  1. I'd enjoy it more if Joss weren't such a giant hypocrite about it. She was fine with Sonny's abhorrent behavior when it worked in her favor; now that it affects her adversely, suddenly Sonny is the worst. Ugh. I can't applaud her indignation here.
  2. If Lois secretly sets up Tracy with someone I will be enraged. And Lois's judginess about Tracy not being nice enough to have an escort was gross. Shut up, Lois. Tracy doesn't "need" an actual invitation, but maybe she wants one as a keepsake. And I think it's also a way to keep the general guest numbers accounted for. You sent out x number; so far you've received y; then you get down to who specifically replied. Same. Marshall's story has dragged. He's been in PC for three years, and we're only now getting some sort of resolution? At least he decided he wasn't going to dwell on the inaccurate diagnosis and will live for today. I can't take more moping.
  3. Wow, they sprung for a photo of Tonja Walker. I love the relationship between Alexis and Valentin. I'm so glad they made it mostly warm instead of adversarial. Joss is acting like a colossal infant. Not that I'm surprised. I did not like Nina's outfit today. The blue color looks great on CW, but the style is so ugly.
  4. Sonny has never really cared about Joss aside from her being safe for Carly's sake. I like that about him. Joss's anger is so stupid. Dex worked for Sonny. WTF did she expect would happen? This is not an unforeseen consequence. Maybe it's cathartic for her. She likely knows what she can handle.
  5. She wiped out her savings, I believe. But she still landed on her feet, since she had the diner. And she still didn't suffer, since everyone immediately started falling all over themselves to help her. Such a pointless story, as usual.
  6. It's laughable every time they try to tell me Drew is such a doting father, because all we see is him blowing her off to either play Carly's lapdog or Nina's tormentor. And of course, he missed time with her while he was in jail because he was so intent on falling on his sword for Carly. For some reason her kids were more important than his own. Drew sucks in every possible way. Good riddance.
  7. Drew running around taunting Nina is so stupid. He looks ridiculous. When Carly is done exacting her pound of flesh from Nina, you know it's time to move on. Has everyone forgotten that Joss has gone through losing a boyfriend? We had to suffer through her moping Oscar for months on end.
  8. No, of course not. I wouldn't be surprised if that little fact is never revealed.
  9. I guess today we start the riveting story of Sam and Dante parenting a teenager. "He's Jason's son." How much parenting did Jason actually do of Danny? Not much, so let's dial back the "chip off the old block" nonsense. Maxie and Spin do not work romantically. That train sailed years ago. Stop recycling the worst stories ever, Show! Willow and Michael are missing the point. They lied to each other. Just because they love each other doesn't mean it's not something they should work on more.
  10. Finn likely makes decent money as a doctor, so why doesn't he move into a larger place if he wants Gregory to live with him? I'm sure Gregory would pitch in expenses as well. I think it's to give Ace some stability and security. He gets adopted and he won't be bounced around from guardian to guardian. Michael has done nothing to deserve such blind loyalty. Sonny's tough-guy act is as laughable as it ever was. Molly's outfit was hideous.
  11. Gregory is pushing her to be a kinder person.
  12. I wish someone would point that out to him at least as often as he and Carly are reminded that they committed insider trading.
  13. I thought Diane and Robert decided not to pursue a relationship, so why are they having breakfast together? The Lucy/Tracy stuff and Nina/Carly/Drew stuff is so, so tedious. OMG, Drew, you went to prison willingly for Carly!! STOP THE MADNESS. This fakakta show. Carly, if you don't want to be dragged into Drew's orbit of vengeance, don't get dragged into it. Tell him you won't do it, and mean it. FFS. He's being deeply disrespectful of you; do you really want to deal with this man baby?
  14. Didn't George post the naked teen stuff on the web? Even if he didn't, simply having that stuff on his computer is a federal crime, I think. I agree it's dumb we didn't see the feds come in at the end, but then Maroun couldn't have sniffed at Price. The writing for the trial side is still very weak, and they always rely on some unexpected information to come out on the stand. It's really aggravating to see Price and Maroun gape in disbelief at something that they should have discovered earlier.
  15. Jordan is useless, but she doesn't deserve a relationship with smarm meister Brick. YUCK. Drew is in pain through his own stupidity, Willow. I would love it if Dex gets killed because of Michael's stupid plan for him.
  16. It's the lack of nuance that bothers me. Immediately Trina goes into "my life is over; I'll never love again" mode. Girl, you're 22. Your life isn't over; you will love again. But nuance is something this show doesn't do, so of course Trina sees no future without stupid Spencer. I don't understand why they brought him back only to ignore him. I know Réal Andrews is having RL health issues, but the show doesn't even mention Taggert anymore. I think Donnell Turner is super appealing, but Curtis is deeply unpleasant.
  17. I have no problem with Trina grieving; my issue is that her life is over because her dunderheaded boyfriend is dead. In story time, Trina and Spencer weren't together all that long, and he wasn't a very good boyfriend for a lot of that time, IMO. This bitter old crank hates how dependent the women of the show are on men.
  18. I agree, and it didn't seem forced either.
  19. "School is meaningless now." Oh, for god's sake, Trina. You aren't ready to go back to school; fine. Take a semester off. But you're going to throw away the rest of your life over some dipshit 21-year-old boy? What happened to the young woman who had big plans for her life, regardless of how aimless Spencer was? I miss that Trina. Alley Mills was OTT with Heather's grief, I thought. I wished she'd used it to try to escape. That feels more like Heather to me than sobbing on top of Esmé's grave.
  20. It is; it's the ritual of the funeral that's important for a lot of people. Even knowing the BTS stuff about NAC, I can't muster an iota of sorrow for Spencer's death. I find him unpleasant most of the time, and he's been a mediocre boyfriend to Trina. Ugh, Michael whining about having to parent his children. Shut up, you stupid little shit.
  21. And have Carly's actions hurt her super close (/s) friend? Better it's some faceless insurance scammer. Ugh. SMH. "Middle class" is a designation that no one seems to understand, given how IRL people making more than $200,00 in places that aren't especially HCOL consider themselves middle class. And even in a fairly HCOL area, $200,00 is a decent amount for a family to live on as long as you're not trying to keep up with the very rich folks. It would definitely be more interesting to have characters at different levels of wealth, but that would require writing with nuance, which we know the show is deathly allergic to.
  22. Scott and Lucy thought they could bamboozle Tracy into marrying him (as if!) and then he'd wrest control of Deception away from her and give it to Lucy. It was one of the most harebrained schemes they've come up with, and thank Jasus they didn't make Tracy stupid enough to fall for it. Maxie overspent when Deception first went public, thinking she was set for life. For some reason, Felicia and Spin thought him moving in and paying rent would help offset all of that. Considering how in debt Maxie is supposed to be, Spin's rent should barely cover the extra groceries she needs to feed him. The way Anna has been written for so long hasn't been complimentary to the character at all, IMO. All tears and hair shirts and feeling hopeless. That's writing for a favorite? At least with Carly the bias is consistent and clear.
  23. Michael's office at Aurora is extremely ugly. What a boring episode. I know it's setting the table for what's to come, but it was done in such a dull fashion.
  24. That's such an odd way to refer to someone's kid. We know where Cam has been.
  25. Thanks for reminding me about this. I was watching that whole thing enraged that Carly has to be a genius at every. fucking. thing she does. She had the ad contract all ready to go with the exact right numbers? It's ridiculous. Probably, ugh. I am enjoying how inept he is at shooting at Sonny, though. I wasn't around for the original Jagger stuff, so I don't have any feelings about the character returning, but I do agree a recast with a blue-eyed blond is puzzling. Same. Suck on that, Drewfus. How deep is your love for your super special lady now?
