  1. Normally I would agree with you, but since it involves Ridge, I just can't. Quibble away Eric! Quibble away! I've just had it with three decades of an adult Ridge Forrester sniffing around the most inappropriate women (his brother's wife, his father's wife, his late wife's doctor, his late wife's niece, his wife's sister, his wife's sister, and these are just off the top of my head!) And he did all these as an adult, I can't blame parents for the actions of an adult. I wish Eric would disown him, fire him and kick him off any Forrester properties. Ridge could see if Spectra is hiring.
  2. I'm not a frequent watcher, I check in from time to time, and there's a good chance I could be wrong, but the last I heard, Thorne was working in Europe at Forrester International. And they accidentally ran over Grams Spectra.
  3. That sure does sound like our informed, educated, savvy panel of women. Thank god these imbeciles are on vacation.
  4. Not necessarily so. It just means KB is contracted for that length of time. All soaps have a proviso in actor contracts that dictate production can end a contract at any time for any reason. So the second Brad Bell thinks Sheila isn't working out, she's out. Personally, I hope she works out, I stop FFing when I see her face pop up.
  5. This episode was aired again last night, I had to re-watch the scene with Smurf and Deran. It still chilled.
  6. I love Rena Sofer, but nothing irritates me more than an actor making up for a writing staff's shortcomings by telling the dumb audience what they're missing. If you have to explain plot points and character motivations to a media outlet, your writers are not doing their job! If this story were being written 20 years ago when soaps had ample budgets with which to work, Quinn would have a best friend/sidekick whom she would discuss her feelings, so the audience would be aware of her motivations. Today Quinn walks around the Forrester mansion with her arms folded, staring into the valley, while the actress who plays her explains the plot in the soap press. To quote our Orange Leader "Sad!"
  7. Wow, a contestant who makes it to the final round who actually knows who celebrities are? How refreshing? Also refreshing is she brought up the two best players, Walton and Hardwick. The generic blonde brought nothing, Sherri and Xhibit did better than I expected, but the night's real revelation was... Mike Coulter! Where has this man been hiding all my life? The swagger, the sense of humor, the talent, the voice, the arms! And he graduated from Rutgers! My new man crush is firmly in place.
  8. Same here, but unlike the brothers Cody, I hope Javi dresses fittingly to the high temps of San Diego.
  9. Thanks for breaking that down backformore! You did it much more succinctly than I ever could. Religious beliefs and reason sometimes do not mix.
  10. I agree, Sheila would milk that information for all its worth. Remember the jigsaw puzzle pieces Sheila sent Lauren on Y&R?
  11. I thought when Selina wanted to talk to Mike and Amy, she was going to give them the boot. It was obvious with Mike after seeing him teach, less obvious with Amy.
  12. I could be wrong, but I thought Smurf was making the point that J should know where his gun is at all times. The 'keep shooting' part is because shit is about to go down between Javi's posse and the Cody's. Anywhere would be better than with Baz, Pope or Smurf.
  13. It was kind back in the 80's! It doesn't help that today's 30 year olds do not wear sport jackets and button down shirts like JD, in 2017 they wear t-shirts and skinny jeans with Justin Bieber haircuts!
  14. There's that crack research The View is known for! Did any other idiot on the panel question that statistic?
  15. I don't think it was counted because the church would've found the tracking device that Baz put in an envelope. Right, kids and visitors use cash.
  16. Especially after the security guard realizes Pope was alone in the building jamming up the keyhole. So the church puts all the money, uncounted and unsorted, still in the envelopes, in the safe at night. I would think it would go to a room where money and checks are taken out of the envelopes and sorted. And wouldn't long term members of the church use checks for tax purposes?
  17. I don't think I could take Liam being put at Quinn's mercy again for him to have to thank her for anything, LOL. I didn't mention anything at all about Liam being put at Quinn's mercy, nor did I mention ever Liam thanking Quinn for anything. I was envisioning Quinn circumventing some plot development that could endanger Liam and/or Ivy. Liam or Ivy wouldn't have to know about it. Humility and selflessness are two qualities that could endear Quinn to the TV audience.
  18. Loved this redemption arc, OLTL knew how to write it back in the day. I agree, the B&B writers could easily have Quinn save Liam or Ivy from some impending disaster.
  19. That may be the case, but maybe she's asking for a pay raise, maybe she wants to work four days a week. If popularity were the only criteria, Jed would've been bounced months ago!
  20. Admitting it is the first step!
  21. Soaps have a long history of taking bad girls and transforming them into classic soap heroines. I've seen it happen with Raven Whitney, Bobbie Spencer, Karen Wolek, Donna Beck and yes, Rachel Cory. What all these characters have in common is after all their misdeeds, they all went through a period where they suffered, so the audience could see them atoning for their sins. Only after this atonement can they transform into heroine status. This storyline with Sheila will be Quinn's atonement, I believe. Sheila has always operated long term operations on her enemies (poisoning, gaslighting), her plans for Quinn should be very interesting. It's almost as if the writers said 'how can we normalize this crazy bitch?' and the answer was 'we get a crazier bitch' with the solution being 'see if Kimberlin Brown is available!'.
  22. That last scene is giving me life! In the courtyard, two adversaries both with histories of crazy behavior, one reformed, one not so much. Threats, more threats, a shove with a shoulder and then an icy glare. Wow, I haven't been this excited about the show in a while.
