  1. Those two women raised his sons even when he wasn't playing dead for Carly. This friendship has become so disappointing because it's devolving over Sonny, a manbaby who has never held up his side of a relationship. I think it's part exposition dump (Jason gets caught up as to what's been going on during his absence) and another "clue" that maybe something is going on with Sonny.
  2. What a waste of time to have to watch Lucy blather on and on. There was no other story? Color me astonished that Carly admitted to insider trading. But of course it was still Nina's fault, so... And LOL that Carly is just now realizing what a supremely selfish man she married a billion times. I can't with this nonsense. It is beyond pathetic that Nina is enlisting other people to save her marriage. And it's no fun to watch. Ugh, Brick oozes back into Jordan's life. Please stop this, Show.
  3. She still has a job because she gave the papers to Carly, who is trust incarnate, of course. Never mind Carly didn't hand off the folder until the next morning.
  4. More Deception squabbling. Please end this. Jason will probably threaten Nina into selling him her share of the MetroCourt so he can give it back to Carly. And because it's Jason, Carly will be okay with not doing it on her own. Spare me. The money talk between BL and Chase could be interesting. I don't think we'll ever get it, which is a shame. I's not just about one party having more money, it's about making plans for that money as a team. I wouldn't call Tracy and Luke's marriage a true partnership—he always found a way to take advantage of her—and I hate how she's rewriting things because of her grief. I look at Valentin and Alexis as a Cassadine alliance, not really as confidants. They help each other out when necessary but otherwise aren't too involved. That's fine with me.
  5. But that's what sets Carly apart from sloppy Nina. It's that special personal touch Carly so loves. UGH. I've heard that at every wedding I've been to. I've always wanted someone to blow in and shout "J'accuse!" but alas, everything has gone as it should. Hee. It's the law when you're in Italy to eat gelato every day! I'm not surprised BLQ hasn't been to Florence. She grew up with Lois in Bensonhurst, and Lois was never one to want to throw the Q money around for the sake of showing she has it. That was one of Lois and Ned's issues during their relationship, that Ned used the Q money and influence in ways Lois disapproved. I don't mind the Nina/Drew hate sex, but I the setup didn't quite work for me. It was a bit too WTF because of Nina wanting Drew to help her with Willow. They should have kept the focus on Nina being back at Crimson and bating him about Carly. Oh, well.
  6. I thought the name wasn't on the lease, but she was a tenant there, and that's why the judge said it was a close call to disallow the hammer. Which as someone posted earlier, shouldn't matter in a murder investigation. It's not as if anyone cut off a lock or something. A trash can is in plain sight.
  7. I guess that five-minute fight about the prenup is all that was necessary.
  8. "Let the meeting of the minds begin!" The last time you had a meeting of the minds, Drew, you were charged with insider trading. Since when does Aurora have significant capital? He doesn't want BL to pay for everything, which I get, but there are other ways to feel as if he's contributing financially to their relationship. I'm pretty sure BL doesn't want Chase to beggar himself just so he can feel manly. I hate this whole surrogacy story. It's been gross from the start, with Molly and TJ being unrealistic about how much they can control Kristina. She's not a robotic incubator. Again Carly whines about the standards at the MetroCourt, forgetting her bestie Olivia is supposed to be equally responsible.
  9. LOL. Carly was in nursing school for five minutes. It makes absolutely no sense that she's suddenly so invested in Wagger's recovery. I can see her taking him back to the MetroCourt and giving him some ice and ibuprofen, but after that? No. Carly whining about the drop in quality of the MetroCourt is pretty funny, considering Olivia is still supposed to be a partner. She can't order new ice machines? Drew, "Michael's child" is also Nina's grandson, not some rando kid. I wanted Jason to call Sonny's bluff and tell him, "Okay, take me out," and then Jason gets rid of everyone Sonny sends after him, because Jason is the only halfway competent hit man Sonny has had. Or the guys Sonny sends after him don't want to get rid of Jason because they like him better than Sonny. Heh. Of course Curtis goes from a wheelchair to walking with no use of a cane. And his going on about how he's doing it all for his family, when he spent so much time whining about his limitations. Ugh.
  10. And of course Wiley picked out the perfect anniversary present. GAG. I sent my parents cards on their anniversaries, especially the big ones, but that's one event in their lives that has absolutely nothing to do with me. Why is that kid still being shoved into things he doesn't need to be anywhere near? We already know he's a genius at every level of life. /deepest sarcasm.
  11. "My great-grandmother was on the board for several charities, nonprofit charities." Uh, nonprofit is what a charity is, Michael. Michael really wants Willow to be his idea of a wife. It's gross how he oozes his way to persuade her she's the one making the choices. Of course two thugs get the drop on an FBI agent. No LEO can be competent in Port Charles. Drew and Nina weren't the worst hate sex; it was better than crypt sex, at least. I look forward to Sonny and Jason's pissing contest. They're both such oafs.
  12. For how much longer, though? Nina has been through the wringer. At least Carly (of all people!!) has decided she's gotten her pound of flesh and is moving on, but Nina still has to deal with Carly's horrendous children. Then there's Drew, with whom she has a weird, evolving relationship that for me is still very problematic because I always feel like he's one angry outburst from punching her in the face.
  13. Jason hadn't returned at the time of the last appointment. Now that he's back, he's always uppermost in everyone's minds. She could have easily gone to live with Jax for more than just her summer break. Carly never limited their contact, and Sonny had no legal say (and was probably glad to be rid of her for a few months every year, lol). Nixon Falls has a lot to answer for. Sonny hasn't done nearly enough answering for it. Nina is still bearing the brunt of it, as the wimmins usually do.
  14. "I've never heard of a wedding dress emergency." That's the dumbest thing Natalia has said. If that was supposed to be some kind of burn/insult, it doesn't even rise to the level of lame it was so stupid. She did say she knew that when she and Dante were talking. I think she, Danny, and Jason need to sit down and hash out the rules. Then if things aren't followed, there aren't any surprises. Monday's ep is preempted for coverage of the solar eclipse. Thank goodness, because I need more time to recover from what looks like Ava's hideous new haircut.
  15. Tracy didn't want the exam in the first place, and it was a "perk" of being a board member, so maybe the co-COS doing the exam was part of that. I don't think that's what she's doing - she only remarked on how Heather seemed different. Kevin, otoh, did seem to be heading there. You would think his experience with Ryan would make him more cautious. If Heather wasn't technically responsible for the hook killings, she was still in prison for other crimes, right? I don't think they committed themselves as to when Heather got the hip implant and when it went bad. Or did they and I missed it? Kevin is the one for now who seems to be trying to lessening Heather's sentence somehow. I don't quite get why he's falling so quickly and fully for Heather's change of personality. (And LOL that it started immediately after the poison hip replacement was removed!) If she hadn't already seemed to have the run of Pentonville, I'd suggest giving her more privileges, but I'm at a loss as far as that goes. Heather has been a terror long before her hip replacement, which Kevin and Laura seem to be forgetting. I don't think showing her a bit of grace now is a bad idea, but she still did what she did. And while Portia is right, it's highly unprofessional for the co-COS to be screaming about it in the middle of GH. At least go to an office and close the door!
  16. I'm pretty sure Tracy won't miss having chicken parm for her birthday dinner, Olivia. Did you even ask her first? Highly unlikely. And do you know what flavor of cake she'd prefer? Ugh. Tracy would probably enjoy the mashed potatoes, though. With a nice rib-eye steak. Who doesn't like mashed potatoes? Though shepherd's pie has mashed potatoes and is delicious. Really condescending of Olivia to think that Sasha couldn't come up with something Sam and everyone might eat. But nice bit of self-knowledge to know they're probably sick of Olivia's "usual recipes." Her repertoire is super limited. LOL at the randos in Bobbie's who effusively applauded Curtis walking in. They have no idea who he is! I'd join in halfheartedly because everyone was clapping so I wouldn't like a jerk, but that's it. And kind of gross Curtis had to walk again to realize he'll always be who he is. Are cold hands and feet symptoms of depression? If so, I've been unknowingly depressed for my entire life. My hands and feet are always cold. I like how they wrote the Tracy/Terry scenes. Tracy was defensive and Terry didn't try to downplay that, she was supportive of Tracy's actions. Once again Portia exhibits her spectacularly bad professionalism by not being able or willing to separate her personal feelings from her medical obligations. I'm glad the new writers realized Joss being a doctor was a bad idea. She'd be more terrible than Lainey, world's worst therapist. (I still love you, Kent Masters King!) Previews: Wagger tells Drew "that could get you sent back to Pentonville." Exit story?
  17. You make a good point, @Bringonthedrama (though the Spinelli example is a little shaky, LOL). If he were trying to free Lucky instead of protecting stupid Carly, that's definitely a mitigating factor. But Jason still wouldn't have contacted anyone. In fact, it puts the onus on them to make things right with Jason, when their anger is completely legit. They shouldn't have to feel guilty about it just because the reason for the lack of communication was "good." He was still dead for two years and people suffered because of that. Regardless, though, Jason won't have to do much to get people to get over their anger toward him. He's St. Jasus, dammit!
  18. Oh, I missed that. My bad! Basically that Nina was being an idiot. Passive-aggressively trying to contact Sonny by congratulating him about Molly being a surrogate was not going to magically solve their relationship problems. (Though, lol, I tried that decades ago in another context. Spoiler: It did not change the fact the dude and I were dunzo.) Ava is not going to put Nina's wants over her own. Nina needs to get back to being the badass editor she was before she decided to subsume herself as Mrs. Sonny Corithos.
  19. An opinion Carly herself shares, whether she's with Sonny or not. I didn't mind Nina and Sonny—she lightened him up, which he desperately needed—but now she's just pathetic. She needs to cut her losses sooner rather than later. Plus, it's not as if Sonny has a problem remarrying a former wife, lol. Let the dust from this divorce settle and see what happens.
  20. Uh, Brook Lynn has a father who might want to dance with her at her wedding, and I think he takes precedence over Dante, definitely, and depending on how he feels, Gregory. If Jason weren't covering for stupid Carly, would it change anything to hear what he was doing? The outcome is the same: Jason didn't let anyone know he was alive for two years (or whatever the way-too-short time was). If I were in people's shoes here, the Carly reason would add a giant additional layer of anger, but Jason still was incommunicado. That's what everyone is furious about. In some ways the reason doesn't matter. What's weird is how interrelated everyone is on more than one side, and there's never much acknowledgement of that. Same. They're kindred spirits in some ways, and I like that the show is leaning into that instead of making them antagonistic. That's so boring. Very abrupt commercial cut after Tracy sat down with Stella at the cafe. I wonder what happened. Previews: Crybaby Heather is nearly as annoying as caterwauling Heather.
  21. I want some acknowledgement that Drew realizes the threat of physical violence was way of out line and he regrets it.
  22. Yes, yes, yes. Let's hear him try to justify that. And how pathetic that our strong, independent female lead can't be without a love interest for more than a few months. I don't want Drew and Nina together because their banter at the moment isn't fun and snarky, it's cruel and abusive. And I will never forget that Drew was upset that Nina was a woman and he couldn't punch her in the face for telling the SEC about the insider trading.
  23. Can you blame her? Her husband is as appealing as raw boneless, skinless chicken breast.
  24. I had to laugh that Willow's idea of putting your own doubts aside and trusting your partner involves breaking a bunch of laws and putting your professional reputation and livelihood in danger. And she doesn't think that was such a bad thing! LIESL IS YOUR LITERAL LIFESAVER, WILLOW.
