  1. Not really, they're basically recycling old dialogue from old plots. Years ago Sally Sr would rip off designs, stage the Spectra fashion show, FC would flip out, Eric would call a board meeting, all the Forresters would clutch their pearls, someone would bark "get our legal team on it!" Someone in legal would say they don't have a leg to stand on. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
  2. No one said there wasn't Americans up there, maybe there was an American station and an Everybody Else station. Unfortunately only the Everybody Else station was affected.
  3. Definitely one of my favorite episodes (at least 5 minutes before the ending) and I hadn't realized this. It's interesting but it doesn't bother me at all, at least not as much as the ending.
  4. Well, put your finger on that FF button, because that's all Joy is going to talk about for the next 4 years.
  5. There were a couple of movies that included 3 short stories each, kind of like the Tales From The Crypt movie format. Quartet (1948) Trio (1950)
  6. But the first season was based on Savage Season, this season on Mucho Mojo, wouldn't next season logically be based on the third novel The Two-Bear Mambo?
  7. Neither am I. She dresses well, is impeccably groomed, talks clearly and slowly. No indication yet of any great intelligence.
  8. Absofuckinglutely! I always catch it when it airs on TCM. 'Bolt the door, Maria!'
  9. Getting rid of Whoopi and adding Rosie could never make this shitshow any worse. I would love to see the expression on Rosie's face when Jed starts spouting her big bag of bullshit.
  10. Word! That she was born Myron Spectra? Office? Brooke was raped in her home and still leaves her doors unlocked.
  11. Was EP in it? Playing what part? The only other part I can think of is the role Margaret Colin played, Dan's co-anchor (the gash and a half).
  12. Seriously, isn't watching the source material enough? If they hadn't made their point in the narrative, who cares what they think?
  13. When I heard the baby's name was Grover, I was hoping that was suggesting Riz Ahmed's character (totally forgot his name, I know it's a french name with two words like Jean-Luc, but I totally forget) was involved with the baby's upbringing, even in the most remote sense. I'm glad it was left very vague, not everything needs to be spelled out.
  14. I agree the season was lackluster as a whole, and even though he didn't start out too well, I do think Corey Hawkins got consistently better as the season progressed. I would watch another season with Eric Carter as lead. Bailey Chase was listed as one of the guest stars in the opening credits, yet I didn't see Locke anywhere. Did I miss him?
  15. This scene reminded me instantly of Donna Noble and her memory swipe. I didn't even know that Clara had her own music. Could someone explain to me how the Doctor's memories of Clara were erased? Was it voluntary?
  16. Today show? What media outlet would take her? Maybe some Z-list basic cable station.
  17. Word! All that potential down the drain! I'm back to not watching...although I'll check in here to see what happens. Hopefully Shirley will get caught in a Malibu mudslide.
  18. Just say CBS Sunday Morning profiling Senator Warren, so don't have to tune in for her book peddling. Matthew Dowd is always a delight. I love when an articulate, smart, even-handed political pundit shows up and teaches these idiots a few things. I have to watch Cynthia Nixon for info about the new production of The Little Foxes. I'll be DVRing two episodes this week, that's pretty good!
  19. He'll be trading him in for a younger model shortly.
  20. Isn't it a requirement that they're all drunk?
  21. So far they've only been doing the novels in chronological order, season 1 was Savage Season, season 2 Mucho Mojo. I haven't read any of the short stories, gotta seek them out. And the source material from the second novel was much better.
  22. The Prince's cheekbones, hair and voice reminded of a young Michael York. That's enough reason to watch a second episode. Wasn't his name in the opening credits?
