quick question, does anyone know when they re-run the pillow talk? It is just getting harder and harder to stay awake to watch this but I can't find it on TV guide (they are all just labeled Happily Ever After) and I don't do well with the whole watch online thing....

Saw this last night with my sister, it was fun and about what I expected it to be, I believe I have heard it referred to as the Fresh Prince of Agrabah, which fits pretty well. I didn't mind Will Smith as the genie...he's just so....Will Smith but he did well with it I thought. My sister and I were talking after the movie and I stated that even if Robin Williams had still be alive, I don't think he could have done live action Genie...he just fits that part better animated, just my opinion. I will give Will Smith (or maybe the make-up department?) credit, he doesn't look his age or at least didn't in this film until the very end when he was hugging Aladdin.

Other than cakepops and the Vanilla Bean Frap that is the only thing I ever get from Starbucks lol, so I can't blame her for that one. I will say a few summers ago they had mini Fraps, and I was guilty of buying my kids one of those, they were much smaller and like most said the vanilla ones didn't have coffee in them, although my kids were still a bit older than hers....

My husband keeps asking...what do these people do for a living....and I just keep pointing to the TV saying "this"....he is not impressed..... Also I am sad for Abbie and leaving her job.....

Went to see it this weekend, as a fan of the manga there were some disappointments (no Flan!) and while I understand having to try to cram some information into a shorter movie, they really started blending story lines so that was a bit frustrating to me. And yeah the eyes were bugging the crap out of me, I mean I know she's mainly a cyborg but some on, her head was still human...ugg anyway, with that being said, if I think of it as a "cliff notes" version it works, at least a better manga adaption than lets say Dragon Ball...... My husband who has never read the manga really liked the movie, yeah it was clunky at times but he enjoyed the story quite a bit. I also enjoyed seeing Rollerball in real life also : )

I read this manga when I was in high school, was one of my favorites.....not sure how I feel about seeing it in movie form since it never usually translates well....guess we will see....

so we are done bleeping the words out now.....because I have heard quite a few f bombs.....
