  1. I get the "you abandoned me" mindset of an adopted child, but I'll never understand Carly's resentment of being given up by her teenage hooker mom to a loving, if not especially well-off, family. I guess "not especially well-off" is the key reason. And Carly's entrance was the beginning of the end for poor Tony Jones.
  2. The moonlight glinting off the water, the sound of the waves gently lapping at the pier, spies waiting tensely in the shadows... I imagine the budget doesn't allow for much nighttime shooting.
  3. They've got bills to pay, like everyone else. And from a technical view, working on a soap can teach you a lot (good and bad).
  4. Also, his sermons seem pretty accessible. The woman who played the widow was absolutely stunning.
  5. Claudette was a green card marriage? Vaguely interesting—some thought was put into it—but the drama they're trying to make it into is so fake and forced. Same here. ME and JE play off each other really well. They were adorable playing Monopoly. The location shots look like a really nice community garden. LOL. The reason is Shawn is terrible at his job!
  6. This insane behavior from Nik would work if he were scrambling to keep Rebecca Budig from discovering he tried to shoot her, or to keep her from taking ELQ away from him, but neither of those things is happening, so it is, as Oracle42 said, it's both bad TV and bad soap.
  7. Fingers crossed she randomly comes across Finn and dies from the shock of his resemblance to Silas. If Ava could do the same, I'd appreciate that, too. She's pointless these days.
  8. The guy might have to do with Morgan—some friend at the hospital who shows him living with bipolar can be done. I can see the show getting all soppy about that, and it would make sense the message comes from someone closer to Morgan's age and not Sonny. As for the new female character, I have a sinking feeling it's Rebecca Budig's mother, too. Ugh.
  9. He accompanied Sidney helping the lady in the wheelchair (can't remember her name, sorry; she's last week's perp's mother) run errands. The Amanda stuff is so boring. I have a certain sympathy for her in that her father basically forced her into an unwanted marriage to Guy, but at least he seems to be trying to make it work. I think he'd be okay with her seeing Sidney if her preference for him weren't so blatant. Find another hobby, Amanda. The spy stuff was pretty weak, IMO, especially the meeting at the boathouse. Way to be discreet, everyone. Though the porter being the Tsar was a nice, if improbable, surprise.
  10. Anna isn't a party to the DNA test. There's no reason she should be contacted by anyone other than Griffin. As for his scar, meh. The reason will never be interesting to me unless it involves feline genes.
  11. I know. It's not Lauren's fault she was shot, but she knows the pier is dangerous. It's not unreasonable that she found herself in a situation that got her hurt, especially since she decided to take it upon herself to save that dumbass Morgan. I have no idea why Sonny and Carly don't spit every time her name is mentioned.
  12. It's been that way for at least two decades.
  13. Take advantage of a brain-damaged man? Who would do that? Oh, right.
  14. Hee. Full credit if Finn says that Morgan is, "supposedly, an adult" yet is still not fit.
  15. The reveal was okay, it was the followthrough that was hopeless. Lulu, the cheated-on wife, is the big bad here? No way. Hence the fake drama with Nathan's ex-wife, Claudette. WE NEVER CARED.
  16. The men who get stuck with Carly don't, though. I don't think they fully realize her awfulness until they have to live with her on a daily basis.
  17. I don't think Carly thinks in social-climbing terms anymore. If she goes with Finn, it will be to taunt Sonny somehow, same as when she married Jax.
  18. That's pretty much it. "Oh, I'm remembering something? Derp."
  19. His DNA test showed he was Duke's son. I don't think that will change, as that's his main reason for being on the show.
  20. Maybe Carly wouldn't be quite so invested in Avery anymore, but she'd still be way too involved in Michael and Morgan's lives. I don't think that will ever change. They have the misfortune to be her sons now and forever.
  21. Of course not; stepmothers are OMG TEH EVUL.
  22. I still can't believe Jason isn't doing more to figure who Jason Morgan and Jason Quartermaine were/are. Being magically drawn to a couple of photographs he had in his penthouse apartment isn't doing it for me, oddly enough. Please, no. It's bad enough the women are always sniping at one another. Let's not add slapping. Any shock value it once had is long, long gone. Now it just looks like the woman can't think of anything better to do, and the slapper looks immature and terrible.
