  1. shapeshifter, Oliver was the one who convinced Teddy to fund the podcast in the first place with his deli. Once they did that - and spent his money - they meddled and found out about his illegal activities and got him and his son arrested.
  2. Oh now I am thinking that maybe it was Lucy that texted them to get out of the building that night. I am more confused now but i have to go to bed as it is 2:00 am here and I have to work tomorrow. GN.
  3. After tonights episode I am thinking that the person in the passageway may not have been the killer. If Lucy knew and played in the passageway there is a good chance that the killer may know or not. I thought it looked a bit like Theo for whatever reason but it is possible the killer did away with Bunny and someone else actually witnessed it from the tunnel. I could have sworn I saw some newspapers in a few places. Maybe it is a hideaway for some of the staff? Oh wait if they weren't the killer why would they be in a mask? Nevermind ...... I loved the look on Jan's face at the end. Lucy said they were a good match..... Oliver and Mabel are going to freak out.
  4. The therapist is the black guy who was at Bunny's goodbye luncheon and who takes venmo for payment. I am convinced that the person in the passageway was a man. I am no expert but he had a strange way of walking. I really liked this episode but these secret passages are kind of getting out of hand. And that one they walked down could be sold as a 3 bedroom apartment it was so wide. Has no one in the Arconia every looked at a map of the building? You mean to tell me that Lucy knew all about these passages 8 years ago and never once told Charles about it or let it slip? Also no stunt double on set for Charles?
  5. But would Saz be that insistant enough to kill? From what I gathered Charles has been pretty much not working for a while. Saz would already be out of work for a while and I would not expect her to be counting on work from Charles. Also how would Saz have a relationship with Bunny so that Bunny would be that familiar with her. Bunny really barely knows our 3 detectives IMHO. But of course we are only 3 episodes in so what do I know? Lol.
  6. I keep thinking about this show. I am torn toward believing maybe the killer did not have a key to Bunny's apartment. I mean they knocked and waited for Bunny to be impatient enough to answer. I know she probably gets all kinds of visitors being board president but what if she was in the bathroom or asleep? Do you believe the killer would have taken a pass key and entered her apartment anyway? Also did the killer wait until the 3 detectives had decided to party on the roof away from being a potential witness? I also am not 100% sure how the events play out. Did the killer stab Bunny in her apartment and leave her for dead after they left with the painting? Then Bunny stumbles out into the hallway where she just happened to make it into Mabel's apartment? I have no idea.
  7. You guys have some great theories and I am thankful for a discussion like this one where I can ask questions or just read and learn. Ever since last year I have been trying to get someone in my family or friends circle to watch this show. I have not had any luck. One niece started last season but got bored within the first 2 episodes. Oh well. They don't watch Ted Lasso either and I thought I was the last person to start watching that show....
  8. Can anyone let me know if just anyone can get into the Arconia? I know Tie Dye Guy did last season but he got in under the fire alarm warning where a lot of doors would have been opened. I am trying to determine that anyone could have come into the building and gotten to Bunny's door or if it had to be someone who lived there or at least was familiar with the layout. The secret elevator from Bunny's closet leads to a door without a handle correct?
  9. I too really liked this one. I am glad they have given some of the stage talent time to shine. I thought this was a nicely balanced episode which showed a recreation along with the relation to our 3 podcasters! I am not 100% sure what the waiter's deal was but I got the impression that the envelope full of money was not the first gift she had given him. I noticed that they didn't mention whether or not her eating companion was male or female. I mean it could have been the new board president Nina as far as we know. I did appreciate that Bunny seemed to know a lot about how to fix elevators. That would make sense based on how long she has been there and the fact that she is basically using her secret elevator on what seems like a daily basis. Why did she not go with Uma when she said for her to follow her? Did I miss hear that? The surprise party basically tells me that Bunny has given access to her key to more that maybe just Uma. She didn't seem to put out to see 4 people she was not expecting in her apartment. That is unless she was planning on meeting them there in the first place. I could not tell but I would have expected someone like Bunny to fly off the handle if she saw 4 strangers in her apartment but I could be completely mis reading this .
  10. I am not a fan of Amy Schumer but what is all this hate for Tina Fey? I have quite liked her in other shows. I really liked her in 30 Rock. Did she do something to piss everyone off?
  11. Emma675 I assume that Bunny's apt to be on the same floor as Mable's. But I can never remember which of our 3 lives on which floor..... Sorry about the spoiler tags. I continued it because I messed up and thought I was on episode 1 thread there for a minute. I did chuckle a bit when Amy Schumer told them she didn't want the fake painting and to get it out of her Sting apt. Lol
  12. Martin Short was great in that scene. His character is so bad when the pressure is on. I did chuckle over the fact that there is a bad cart just like everywhere i have ever worked that has these things.
  13. Amy Schumer seems to be taking over the Sting "celebrity" role from last season. I expect she will be mentioned and have a couple of bit parts in episodes whenever they need some sort of reference to NYC fame. Are we to believe that Mabel will be hooking up with the art dealer? I mean she obviously will be their art "expert" this season. I hope we get at least one more episode with Nathan Lane and his son in it. Also I enjoyed the music as well. Was it more subtle than last year?
  14. I liked it pretty good although I thought the closet part was a little far fetched. It is good to have the show back again.
  15. I too love the music. What is the name of the song that plays over the opening credits?
  16. This. That seemed too weird and setup. They just picked it up and ran with it.
  17. Oh well there doesn't seem to be much interest here for this series. I watched the second episode and quite frankly was a bit bored. I am gonna hope that this series has actual game footage with the stars playing and it is not just back office stuff. As much as I like John C Reilly - and I think he is great here - this is supposed to be about basketball right?
  18. I watched part of this. It looks pretty good but is anyone put off by the overuse of film grain and muddy colors? I know this takes place in the late 1970s but do the colors have to make my TV look like it did in the late 1970s?
  19. Happy to know Nathan Lane will be back. Shirley MacClaine is good news but I hope Amy Schumer is playing a character and not herself. Cara is not the best actress. Maybe her eyebrows will have a guest role. I just hope they have all good episodes.
  20. This is a pretty good theory but how do you explain Mabel saying "It was an accident" to the two guys when they burst into her apartment?
  21. That was truly shades of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. As much as I like this show and and hard nosed as New Yorkers are doesn't it seem that there would have been a whole lot more security/fear in the building after an unsolved murder occurred there? I have seen how people react to just having a major crime in their neighborhood say nothing of it happening in the building you work in . I know it was for comedic effect but Bunny telling the supposed murderer to "Stop murdering!" was a little much.
  22. Hmm so Jane Lynch was just a paycheck? I was hoping for a switch on that one. I will look past how one person can somehow go into the basement of a major building and with two hoses and a couple of switches set the whole place to go up like a bomb. I know they made light of it but whatever.
  23. they did a pretty good job with the wrap up!. "Do you need help? I now take crypto currency." Lol "struck down by the Irish flu" Lol Oh yes we will always want to know if it was the Gut Milk that saved him.....
