I usually fast-forward through the BS in the beginning after I find out what kind of nonsensical jobs can afford $1 million house but anyway. Did they say why she needed this therapy dog? When I first saw the dog going into the house I said, how freaking rude bringing a dog into someone else’s home. And yes, it did seem like the dog did not want to be there. Also, if three generations are to be living in the house, why are the grandparents not putting in a penny? I don’t know about living together like that in one place. I certainly would not do it.

Out of Africa was also very good.

I think she’s going to need that money for a new house. Insurance companies, being the thieves that they are, the payout probably won’t cover a new one.

Just watched the first three episodes. It’s entertaining enough. Love Brad Garrett. Patricia Arquette is great as usual. Matt Dillon had aged well but Holy cow what happened to Bernadette Peters face?!

I wondered about the Cipro. One of the most dangerous antibiotics out there with doctors still prescribing when something else could be used. I have had to tell my doctor no on more than one occasion.

Did not like this one. There was a doc on her a while back that was better. I’ll have to watch this one again because I was getting bored and drifting off. One thing that sticks in my mind is in the beginning how she grabbed her little daughters arm and flung her to the piano. The kid looked pretty scared. I’d rather hear the recordings than the live performances so this was a turn off for me.

I got the feeling that she liked the fact that it was far out from her aunts house! Hated her too. I would have definitely thought long about that Eichler house, although they sure as hell didn’t show enough of it. If the only living room is that tiny space off the kitchen that would be a no go, but the house was so large where the heck was the rest of it? My husband said the Eichler house look like a bunch of trailer homes piled on top of one another😂

I must have missed this explanation in the series, but how is Candy, a murder suspect, not in custody? In all the police dramas, murder mysteries I’ve seen, the person arrested for suspicion of murder is jailed .

I was wondering that too about Mike Hagerty‘s brother. So sad how he died. Anyone know why the actual name of the antibiotic that killed him is not being published? I’d really like to know! I know big Pharma is incredibly powerful, but in all my research, I haven’t even seen the name of the medicine in print, just “antibiotic”.

Well, if that long island iced tea was that sweet then the bartender made it wrong. I’ve downed way too many in my day, and there should only be a splash of sweetness. They are strong, strong, strong. But yes, I don’t believe Dan would have not passed a breathalyzer test and why the hell didn’t that cop give him one? And that was a real prick cop thing to do to even arrest him for sitting behind the wheel after drinking. He could’ve given him a warning and made them both call an Uber if they did not pass the breathalyzer test which again he did not give. Abuse of power. Mark is a little entitled little bastard. When his date mentioned to Darlene that he was working in the cafeteria to pay off student loans and I thought to myself oh, that’s what your son should be doing. And you should be working at the better job that you had instead of working in the cafeteria when you don’t have to. Because there’s someone out there who actually needs that job. Makes no sense she didn’t take the high paying job, and Mark did not get a student loan.

I feel for you. I lived for over 20 years in a 160 year old fixer upper before my husband even started fixing! I never had people over. I was depressed , it was hard. . We spent oodles of money& live in an area where home prices are only higher in certain areas. I understand. We did a lot of work to our ancient formerly neglected home. We used quality materials & bought quality fixtures. We still have some projects. If we ever sell, I’d have to stress to the realtor that “this light was made in usa & cost this much, this cabinet cost this much, etc etc”. Oak cabinets sound great! Can you change the hardware to update? I lived for decades with cruddy pressed wood cabinets. It gives me anxiety to remember how bad this place looked. But we were not entitled or wealthy & never got an inheritance . Sometimes even hard working honest people are prone to bad luck financially. It took way too long, and now I have to hope we can stay living on 2 floors in a rural area as we age. House hunters just pisses me off. It’s not just the younger ones who are entitled or out of touch. I feel like the wealthy are just taking over. Those of us who worked, are retired & do not have close to a million in savings & life insurance are invisible. But that’s America. I’d vote for whoever went after the credit card companies for their mafia like interest rates.

Picnic? I don’t get what was so great about it or why the lead character was supposed to be so disliked. I felt sorry for him. The beginning of the dance on the dock was cringeworthy. Did people actually do that? And another negative. Was Kim Novak considered beautiful or sexy because in this movie at least , she couldn’t have looked cheaper. Not a great face or profile. And William Holden was only 37? Nice bod, but rough looking. Geez, guess I have issues with the movie & cast. Maybe I’m feeling grumpy. I recently watched Sullivans Travels again & could not finish it either. Have to go find a great classic & cleanse myself.
