The Master vs Master special -- didn't agree with the winner and didn't think any of the tattoos were standouts, but that canvas? Hell yeah. How many people have we seen shake, cry, swoon, scream, groan, puke, sweat, or quit getting just one tat? Hats off to spread eagle bike rider babe.

Thanks! I haven't bothered to rummage around online and trust people's opinions here more than "news" outlets, anyway.

So Chris seriously, seriously -- no, SERIOUSLY -- doesn't expect anyone to know who the fuck he is. Except when they should.
-
He did some spoofing by taking it to the extreme with the white-cloud Tier 3 stuff and all. The premise got a couple of of commiserating snorts out of me. What I could do without is his screwy neighbor becoming a semi-regular.

Did anyone listen to Obama on WTF?
-
Well, yeah. I was probably grasping at straws to rationalize why the panelists would react sooo unprofessionally.

Thinking about it, I'm not sure the experts were pressuring Jaclyn, exactly. They focused on her because she's the one who kept repeating that she already tried and Ryan wasn't interested. Ryan -- per usual -- didn't say squat, so by his silence made it seem like he was willing to give it another try. I cannot believe this guy has a successful career in real estate, which isn't a field for dishrags. He currently has six listings. Be interesting to know if any of those clients sought him out because of the show.

I'd like to see them try! No, really. Call Gloria Allred. None of the guys have two beans to rub together, but it would keep this topic lively. ;)

MAFS Social Media, Spoilers & Speculation

Exactly! A backhanded stoop is still a stoop, Ranellone. But yeah. All participants, all seasons, need to shuttie on social media. That includes the experts. If they only want to hear from fans with positive comments, set up a personal, invitation-only forum. I suspect Sean's would consist of his parents, Cilona, and Levkoff. -
It did occur to me that he wasn't on hold nearly long enough.

MAFS Social Media, Spoilers & Speculation

Yeah, yeah, Jaclyn we all saw it. I'm starting to wonder what her damage is for even being attracted to such a wet noodle. Why expend so much effort trying to make it work with him, really? He never reciprocated or put himself out, from the honeymoon on. He didn't push for sex and only grudgingly went along when she made the move -- huge red flag, Jaclyn! Who knows how open he really was with her about his lack of interest -- in being with her and in having sex with her -- when they were together, but at least seeing all his confessionals and the extent of his whining must have made it easier for her to pack up whatever residual fondness she had for him. She must be a hell of a sales rep, what with the upbeat persistence and all. -
I was crackling along with Chris for the real doll breakup line: "It's not you, it's Windows M.E."

Pass, Melissa. I never much liked her when she was a fill-in panelist but my distaste has grown.

There wouldn't be any reality shows if this was a rule. :) I'm not sure that casting a pristine angel would work for this. Finding one is impossible, anyway. We all have baggage and how our own rubs against someone else's is interesting to watch. Nothing on that list would be automatic disqualifiers if I was matchmakiing. Even Ryan D's hair-trigger temper might not have been as big an issue if he had been paired with someone less meek and insecure.

So it looks like Epstein comes out of this with his dignity intact. Dr. Schwartz has shown sincere empathy and concern, plus she has decades of experience managing her public image and seems able to be "haters gonna hate" about it. OTOH, Cilona and Levkoff haven't done their careers any favors. Too late to recast all the quacks for Season 3, but Kinetic should examine their knobby, pickled hearts if they hope to continue this mess past Atlanta.

I'm loathe to take sides in this because it's a matter of shoveling horseshit vs chickenshit, but the way Cilona made excuses for Sean while challenging Davina on everything made me sympathize with her by default.

Tiny Houses Ad Nauseam (Except Tiny House Nation)

The NYC episode was careful to include the phrase "furniture included," but if that wasn't already their apartment, I'll eat one of the tall guy's drag wigs. -
Here's what I'm the target market for: fully prepared meals delivered. I used to be -- no exaggeration because they told me -- the biggest customer Casserole Queens had. I moved out of Austin and they discontinued home delivery, but it was nice while it lasted. I supplemented them with Chinese food and pizza deliveries. ;)

It still comes back to the experts' utter incompetence and professional failings in casting and matching these goons in the first place.
-
It seems to me that the location decision for Sean/Davina was a straw man argument. They both knew when they got back from the honeymoon that their match was a horrible mistake and neither was then willing to put themselves out to compromise in any way for someone they basically didn't even like.

It was interesting to hear Brenda talk about not having more children -- I had wondered because after Jada there were more years without a new baby than there ever had been before. I assumed they had decided to stop. Sad news about Mary and Jair. I feel for him because his happiness was so palpable during the proposal episode. But dang, they're so young. Maybe there's hope for the future.

I dip in and out of this show -- what's the story about last year's winner? He's apparently roundly despised here, but didn't he win by audience vote?

Tiny Houses Ad Nauseam (Except Tiny House Nation)

The two men wanting a pied-à-terre in NYC weren't the most annoying I've seen, but the tiny one looked like a turtle with that bulky wool scarf looped around his neck and skinny head poking out. I could have done without the 3-act play entitled "Where On Earth Would We Eat?" The first apartment with the dining table on pulleys -- whaaa? Just fold up the legs and tip it up against the wall. NYC has so many tiny apartments it could be a series all by itself. I really liked the prefab house the Washington State couple was going to move onto the island. -
There must be an entire back story or comedic history with Dave Hill that I missed. I don't care enough to look him up, but I never get his jokes. Is he a performance artist? He is gay? Not gay but likes to pretend he is? Leaves me cold.

Ha! I may have rolled my eyes at a couple of her millennial remarks but thought the article was interesting overall. Do that many young people really not know how to cook these days? I'm not sure about the hand-wringing over "assembling" food vs cooking it, but I'd never considered that family recipes and ethnic specialties are no longer being passed down. She did lose me over her dismay about spice packets perhaps being "processed food," but then, I'm the type of cook who sometimes uses powered cheese in casseroles because I think it bakes better. And the type who makes casseroles. :)
