I actually liked the challenge - a Scandi silouette with a colour palette inspired by the flavours (I actually like Höpt) was not a bad start. 'Salted Lychee' and 'Pear & Basil' would've lent themselves to layering different textures of off-whites and cool colours while 'Elderberry & Herbs' and the Watermeldon one could've gone more towards colour blocking and prints. At least thats what I would have done. Sadly the majority of the designs was rather generic and had little to do with Scandinavian design. I liked Benjamin, Beau, Caitlin and Misty; Kerry's was nice too. Nicole, Lenon and Massey's where fugly and sending Nicole home was the right decision

The designs look a lot better in the photographs than they did on the runway. I liked almost all of the looks, including Beau and Matt's. I wasn't keen on Jess & Massey, and what Camille & Peni did has been done in one form or another by other contestants on other PR seasons and it never worked on any unconventional challenge ever.

I think Andreas is a pretty good mentor. He and his critiques are everything Tim Gunn wasn't in the later seasons. He makes - what I feel are valuable - suggestions regarding construction and design. The show/Andreas also explaine the challenges, especially what the do and don't want the designers to do, which I also appreciate as a viewer.

Once again, I liked that that Andreas told them explicitely what they want and what they don't want - it also helps me as a viewer when it comes to the judging. Still, I think the connection to sustainability was not obvious in some designs and in my opinion it was a weak runway (I thought only Kerry, Benjamin and Judy met the red carpet brief) I would have loved for this to be a streatwear or ready to wear challenge rather than red carpet. The joyous prints would've lent themselves better for something more accessible, and the models could've carried the bag-prototypes on the runway too. During the judging, they criticized Benjamin's fabric, but then mentioned, I think it was regarding Beau's dress, that of course there were some budget restrictions. Random thoughts: A team challenge with Kerry and Benjamin - they'll either kill each other or come up with something great. Misty's bag was really cool, I was expecting the judges to tell her that her bag will be produced too. I love all the Pounamu jewellery the designers are wearing. Camille's design process is really interesting. If she had had more time for this challenge, the dress would've been really sharp. I did not dislike the guest judge model this week, but the challenge deserved someone with some knowledge in sustainable design as this was the prominent theme of the week. Please give them a challenge where they must not use solid colour fabric, I need some more prints and patterns!

Very entertaining episode. I like a joke thats carefully built up during the episode and the contest and Jonah's costume culminating in him cheating for his girl Amy was great. It is also lovely to get Halloween episodes where we see lot of different costumes, especially when its a mix between current trends and classics. (I am not American, so the whole Halloween-hype is usually not my thing, but I appreciate a good fancy dress party) I also vote Garrett for best costume!

Maybe its the withdrawal symptoms speaking, but if they ever decide to make an international All Stars with designers from all the other versions, I'd watch it. The Eurovision of fashion.

Although I enjoyed the first two episodes, I had the same feeling this week. So far there is no interesting story that connects the episodes - the Jonah/Amy relationship has not gathered enough momentum yet. I'm sure it will change though once the girls get closer to their due dates. Also, not enough naughty customer scenes this week!

Oh yes. They have just started the first season of PR New Zealand a few weeks ago and I think their mentor is quite good. When they had their first unconventional materials challenge they specifically told them, that it has to be fashion and NOT wearable art. The piece of garment that won that challenge was pretty neat. The group of designers is a bit of a mix talent-wise. I also wondered why TVNZ waited so long to get this show and whether it had something to do with the Lifetime/Bravo rift or if it is merely cheaper now. I also watched Canada, Australia and Project Catwalk (UK) but that was ages ago. The first season in Australia and the two (?) Canadian seasons where not bad. I didn't like the UK version tbh and I remember that one Australian season had some really annoying contestants. I would like to watch the Finnish, Norway or Swedish version and whether the designers manage to produce something recognizably Scandi. Has anyone watched those episodes? I hope Bravo gets a shift on, I really miss the show.

I dunno about that, but lets hope that he's the one to finally give proper advice and feedback on the inevitable avant guarde challenges.

I never liked Dina much, but all her scenes were GOLD in this episode - especially the final scene with her and Sandra. I can't remember a show where the lovey-dovey beginning of a relationship between the OTP happens off-camera and it will be interesting to see what happens with Jonah and Amy once everyone knows they are together.

Those hires are a good sign that Bravoo wants to make it a great show - all 5 have a good background in fashion - and that the will hopefully get equally good guest judges and not just reroute their reality roster. A good career move for Karlie Kloss (if the show goes back to to what it once was), I just hope that BRAVO gives her some coaching. From what I've seen of her on TV before, she really needs it. A question: Would the show still be tied to the Fall/Winter or Spring/Summer FW or are the RTW, Pre-Fall or Resort shows also an option? Just asking because I always thought the summer-slot for the show (with the finale at the FW in September) was a bit unfortunate.

awwww Jonah and Amy. I live for those small scenes in between with customers behaving badly, they are hilarious. And the side-shot of Dina.

If they choose people who have some real credibility in the fashion business - as teacher, designer, buyer, editor, stylist or whatever - I think thats half the battle won already for replacing Zac, Tim and possibly Nina. As for Heidi, I would not mind if they went back to season 1, hiring a presenter who is not a judge aswell. Its a lame example but everybody cried wolf when Bake Off went to another channel and they had to replace 3 out of 4 key personel, the show is as popular as ever. With regards to the challenges I hope they keep them simple - almost so simple that it doesn't matter whether they have menswear, plus size, sportswear, ball gown designers or a Blondes-fanboy in the group. There are surely ways to da that - I remember the challenge from the earlier seasons where all the got was cotton fabric and no other restrictions.

I was so looking forward to this, but now I am underwhelmed. It says something that I think Cheryl Sussman was the most entertaining bit in the episode. Kelsey, who just got super drunk in front of Charles and a slap on the fingers for getting too close tho her author is the new boss? The woman has zero people leading skills (unless you count leading them on). Anyway, their new salaries should enable both Kelsey and Liza to get places of their own now, shouldn't it? I had to roll my eyes at Josh's drug infused dream about Liza - dude, she told you she doesn't want any more kids. And yeah, I'm sure that he is Claire's baby daddy. Diana still doesn't know? (plus everything that @OptimisticCynic said)

I used them too around 2006 and they were a nuisance, because I have a really long name and I had to sign for each and every one of them when I picked them up - and when I returned the ones I didn't need.

Has anyone else watched 'Follow This' on Netflix and thought that Jane would be so much more interesting if she where like the journalists on this show? (its a show about Buzzfeed writers chasing a wide variety of current, and sometimes weird, stories)

It also is probably not an option while the divorce isn't settled. I somehow expect him to sell the business to the Claw-billionaire, thus taking himself out of the Liza-equation.

An 'Capitol Letters' (the book Zane and Kelsey worked on before she got too schmoozey with the author) is already published too!

meh, only a mildly entertaining episode, so much klischee. I knew that Carol would find out about Liza and Charles when I saw the promo and it will not end well. Why would Liza go fraternize with Plaza anyway - that was a snapshot decision. If anything, she should call Jay. Did Zane redeem himself finally? Not sure, if he doesn't land the Scicillian Godfather will he be fired? I would find it an interesting take, if they honed in on the millenials realizing that they are getting 'old' now too - the dinner scene with Josh complaining about hipsters and the episode with Lauren's assistant gave nice hints about that and it would make them more emphatic towards Liza's situation. I liked Carol and Diana singing - but not as part of the episode.
