  1. Zach was my favorite. He seemed like a normal person. With everyone having issues with their dishes, it seems incredulous we are this close to the finale.
  2. My issue with the judging on this show is that there's only 1 judge. There has to be a reason every other show has at least 2 judges and most have 3.
  3. Was he "their" son? Alvin kept saying his son and Melissa never mentioned the boy. She seemed a bit giggly for someone who just lost a child. And it was never clear exactly how many kids there were. The houses were all nice. People are going to be flocking to Jacksonville for the affordable real estate.
  4. I thought they kept saying the boys. So I was really curious as to who the bikinied young lady was at the end. And where she was sleeping since the picked the 2 bedroom house.
  5. That's where I knew her from! I thought it was her episode of Chopped.
  6. When I was a kid, my mother would buy spearmint leaves covered in sugar. Was that the American version of pate de fruits? I thought the safety bake was a really hard challenge. And how much time did they save only tasting 5 instead of 6 dishes? Just eliminate them walking around and they could fit it in. Will they just say goodbye to Ashlee already? She's been in the bottom forever.
  7. Gloucestershire, England. I love the history of England too, but I wouldn't need to have it in my home. Nice for Kam to admit on camera that charm may not be practical. I'd take the place next to the royal estate because how often would you get that chance? Just 1 bath would be a deal breaker for #3. Can't get over how much better Duncan looks now than when he was young.
  8. Yay, Jonathan! I wish they'd bring Todd back. He was easy on the eyes. Maybe they're not doing the huge displays because they don't use the assistants anymore.
  9. The husband does not have a future as an actor. Thought for sure they were picking #3.
  10. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. She looks older than he does. These places are really modern. I don't think there's a bad choice.
  11. Topsail Beach, NC. How many kids? Good grief. How did she climb to the top of the corporate ladder with all that maternity leave? They want to be beachside but not have the house on stilts? A hurricane could wash them out. David's spit take when hearing 1.6 million was hilarious. Could someone make a meme out of that?
  12. Siem Reap, Cambodia. Cute kid but I'm not fond of mama bear. My child needs space! We can do a drinking game with either "space" or "pool". I agree with Kyle, just get a place and after you've gotten jobs, you can get a better place. You don't hear him bitching if a place doesn't have a gym.
  13. Cincinnati, OH. Ugh, nose rings and an ugly neck tattoo. Oh, big, fluffy dog. I'll keep watching. The neighborhood they drove through to get to the row home did not look ... lived in. I saw boarded windows and for sale signs. Good, they didn't pick it. Kitchen in #3 looked smaller than their rental. But otherwise that seemed like a nice house.
  14. Aw I wanted chef Symon to win. The dishes all seemed very creative. The judge was very persnickety. I preferred last year's bartender. Glad this show is back.
  15. I won't miss Brian. He seemed full of himself. Glad you pushed yourself but this is a team competition at this point. Can you imagine trying to do octopus on Ann or Bobby's team? They would have shut him down pretty quick. Brooke had to come over and be a surrogate captain questioning the octopus choice. This show really demonstrates that Sunny is not quite of the same caliber as the others. She's there because she makes Bobby laugh. And then she goes and wins with green beans. SMH.
  16. These were some good twists tonight. Production doesn't seem as interested in keeping up the pretext that they're on Mars. Cat made the right decision from my perspective but I want to hear her reasoning. How does she think that decision will help her game? Because from her perspective, I think she made the wrong choice.
  17. The one thing I don't like is not all of the bakes are tasted in the first round. The judges could be missing out on a great tasting dessert just because it didn't look arresting.
  18. Pete with his made up noise had Steve rolling. And Jared was gracious enough to keep the joke going. The Housewives reinforced why I don't watch their shows. What idiots.
  19. That was unique. A nice couple but I couldn't stand her voice. Not sure I would have picked that one. Take the first house with its original details and put it on the property of #2. I nodded off a bit so didn't see #3.
  20. Melbourne, Australia. What a cute baby! Lucas is so much fun. They are looking at some nice places. I think Laura is wearing the pants. She probably didn't want to work as much anyway.
  21. Waterfront in Parker, Arizona. Didn't see that coming. Scott swallowed hard when she said 2 million. House #1 was pretty dated and the neighborhood was quite congested. #2 was a good size in a good location. The tile in the kitchen was not psychedelic but it was too much. Glad they were able to overlook it to get a great house.
  22. Wendy was shown in a scene from an upcoming episode.
