Jimmie continues to make me smile, and I loved that dance. It can’t have been easy having to learn to use those hooks, either; even if they blunted them beyond safety, they still have to be heavy, they change the length of his arms and how he can use his hands, etc. I think he did a great job and deserved the 9s. They couldn’t have found anything Belle-like for Cheryl to wear? And I like Cheryl and Cody, but that was good but not stellar. I actually think Tyra looks better tonight than she has looked in her two seasons on this show. She has a gorgeous face but her wigs usually look like she bought them off a $3.00 drag queen.

As much as I’m excited for the reveal next week, what am I going to do without this show until it returns for Season Two?? It’s such a fun, delightfully twisty little mystery! I think that it has been really well cast, well written, and just a delight.

I’m sad. I loved Matt. .😢 I had taken to spoiling myself, too, and when I saw the new champion pictured, I thought I was being punked. I didn’t even watch the show yet, because I really had grown to enjoy Matt and I don’t know if I can enjoy the game knowing he lost. I’ll probably just delete it and start watching again tomorrow. Maybe I’m an oddball, but I actually like a long winning streak on Jeopardy. It takes a lot of skill just to get on the show, but then to follow that taping schedule and keep on winning…and usually by quite a lot…is something special. I’m going to miss Matt.

James reminds me of my older brother. Completely tone-deaf with the snark volume on blast. They think they’re joking around, and they’ll tell you it’s all in fun, but there’s just such a cruel, nasty bitterness in what they say that you know they actually mean it. And it’s particularly ugly in this case, because Matt has been nothing but gracious and admiring in what he says about his fellow record-holders.

Matt also now holds position #13 in the highest single day earnings category. The top 12 positions in that category are all held by James Holzhauer.

I actually agree with you. I throw votes to everyone, in varying amounts, but I won’t give her one single vote, and I didn’t vote for Christine, either.

I thought Tyra looks much better in the green…from a distance. But close-up, she looks stupid as usual. The cutouts on the stomach? I don’t think they are actual cutouts, but flesh-colored panels. The dress wrinkles and puckers oddly. The blonde wig looks like a cheap shake-and-go. Just no. I think Cody danced really well, but I didn’t think the remote dance worked. It was awkward as hell. And Cheryl looks really winded, and sounded really winded on her Instagram earlier, too. I don’t believe she’s feeling as great as she says.

Yeah, I think she’s pretty good, but I wouldn’t throw her a single vote after the college admissions scandal. And it wasn’t just on her parents, either…she is a pretty privileged little snot.

Jimmie makes me happy, to where I don’t care if he isn’t that great, I enjoy him.

BAG was better this week, but he’s still not really good. Melora was so fun and I loved it!

Okay, Tyra has worn some questionable things, but this takes the cake for sure…she’s 47 years old AND not built for that outfit! She looks absolutely ridiculous!

I cringed when Mayim pronounced it “The Lady of Shallot”, like the bulb. There is no way that should have come from her mouth, because it is wrong, wrong wrong!

I actually agree with you. At some point, Abigail had to have realized that Noah was actually falling in love with her. Now, if she wasn’t feeling it, I don’t see why she couldn’t get that message across. They’re not miked out in the ocean, so take him for a swim and let him down gently…”Look, I’m just here to have fun/gain followers, so let’s keep it cool, and play the game.” That at least would have let Noah have options outside of falling for someone who had no interest in him at all, despite allowing him to believe she did.

I’m old, old enough to remember when Smokey was all over TV, and I always thought it was Smokey the Bear. Huh. Tomorrow, if he wins, Matt Amodio will surpass James Holzhauer’s winning streak. I never thought I would want that to happen, because I always liked James. But some of his Twitter snark has been reading a bit bratty of late, so I actually want Matt to not only surpass his streak, but surpass it by a lot. I know not everyone likes Matt or his style of play, but he seems like a really nice, cool guy.
