Seth is playing the villain role that the producers gave him. Nobody acts like that, as soon as they get a promotion, he's going to try to antagonize his co-workers. As for Jess and Faye, Jess doesn't want to make food for her stupid picnics. The guests barely ate the sandwiches that Faye had her make. And it wasn't because the crisps were missing that they didn't want to eat in the damn cold and rain, on uncovered benches in the middle of nowhere. She saw that the guests were hungry now and those cracker appetizers weren't going to hold them. All she could do is make cold food for the picnic, unless they were willing to take propane stoves or something, out into the cold. Hint, it often gets cold and rainy suddenly in Norway. So she offered something hot, like melted cheese or pizzas and the guests wanted. Who's preferences are the number one priority, the guests or the annoying Chief Stew? As for rooming assignments, I don't see any rule that Chief Stew decides rooming assignments. I thought the chef was above the Chief Stew in the hierarchy. In any event, if Jess and Kasie don't want to room with Faye and Oriana, they should be forced to because Faye didn't bless the switch? Jess is apparently some kind of nutritional coach and guru in addition to being a chef. She must have decided to do this show just to get more exposure. Well she got exposed to Faye and she might as well have them take this job and shove it. Who wants to put up with Faye constantly needling them all day with that aggravating voice? Probably not going to help her sell her services or get new gigs to put up with her bull.

The guests wanted the pizza now, not later. They were wolfing down those crackers with fish and crab so Jess offered to make something hot, because they were about to go outside to the cold to ride horses. But Faye couldn't stand it. Jess probably realizes "why am I putting up with this BS?" Yeah she's lost all respect for Faye, doesn't even want to be civil to her. "That's yachting babe." Faye admits she overreacted -- cried -- about the damn crisps. But she's right back to that domineering personality. Oh and she had Oriana and Kasie put up their hair. But no red lipstick to say goodbye to the guests or welcome the next guests. You know Seth was coached up to alienate the others. Now they got knives out for him, as soon as he messes up.

No there's definitely a personality class between the two women. Camille being a slacker didn't help. But it gets personal when Alissa referred to her diseased snatch or something like that.

Bravo going to make sure to air footage of Camille dancing around in bra and panties before she’s canned. yeah that’s a pricey bottle of Veuve Cliquot but Bravo will gladly foot the bill if it loosens up the crew to act out on camera. Alyssa outraged that her share of the tip is only $1500 for 2-3 days of work — it’s usually been in the $1700-1800 range. Yeah she did have to stay up late and clean up after those sloppy drunks. WTH were they going on about Gucci and some other designer? What more is there to say about about Camille and Alyssa? Both awful, nice bodies. Sandy isn’t allowed to fire anyone until the producers say so. She delegates to Fraser to make him pulled into the drama. I would bet in the not so distant future, one one of these BD shows, that crew members will be screaming at each other, if not getting a little physical. And neither cast member will be fired over it. Don’t they already have these kinds of confrontations happening on other Bravo shows all the time?

Ok I think it premiered on linear tonight so I’m not going to spoiler tag it. Reason it feels so different — not nearly as many eye-rolling moments for me — is that they have a new Showrunner. The original guy was Peter Moffat, who came up with the idea to adapt an Israeli show and set it in New Orleans. He left and they hired a new guy. I guess Michael spilled everything and didn’t want to live after dumb Adam got killed. He implicated his friends in the cover up and the rigging of the trial so he will have to cooperate with Olivia — Rosie Perez. Michael might have been more open to cooperating if Olivia didn’t have that shit-eating grin when they met — why would Michael care about her biography? Gina is still blood thirsty and she can get Carlo to charge in idiotically. But I don’t buy that Fia wouldn’t have some ruthlessness of her own or that Baxter would be philosophical about violence. Fia really was as naive as Adam. They would have been perfect for each other. She has to know if Adam really loved her! Why didn’t she lead with telling Michael “I’m the mother of your grandchild.” Well Eugene will turn up again. Mo may not want to hand over a black boy to the police or to Irish mobsters but they’re going to find out what she did. It’s not clear how Michael will help take down Baxter, who should be suspicious about Michael being released. Plus he could implicate Baxter in the whole trial giving. It can’t be something like him wearing a wire could it? Baxter will avoid seeing Michael or have him killed. Also no reason Michael would try to get close to Baxter other than the feds flipped him.

Never played the game, didn’t get around to it. I was riveted though this feels like a video game story, things spinning out of control fast, the way the plot unfolds is to give adrenaline rush over and over. I hope the Chernobyl guy tones some of it down. But other apocalypse stories also show civilization falling apart in a few days or weeks. Station 11 was like that though the characters hid in that apt. Building or that small airport where nobody bothered them. Charter motivations are pretty simple, Joel lost Sarah and he didn’t want to re-live that with some soldier holding a gun at them, though he hasn’t really bonded with Ellie yet. I didn’t realize that was Thandie Newton’s daughter but now I can un-see the resemblance. Bella Ramsey also has distinct British accent but she can speak American English well.

I think she loved Shane. This trip is where her eyes were opened to what he could be like. Weren't they suppose to be fairly recently married? It's not like she's been living with his awfulness for several years before they came to Hawaii.
-
True, she should look to make more money. But she did talk about struggling financially for years. I forget the details but she'd worked as a journalist, not for some big publication but lower level, and it was not very well-paying. Ultimately that experience may have caused her to stay with the husband.

I think I predicted somewhere that Leroy would be back, at least in the seniors tour. Problem is I don't even remember half these names. Well I may recognize the name but can't associate with a face. This show has been around too long or I've been watching too long.

I haven't watched and don't know if I will. But how can you have a modernized and more diverse Scooby gang without Scooby Doo?

House Hunters International - General Discussion

Ontario to Costa Rica. Young couple, quit their jobs in Canada and moved, was living with some friends but she becomes pregnant and they have to look for homes. They don’t have to commute so they look at some homes which are far from towns. They notice the roads, realize that they don’t want to risk driving through muddy roads in poor weather. I think it was a key Reason they eliminated the first property. They complain that property #2 is right next to neighbors but in the end choose it over the more secluded #3 despite the great views. They say they started an online business in the 3 moths after segment so they both work at home. They don’t say what that business is. They didn’t say what kind of work they did back in Canada or maybe I missed it. I suspect they’re getting family money. They had a fairly high budget compared to other CR episodes. -
Inside Passage of Alaska - really beautiful, glaciers, whales, bald eagles. Sam’s family is along and her kids convey the most joy in the things they see and do. Not a place I would be too interested in visiting. The glacier cruise was spectacular but I don’t know about doing it for 9 hours. They hooted about the glaciers breaking off and falling into the water but it’s a sign of climate change. Actually they said not long ago, the waters they were cruising was frozen over.

First casting news for the Frasier reboot: https://variety.com/2023/tv/news/frasier-sequel-series-paramount-plus-cast-nicholas-lyndhurst-1235488911/ So this Brit actor will probably play the biggest role other than Frasier himself? His character will no doubt be compared to Niles and Martin.

Horacio would be even more likable if he does only a few more seasons, win at least once and then stopped doing The Challenge, not keep coming back for 7, 8, 9 or more seasons.

Season 9: Speculation, Rumors, Spoilers, and Other Omens

Question is, who's going to step up to bring the drama, now that Kathryn is gone? Who's most likely to cause shouting arguments at a minimum? Craig was a little shit last season but Leva presumably won't come back since she has her own show? Or maybe that bombs and she comes back with her tail between her legs but the restaurants she and her husband own are suppose to be wildly popular so she doesn't need Bravo money. Or are they going to give a greater role to Madison again, since she's a shit-stirrer herself? Shep can also be a loud asshole so that's another potential candidate for the Kathryn Dennis chair. But they don't see themselves as villains whereas Kathryn didn't GAF that she was a villain and tried to gaslight people into believing that she wasn't the awful person everyone could see that she was. -
He's on the boat to work, not to train. But my guess is the producers encouraged him to do this workout and got camera crews to film him at 4 AM. So it's a dubious story line for the show. The entitlement, how pissed off that he can't work out. We've seen that on other BD shows like Benny wanting to have fun on BDDU or even this season, Camille going for swims.

Jay Ellis appears to be the lead in a new rom com movie coming on Amazon Prime, opposite Allison Brie. I can't even recall if Issa and Lawrence ended up together or not.

Never been on OF but seen some video clips. Has anyone made money on OF without at least doing nudity? Well maybe minor reality show celebrities will get lemmings to give her money, just because. -
If one were cynical, one might say that elimination was designed to make sure Fessy and Moriah make it through. That one was purely for size and strength. Kaycee did okay but Kenny couldn't hold up and it looked too heavy for Jordan and Aneesa. Other than the fear factor and the atmospheric night shoot, the Daily was blah. The elimination between Jordan and Horacio was pretty good. Horacio may not even be familiar with American football but he had a football move on that first one and he adopted a very good strategy, make Jordan commit first and then counter. Soccer players can move on their feet all day too. So there are 5 pairs now including Fessy/Moriah. A sixth pair will be either Jordan and Aneesa or Kaycee and Kenny. Looks like after one of those pairs are eliminated, they're going to eliminate at least one more pair so they will have 5 pairs in the Finals, with the top 3 getting any money. Of course the top pair gets like 95% of the money.

Does she have enough IG followers to make some kind of living that way? -
Yeah that's the poisonous working atmosphere in real life, especially one the supervisor/manager is involved in the bullying. But it's perfect for a Bravo show because of the drama!
-
I don't get not having Scooby. They could make Shaggy a stoner and Scooby a horn dog. Get it?

Yeah I’m no fan of adventure sports. But you can enjoy the views more on the helicopter or even the cable car when they went paragliding. The real popular thing in the fjords are hiking, which can be very challenging and take all day. Or there are some trains which go up some steep tracks. Then you take boat rides to return. That’s how Norway in a Nutshell tours are set up. https://www.norwaynutshell.com

I mean Thomas can hire nannies or baby sitters. Kathryn might have some dodgy people hanging out at her place. Even if she has a place. Kathryn could be drinking a lot or getting high, plus she has the shitty personality and attitude when she was getting those Bravo paychecks, how is she going to be now? Probably going to be full of grievance.
