  1. Disagree. There are a lot of TS fans, male & female, young & old. You'd be surprised how many. Or maybe you wouldn't, look at her stats. I'm an older, white male, and a TS fan. I can name 30-40 songs easy. Grateful Dead or Jimmy Buffett? I could name either's entire song catalog, start to finish.
  2. Jeff addressed this on the podcast. They fly out a chef from Applebee's, along with all the ingredients.
  3. Quote of the week! PS: Me too.
  4. Yes, it's clear they wrote that scene to keep us in the dark. We know there's corruption now. But we don't know if the Captain is involved. This gives the writers leeway to take the story where they want. One thing that's a little odd, but doesn't really matter. The Captain has his own "charity" and philanthropic fund. A couple episodes ago they had a fancy event at a fund-raiser for his charity/fund. Police captains aren't dime a dozen, but they are not remotely high up enough to have charities & funds. Unless he or his wife come from (or have) money, in which case all bets are off.
  5. I've been (indirectly) involved in one of these suits, so I learned a lot about them. There are lawyers who specialize in this sort of kinda-scam, but they would never, NEVER do it fraudulently. It's way too easy to find or create a legit case. No lawyer would risk their livelihood by using fakes and stolen identities. Having said this, I'm sure there are a few crooks out there, but they're truly idiots, considering how easy it is to make a legit case. There are exceptions in the ADA laws for many small businesses, usually under 15 employees. They don't have to provide the same level of assistance as larger companies. And as you point out, most businesses don't have to have public bathrooms. Also, they said something about rear exit I think. ADA can usually be satisfied with a single handicap access entrance. None of it made sense, including beating the lawyer, then hanging himself. But it's a typical BB story line.
  6. Jeff talked about this--his rambling, and shutting up--extensively in this week's podcast.
  7. Yes, they dropped it. It was mentioned in one of the podcasts.
  8. FWIW, tomato juice does not work. It masks the smell (temporarily), but does not eliminate it. Having had multiple dogs skunked over the years, the only thing that works is a mix of peroxide, baking soda, and dishwashing liquid. Google it. I didn't have a problem with Shred's attraction to that woman. She's cute, seemed like a great personality, and they also seemed to mesh right away. We may see her again.
  9. By her request. She wants to try new things. She doesn't want to be pigeonholed playing a 13 year old kid. I think she's 15/16 in real life, and wants to try some other things in the acting world. Good for her, turning down easy money for a real challenge.
  10. Agree. Will Sasso is killing it, and they aren't even giving him that much to do. Rachel Bay Jones is playing the mom. She's a superb actor, and has won an Emmy, Grammy, Tony (three of the four EGOT). I remember her best from God Friended Me, the first time I saw her on TV. Then she was on United States of Al. She's clearly a good actor, but she's being written as a harpy. A little too much, if you ask me.
  11. It could be better worse: he could be a Deadhead. They never shut up! 🤣
  12. They have not said a word about it this season. But knowing Chuck Lorre, he could pull it out in the finale, maybe Bob & Abi move to wherever med school is. Or knowing Chuck Lorre, we may never hear it again.
  13. Anna Sawai, the actor who plays Mariko, will be on Stephen Colbert tonight (Monday). Sorry for the late notice.
  14. HUGE mistake in this episode. Sharon says her grandmother only subscribes to the paper to line her Cockatoo's bird cage. But at the end, he hands Nell a cage with a cockatiel in it. How can I keep watching with glaring mistakes like this?!? 😏
  15. I thought she was pushed out the window by her husband.
  16. Young Sheldon would not be a hit sitcom if it was a "much darker and more depressing show". While the showrunners have done a decent job with continuity, they have said more than once that they are more interested in making a great show, than in following the fine print of the BBT bible. And good for them, because otherwise it wouldn't have lasted one season.
  17. I thought it was an excellent start. Has me completely hooked. I have not read the books.
  18. One thing that bugged me about that... Anthony had already walked away from the table, he was going to get the car. The shooter bursts it, yells at the table, and starts firing. Anthony shoots him because he's standing away from the action. Wouldn't the shooter aim at Anthony, and not the table (since he's not sitting there)? That didn't make sense to me. I need to go back and watch that scene again. I'm saying all this from memory, maybe it was laid out different than I remember.
  19. Maybe it was different on various sources (HBO vs MAX or other?). There was a warning both before & after each episode for me (MAX).
  20. Remind me... is this the final season, or did they say it would be a three season story? Thanks!
  21. On many players, you can. But what made this scene weird was that only the brief T&S segment was replaying... over and over. Almost like a record skipping. Spooky!
  22. I thought they figured out that the new super missile, that 650 of them had failed. I don't remember the exact scene, but it was related to the page of numbers. Maybe they didn't really fail, but were actually "misappropriated", and were being sold for the 100K.
  23. No. Absolutely not. No crew member of any kind--producer, camera person, Jeff, etc--ever has any input into anything the cast does, related to the show. That would be manipulation, which is against the rules for shows that offer prizes, and would lead to the immediate end of the golden goose that is Survivor. No. Full stop.
  24. Jeff addressed this in "On Fire" podcast. He said when they put food out--sandwiches, fish, whatever--when it's time to actually eat, they give them fresh food, not the food that's been sitting out. Always.
