One thing that bugged me about that... Anthony had already walked away from the table, he was going to get the car. The shooter bursts it, yells at the table, and starts firing. Anthony shoots him because he's standing away from the action. Wouldn't the shooter aim at Anthony, and not the table (since he's not sitting there)? That didn't make sense to me. I need to go back and watch that scene again. I'm saying all this from memory, maybe it was laid out different than I remember.

Maybe it was different on various sources (HBO vs MAX or other?). There was a warning both before & after each episode for me (MAX).

Remind me... is this the final season, or did they say it would be a three season story? Thanks!

On many players, you can. But what made this scene weird was that only the brief T&S segment was replaying... over and over. Almost like a record skipping. Spooky!

I thought they figured out that the new super missile, that 650 of them had failed. I don't remember the exact scene, but it was related to the page of numbers. Maybe they didn't really fail, but were actually "misappropriated", and were being sold for the 100K.

No. Absolutely not. No crew member of any kind--producer, camera person, Jeff, etc--ever has any input into anything the cast does, related to the show. That would be manipulation, which is against the rules for shows that offer prizes, and would lead to the immediate end of the golden goose that is Survivor. No. Full stop.

Jeff addressed this in "On Fire" podcast. He said when they put food out--sandwiches, fish, whatever--when it's time to actually eat, they give them fresh food, not the food that's been sitting out. Always.

You're not wrong. I was stunned when he used that term at Tribal. And I'm an old white guy, so I'm not a sensitive snowflake.

I think Barclay has "Bee", as a counterpoint to "Tee". Bee and Tee. I thought the special was okay. The two qualifying runs lend themselves to Flex's strengths--slow, methodical, successful. And her hubby (fiance?) is the same. Neither of them is a speed demon, but both, especially Flex, are strong ninjas. But in the Power Tower, there was no way either of them could keep up with Kyle. Especially since the first runner had 2/3 of the course. He had such a lead, all Megan had to do was not fall.

It is the finale episode of this run to the Finals. But there is one more episode next Monday, I think it's a Family Championship, or maybe a Couples Race. Not sure. Don't really care.

This was one of Apple's highest rated series. While any SF based story will have lots of nits to pick (it's the nature of the beast), in general the producers did a great job. I don't see them making changes to mollify viewers.

In a world of extremely limited resources, where everything is recycled, cremation would be a waste of good organic material. Composting is the best thing to do with a body. I think the apples are just a gesture. Just a guess, I don't know.

In both the books and this show, we're shown that psychohistory works. It's literally predicted certain moments in history before they actually happened. Is it perfect? Does it need a Second Foundation to give it a push every now and then? Will it still work as more time passes? Who knows? That's why we watch!

Some thoughts, and I realize both you & I are just speculating, but it's fun to do... First, your last sentence: Technically, Hari didn't "consider" anything in his calculations. Psychohistory is supposed to be pure Math, so the numbers lead where they lead. He looked at different scenarios, and saw the best path was the 1,000 year Interregnum, as versus 10,000 of thousands of years. As far as the chaos, again pure speculation. The Prime Radiant showed him that when the Empire collapsed, the entire Galaxy would ultimately fall into chaos. It wouldn't be surprising, as without a firm leader, you would have hundreds and thousands of planets all vying for power. War, then its aftermath, which is even worse. But hey, who knows?

I thought S15E12 was the second half of Stage 1? The second group to run Stage 1?

I can't wait that long. I try to watch it Thursday evening when it first streams. I was listening to the official Foundation podcast, and on this week's podcast, they had the guy who wrote this episode. He mentioned that he was a huge Asimov Robotics fan, and he intentionally found a way to work that in. If she does attempt it, she'll fail. Demerzel is too omnipotent. I think Day is starting to realize this marriage is a mistake. I predict by the end of the season he changes his mind, and either he or Demerzel will assassinate her.

It is. She's had a tough few years, and getting back on a ninja course is one of her few pleasures. She did really well. Timed out, never fell. She knew she had no chance of finishing--too short, not strong or fast enough--but she does really well for a female. I think she made it further than any other female last night. HUGE moral victory. For those that aren't aware, she is one of the most popular ninjas. She travels the world, competing in ninja tourneys. She gets invited to most of the big ones. Very well-loved competitor.

They knew of Earth, and even called it that (which I always found weird). And it was one of a handful of planets suspected of being mankind's home planet. But no one really knew which planet it was. Until maybe the end of the series, they found it. Maybe. It's been a long time since I read the books.

I've read most of Asimov's books, and I vaguely recall everyone spoke a single language, both in the Foundation books, and his Robot series. I think that was one of the mysteries of mankind, why everyone spoke a single language. Another mystery was which planet humans came from. They no longer knew that.

I'm looking forward to learning more about them. It seems that's where Hober Mallow ended up... Spacer Central.

We don't know that at all. We have NO IDEA what will happen in the next episode. Maybe she makes it to another Silo, maybe the air in the suits last longer than you think, maybe... something none of us have thought of. But the show made it clear the air is toxic, and the tape was the reason behind the deaths.

Me too. I wasn't enamored with S1, but this season is a whole new world (sorry, bad pun). They finally have a story that makes you want to binge watch, with incredible visuals. Do we know that Sareth was behind the attempt? I missed that.

He's not competing this season. I think I read he's finished with ANW.

Zuri wasn't even there last night. She was clearly in front of a green screen, you could see her outline.

It was great to see Barclay have a good run. She's had some challenges the past few years. She seems to be in top form. I heard Hunter Ogden hurt himself, so even though he qualified, he had to drop out. I watched last night (using a DVR) in 30 mins. Only one hour, plus lots of filler & commercials makes for a short show.
