  1. I love Howard getting on the elevator and thinking that it was OK then....... pandemonium!!!!!
  2. In the stakeout episode Charles tells Mabel in the car that he is 75 years old. I would assume that Oliver is somewhere around that age or slightly younger. It is hard to tell as they have the same frame of reference for age (the 70s etc) but Oliver always seems to give off the vibe to me that Charles is older.
  3. I sure wish they would do a double episode for the finale so they could try to tie up some of these loose ends.
  4. One thing pissed me off. They are clearly dragging out the reveal of Oliver's paternity for some reason. I am thinking that it has to be related to the end game. On a way out note there was someone else near the diner that night....... who had a car ........ and could have beaten the Trio back to the Arconia ...............
  5. I agree with this. I am assuming that Howard's boyfriend was the guy lost in the corridors when Lucy was originally hiding there the night Bunny was killed. The guy who broke into the apartment - the killer - while she was there was clearly trying to get into the passages as they went straight to the bathroom and probably would not have broken in like that if they thought someone was there. Although I guess Lucy saying "Charles" over and over again must have tipped him off but he was not stopping. But I am still 100% confused. What was the purpose of having Nina and the doorman scene? Are we to believe that she does not trust him and by association we are not supposed to trust him? He certainly had love for Bunny.
  6. Kreps is glitter guy but I am still convinced that Glitter guy is not necessarily the killer. Kreps being there though in the middle of a black out on the same night that the killer does come into Charles's apartment. It almost seemed that the person coming in either expected the door to be open - as Charles is wont to do - or knew Charles was not there because he knew that they were at the diner. Of course So Howard's new boyfriend is the guy that Lucy saw in the passages the night that Bunny was killed? They mentioned that he was subleasing from someone so if he was new in the building how could he already know about the passages unless he was a plant sent there to steal the painting? Maybe hired by one Alice! Sorry I am getting my Hercule Poirot cackles up. There were some funny lines though. "I'm a librarian." Shut UP!" "That's our motto." lol Gut Milk pusher. The first one is free the rest are going to cost you.
  7. I think Glitter guy couldn't find his badge -Mabel has it - and maybe went back to his job to search for it/get a replacement. He also doesn't seem to be hurt too much since he can still run but it will be difficult for him to hide those wounds. I guess Nina's fiance is not glitter guy as I can't see him having to moonlight as a security guard at Coney Island.
  8. "Like I don't know fucking chorus line". She killed it. Lol. I think Lucy is never really taking the train and is just hanging around the passageways of the Arconia.
  9. Why didn't they tell/ask the detective about the text messages. I was pretty nervous when Mabel was in that locker. It was shades of Metal Gear Solid 2.
  10. You might want to take a closer look at that final scene. I am pretty sure that we see Mabel pulling at least one knitting needle - the one in her right hand - out of the guy's upper body before she runs out. If she didn't stab the guy then she is doing a pretty good job of fooling me into thinking she did.
  11. OK I just read that tomorrow's (08/02) episode takes place in Coney Island. I looked back and here are pictures of Selena Gomez filming at Coney Island with Theo - Teddy's son. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-10587307/Selena-Gomez-sports-plaid-miniskirt-films-scenes-Murders-Building.html
  12. You guys are all bringing up good points. I really want to know what happened on that subway train and what causes Mabel to snap. Also they would not bring in the great Andrea Martin for just one quick cameo would they? I am now leaning toward Alice just a forger and possibly the worst friend this side of Denver......
  13. Not a fan of Cinda. But I think is is mentioned up thread what the actual schedule looks like for Cinda that Poppy is reviewing earlier in the episode? It is hilarious. Monday - 9am Pitch with Jessica, 11am Lunch with Bettina, 12pm: carb nap, 1pm 2nd lunch with Janelle, 3pm - lunch investor's meeting, 6pm - dinner with loving family Tuesday: 10am - record Only Murderers, 12pm- lunch with Greg, 2pm- Call with investors, 3pm - meeting with new sound guy, 3:30 - late lunch with Bettina, 6pm - dinner with Limbless Leticia. etc ....... very funny.
  14. I am glad there are 4 more episodes remaining to sort all of this out. I have no evidence but something makes me think the glitter Avenger is not the killer and is somehow after information on the painting from Bunny's apartment. (The real painting) I have no evidence here it is just a hunch. I am seeing this stakeout as a red herring in this mystery. I think it is clear that whatever happened to Mabel in the apartment, her blocking it out is some sort of self defense mechanism for whatever there is rolling around in her mind. She definitely has some issues mentally that this murder is touching. IMHO. I just realized how much I love when Oliver gets excited about food. I don't know what it is but the new salsa "awakening" was pretty funny. Also was I the only one feeling for the guy sitting next to him in the DNA office? I thought when they called his name and he stood up that the other patients were going to break out in applause. Lol.
  15. I am convinced that Alice is just using Mabel to further herself in the art world. She sure can paint quick though. I would guess the facility with which she can recreate Mabel's mural in her art studio lends her to be a pretty good art forger? hint hint.
  16. Wow. I mean just wow. This was a great episode. I am loving where this could be going. I think most of you were correct about Cinda but I was surprised at how Cara's character is really messing with Mabel and may have set off the incident on the subway.
  17. Also know that in real life contraband cell phones are rife in some prisons. No doubt smuggled in by prison guards. I just hope Jan can give the trio some real clues into who the murderer is. We have exactly 4 episodes left for them to tie all this up.
  18. I think Teddy was giving off his tell because he was nervous that he was the Son of Sam and didn't want to be found out. I didn't realize how far Oliver and Teddy go back. They had the young Teddy hanging with Oliver back when they were teens.
  19. Well when Teddy said that he was going to fuck Oliver I didn't know that he had already done it. Do you think that Teddy knows that he is ....... I like where the writers are taking this. Also regarding Cara - forgot her name on the show. She had the Son of Sam card in her purse later that night but I thought she was an innocent blonde earlier. Does that mean that Oliver was correct or did she just switch cards and lie about that too? GN all.
  20. WritinMan, I hope you stick with this show as I am watching the second season now. I love both Short and Martin but it took a while for me to come around on Selena Gomez. If it makes you feel any better about him Martin Short's character is hated by just about everyone else but our two other crime solvers and his son. I think this show is well written.
  21. As everyone else is doing I am eagerly awaiting the next episode due to drop at midnight tonight. In the meantime I had a couple of questions to add to LuvMyShows already growing list. 1) How long has Lucy been in the Arconia when we see her meet Charles? The fact that she was in the tunnels makes me think that she could probably get in and use Charles' bathroom etc without him knowing for a few days. 2) What was down the passage that Lucy claimed "was a dead end"? (her "camp" that she has been staying for a few days while spying on residents?) That is all..... one more thing..... Trio maybe it is time to install some cameras in your apartments to catch all of these people who may be waltzing thru on any given night.... Just saying.
  22. We already heard Howard's explanation that it was Nina who gave him the black eye. Do you want to know why she hit him? We don't know that yet. Although Howard would say it is because she is a bitch.
  23. Or of course Bunny could have secretly hidden a message in the bird's sayings to later give out a clue to who killed her. I can't remember why Bunny was coming by the Trio's apartment with the champagne. Maybe she was going to give them a mystery to help her find out whatever was the backstory of whoever she was sitting with at the diner.
  24. iMonrey, Throughout the history of rap music a lot of non rap music has been sampled. They take a small portion of say a drum break from an older song - in this case James Brown's Funky Drummer - and insert it into their own rap song. Usually they did this without paying and sometimes sneakily. The original song is James Brown Funky Drummer - fast forward to the section at 5:35 for the drum break. Then here is Public Enemy - a famous rap group from the late 80s into the early 90s using the drum break from above in the beginning of their song Rebel Without a Pause. The part starts at the 11 second mark. This apparently went on for a while and then after these rap songs became hits the original song writers sued for back royalties from the songs that they originally wrote. Mabel likely listened to modern rap and had heard parts of Charles's melody in the rap song. Paigow - I just now saw that you had provided another example before me. Lol.
