  1. I liked the bit earlier when they are watching the movie and Roy asks Keeley how it went with Jamie. She's like "I fucked it and made it worse." Roy :"Ah shiiiiiiiiii.....iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttt" in soto voice not to disturb anyone. Lol.
  2. Even though I still think I know how this will end it would be kind of cool for them to throw a complete crazy plot at the end. I would love to find out that Beard does not exist and is actually an alter ego of Ted who everyone has been putting up with this whole time.....
  3. I am thinking the trailer incident really didn't happen the way we were shown. It was kind of like that Policeman turning into the guy she killed before. So next week is the season ender? It ought to be a good one. I wish Ted Lasso could get as much done in 30 minutes as this show. I loved the fake out with Mark Wahlberg.
  4. dovegrey I agree with you. I am just waiting for this show to end -hopefully this season. It is not as good as the past. I wonder if that has to do with Bill Lawrence leaving to do his other show? If you had told me after the 2nd season ended that there were 12 more episodes to go and that most would be an hour or longer in length I would have been ecstatic. Now seeing what they have done with the time I realize you should be careful what you wish for. Looking back now I wonder how much of the preciseness of filming during covid contributed in what I think were better stories? Also I wonder how much the delay of season 3 has contributed to my less than stellar reviews? I started watching this show during the middle of season 2 - watched at the beach vacation at that - and was impressed. Now I am thinking that instead of staying up I will just catch the show on Friday when my schedule is more suited. I
  5. This. I have said this before but as awful as Shandy was at least she was doing something. I have not seen Keeley do anything at the new firm except fiddle with her office window, fiddle with the boss and clean up goat poop. When she was with the team she was doing stuff but not since she has left and now her fairy godmother Rebecca has bailed her out again. I bet her first task going forward will be setting up lunches with Rebecca. I know how some people feel about Nate and I am certainly not a fan but how does this guy keep getting back into the Richmond lockerroom? I know the first time he messed with the Believe sign but once everyone knew about that how did he get back in to fix up the locker area? I would have put in extra security to keep him out.
  6. I hate to admit it but I have been kind of fast forwarding thru the Nate parts and some of the Keeley away from the team parts of late. I never did that during the first two seasons. I am simply not particularly interested in their story archs and it seems like a completely different show when their parts are on. Only 3 more episodes left and I think I am ready for this to finally end.
  7. I still don't know what is going on. The fact that his son was fighting with the other kid because the kid was teasing him about not knowing about Call of Duty - a very popular and very violent online video game - lends more to the whole idea that Barry is trying to leave his past behind. Could he have had a kid and then purposely kept that child from anything military or violent like his past life? Is this Barry's fantasy which doesn't seem likely to come true?
  8. Oh wow did anyone mention Jamie's reaction to Ola coming into the locker room to comfort his son in comparison to Jamie's dad's reaction? The look on his face was telling.
  9. I am getting the vibes that Jack is more of a nicer Rupert and the fact that Rebecca ordered dessert and bottles of wine to go (people do that?) makes me think that she knows or suspects it and wanted to take advantage. I am guessing that Barbara - she is the "adult" in the company correct - has seen this all before. The way they make her sort of not nice but still have her in the periphery makes me think so. It is just a hunch. All this goes with my assumption that Keeley and Roy end up back together and she ends up back with the team somehow. I wish they would show her actually doing work. Her friend - while terrible - was at least trying to create something.
  10. That was pretty good. I am embarrassed that I chuckled when Jamie and the bike guy laughed at Roy. The way it came out it kind of felt like that movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid when they had to jump off of the cliff and Redford says that he couldn't swim and Newman tells him the fall will probably kill him.
  11. Can someone please remind me why the hostess has been so rude to Nate? I mean she was hating on him back when he was just shy regular Nate and not the asshole Nate he is now. I remember how she dogged him when his parents were there but I cannot remember the context. I would hate to see Nate come back to Richmond. What would his role be assistant coach? That would mean that everyone was correct and Ted and Beard and now Roy are the worst at coaching this game. I hope that is not the case.
  12. I know they have had better strategies and I think that it was even before Nate became the assistant. But my guess is that with Zava they went straight to "feed Zava the ball" and it worked over the first 6 or so games but now they need a better plan.
  13. OMG! Yes I remember the "stress" dreams I used to get when I started work I would find myself back in college. Mine dreams were I was going to graduate but I suddenly realized that there was a class that I went to once (to get the syllabus ) and then never again thus negating me being able to graduate. I don't tell anyone but tell myself that if I can just speak to the professor and promise to make up the work then I can walk at graduation... I would run and run around campus but never find the class and wake up nervous. Although I do remember one time I did finally find the classroom but when I got there it was a basket weaving class and I was back out running again .......
  14. I usually don't notice stuff like that but I agree here. I can't quite figure out what it is. I guess the actress Juno Temple could have lost weight but I actually think it is the way they have styled her this season. It seems like there are a lot of outfits with pink in them and somehow the way her hair looks always pulled up combined with her really light makeup it just looks different. From the side the combo of her hair up and her makeup makes her neck look longer to me for some reason. (fat old male fan backs away from daring to criticize anyone's looks ...... lol) I am a little down so far. I was happy when they came back with episode 2 but something seems off. Ted seems to just be in the background this year and for some reason his puns are just not hitting. (or maybe they are fewer?) When I think back to past seasons I feel I laughed more at his lines. I am thinking of the time when Roy had that bad game and dunked himself in the trashcan full of ice and Ted mentioned that he looked like Oscar the Grouch or when he and Higgins would trade quips that I thought were clever. I think basically it may be that Ted seemed the center of attention in the past seasons and for some reason this year he seems like a tertiary character and is just there to tie together other people's stories. I am not sure how I feel about Rebecca. I really liked her better when she was the true heel against Ted. The new Rebecca doesn't seem as strong and lately , even though Hannah Waddingham has been killing it acting wise, she seems to caught up in hoping that she can somehow one up Rupert. She has her flashes - as when she went out after Zava but we will see.
  15. She was shook but she held it together this time. I am a little bit worried about how this new guy will treat Richmond but loved when he kept the pen. This episode felt like the Ted Lasso of old and that makes me happy..
  16. Hmm m. I guess I was the only one underwhelmed. It really seemed to drag and certain characters seemed tacked on. (The doctor in a scene which seemed to come from another show. The only high points for me were from the early part with Nate being a dick. Are Ted and Rebecca best chums now or still boss and employee? I hope it picks up next week.
  17. But we know Kreps found out from Poppy from the scene in bed together in his apartment when she told him. I just want to know how Poppy got Bunny over into Mabel's apartment to murder her. We know she didn't stab her in Bunny's own apartment because there was no blood/evidence.
  18. Wait a minute! I always wondered why the two are never seen together.....
  19. I can understand the disappointment folks have in not all loose ends being tied up. I am glad the killer didn't turn out to be some random person like Nina's fiance/husband who we only see in one scene.
  20. I think this was because she was trying to get the next great true crime podcast. Didn't she recommend the Rose Cooper story to Cinda? But when Cinda found out it was about paintings it was a hard pass. I am assuming that Poppy met with her enough to get the "#14 Sandwich added to the menu.
  21. Well I am still a little bit confused. I thought they would show how Bunny was killed that night. Am I to assume that Poppy forced Bunny across the hall to Mabel's apartment to murder her there? Or maybe did Bunny take to the tunnels to try and escape and was caught after she got to the first apartment closest - which must have been Mabel's? I seriously thought that they would show the entire reenactment. Oh well. At least it looks like next season won't be caught up in the current mess in the building and that means a fresh start. Also this is probably dumb but who was the black guy sitting on the couch next to the doorman? Was that supposed to be the Dr Stanley the psychiatrist who takes venmo? If it was he looked like a completely different actor to me. Honestly Howard almost stole the show..... lol.
  22. I felt just the slightest bit underwhelmed. I had completely forgotten about the original Podcast that Cinda was doing that got all of the trio together in the first place. It didn't really get me excited in any way as I always kind of looked at that podcast as completely secondary. I guess the fact that this may reveal that Cinda does anything and everything to get her "stories" to be exciting is a new twist but kind of meh for me. I do want to know how the murder went down, the timeframe and what Lucy has to do with all of this though.
  23. I thought he saw the same watch being worn by the guy in the painting as the one he was wearing. It was a bit of a stretch to be honest. He just happened to look closer and his watch just happened to have the address all of these years?
  24. So who is the pushy woman with brown hair and the glasses? Cinda or Poppy?
