruel and bitter. She looked vengeful, not like a strong woman but a vindictive one. I started the season really enthusiastic about her, but as the weeks passed and I saw how delighted she was when she could put one of the men down a few pegs, I started really noticing how easily she bought into any suggestion of “wrong reasons” behavior and how gleeful she was about exposing those people. I’m not saying she should have given any of them a pass, but never once did she say to any of them that she was confused about their intentions, she just dove right in with, “You’re a liar and a snake and a horrible excuse for a human being.” Katie seems to be a hard person to be around, and I’m especially glad she never even got to meet Michael’s little boy. Imagine that temper coming around a child!
