  1. I'd love for one or both of them to call Jason in it, but I doubt that will ever happen. Or if it does, nothing substantial will come of it.
  2. We don't know what anyone did yet. Whatever Jason's feelings for Carly are, his feelings for Michael are stronger, and the need to protect him is always uppermost in his mind. In some ways, Carly is just along for the ride because she's Michael's mother. Instead of or along with the brain tumor they gave him? It's also a relief that she shouldn't be constantly shrieking at everyone. For that alone, I'm okay with the retcon/reset. Good lord, that was annoying.
  3. It was one of the biggest problems GH stories had, IMO. Sonny's illegalities were constantly being excused by the PCPD because "he loved his kids," "he gives money to GH," "he was nice to Stone while he was dying of AIDS," and other dumb excuses. That didn't change the fact he's a gangster who has people killed. I think she's right when she says it can't happen with Sonny around. And I agree with @ffwbe that it hamstrings the relationships Jason and and Carly are put into (unless it's Carly and Sonny). I had to laugh in the FH interview that she says she tells SBu she always has to bring her A game in their scenes. I can't see what he gives anyone.
  4. Maybe not—Joss didn't seem as bent out of shape with Trina as she was when Cam dared to think Jason might have shot Franco. And Joss knows Trina is grieving, and Joss will think she's being magnanimous by letting it go. I think it's Michael.
  5. It's always gratifying to see Joss get called on her blind worship of Jason, even if he's never the bad guy. I wish Trina had asked Joss why she's adoring of Jason despite what he does and Dex is some terrible hit man. Trina, you can change your reality if you want to. Spencer's headstone will never not crack me up. Shouldn't the patronymic come before "Stefan"? Poor Elizabeth. It wasn't her fault, but she wasn't all that helpful in answering the boys' questions about Jason.
  6. Boops are a universal language no matter the species. They're starting to remind me of Mad Men previews, which were just characters saying lines out of context. You knew it was Matthew Weiner trolling AMC: "You want teasers for next time? I'll give you teasers for next time."
  7. I could've sworn it was tied into the PC Press, which I believe Todd Manning fused with the Sun during his time in town. Someone got the paper from him and it became the Invader. I could be wrong. Maybe it's a mashup of both? I remember some publication in PC was always printing salacious stories. Didn't Shawn buy the Invader from Aurora? Maybe Aurora bought it from Todd? This would have to have been during the days when Sam was forced to wear the Skirts of Oppression. There was that awful day player Invader reporter with the dumb name who was always sleazing around trying to get the scoop. He worked with Alexis early in her tenure at the Invader and then I forget how they got rid of him. I know for sure she wanted to change the direction of the Invader.
  8. Ugh, the Deception stuff is so stupid. Lucy isn't wrong, even if she's annoying about it. "Too many people are getting pulled into this." Then maybe you shouldn't have stayed in Port Charles, Jason. Or at minimum, not gone to see Carly. Olivia made manicotti! She can use pasta that isn't ziti. I did not miss the dumb stare off Jason has with law enforcement.
  9. In more popular terms, you're promoted to the level of your incompetence.
  10. I know! And he spent a lot of time, relatively speaking, on that. Why didn't the defense object? That would be an easy sustain. She could have called 911 when she got up to the street if she didn't feel safe in the station. Or even once she got home.
  11. I think it was originally a printed scandal sheet that someone turned digital, and when Alexis took it on, she wanted to make it a respectable news source. That cracked me up. Let's cover up one crime by committing another. Totally in character for those dumbbells.
  12. Me too. It seemed like all the undercover cop could verify was that the defendant was a part of a white supremacist group. That would give the murder a racist slant, but it was the extended choke hold that killed the victim. I thought the order side was stronger this week, but the writers still have work to do to clean things up. The dumb "surprises" have got to go. No foot chase! I'm surprised the witness wasn't charged with assaulting a police officer. He really smacked Shaw and Riley.
  13. He's definitely his mother's son. I thought the manipulation was gross, but it's not as if Willow wasn't eager to help. She willingly stole drugs. I can't feel sorry for her.
  14. Well, he needed something from Nina. Being aggressive toward her isn't the way to make her want to come back to Crimson. (I know, Nina is desperate enough to be editor again that it probably wouldn't matter, but you know what I mean.) That was glorious.
  15. Having Maxie give out passwords when needed is a very cumbersome way to keep things secure. Not that anything Spinelli does with computers surprises me. For people who work in beauty and fashion, the Deception crew is awfully ignorant about how the business works. It's no dig at Sasha to say she's not edgy. Though her styling for the shoot didn't help. LOL that Drew has to go crawling back to Nina and ask her to be the editor of Crimson. Serves the idiot right. I love how Nina was able to put the pieces together, even if it was Drew who did the dumping. Drew is one to talk about schadenfreude. And considering what a jackass he's been toward Nina, what did he expect her reaction to be? FFS. How much longer do we have to put up with him?
  16. Joss acted as if she were entitled to cheat, and the dope she cheated with is a big nothing. Joss and Dex are at least as boring as Joss and Cam. The only reason Joss cheated is because she was bored, and that's not soapy, IMO. Neither couple had much chemistry, so the cheating was a big snore.
  17. I hope not. If they're going to split up BL and Chase, at least make the guy something other than another cop. I don't think one who's actively going after Sonny is someone BL would be with.
  18. Just because Cam and Joss were boring doesn't mean he deserved to be cheated on. It's lazy, dumb, and creatively restricting.
  19. Sonny has mostly been the parent who indulges Kristina, so of course she thinks he's the one who supports her the most.
  20. Alexis was in a very different place when she lost her license, and I don't know why Molly can't see that. I get her basic concern, but Alexis knows getting her license back is a long shot. I wish those scenes had been more along the lines of Molly checking that Alexis has her sobriety checks in order, not that she's likely to have a relapse.
  21. Shut up, roboJames. Go drown in the Q lake. Tracy might have been a bit brusque (that's Tracy), but she's right that Cody should know how the horses under his care are doing without having to go look at them. Wow, Molly was making a huge leap thinking that Alexis getting her law license back would lead to her drinking again. Also, way to have faith in her current sobriety.
  22. Brook Lynn let Yuri off the hook a little too easily, I thought. Law enforcement comes knocking on my door and I want an explanation or to see a warrant. Especially when it comes to talking to a kid, I'd push back on letting them in.
  23. Wow. If I were a parent, that would really piss me off. The opportunity for intimidation and/or bullying is right there.
  24. He didn't say "tell me what you know about your father or I'll throw you in jail," but the fact that he's FBI and asking questions is certainly an implied threat.
  25. Oh, definitely. It's one of the things that makes Jason such a terrible parent to his own children—they aren't much of a priority. If the new writing team brings on new characters, I hope they're aware of how many people in PC are related. Too many of the earlier writers used some sort of familiar connection to do the heavy lifting of establishing new characters, and it usually went nowhere and was later ignored. (Whither Valerie?)
