S12.E11: Love Him and Leave Them
BrownBear2012 replied to OnceSane's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
Apparently Skinny Girl isn't doing too well. Personally, I would prefer not to see her back and would like to see a total reboot and new people. She did not return this season because she wanted more money and Bravao said enough is enough. She's always about the money. -

None of us know the inner workings of their relationship...I've heard from people that have seen them together say that Scott is very protective of her in public and affectionate. I'm sure there will be a prenup...I don't have a crytal ball so I cannot say whether their marriage will last or not but I, for one, wish her well and happiness. I think her marriage will last longer than LuAnn's to Tom...ha ha! I would find a mix of younger and older more interesting than a majority of older divorced non housewives... -

I agree with much of what you said...she seems to be all Southern sweet and nice but then she'll rip Tinsley apart, chew her up and spit her out and then smile. She loves Sonja more than her own daughter...maybe Tinsley was more of a Daddy's girl and Dale resented that...I don't know but she is definitely not a supportive loving mother. For heaven's sake she couldn't even be happy for Tinsley moving on and taking her relationship with Scott to the next level...it seemed like she was disappointed that she was no longer going to be hanging out with Sonja and the gang. Dale needs to move on with her life and do something with women her own age. -

I have a slightly different take on this...I think that Tinsley is inately a kind person who isn't prone to being down in the dirt nasty to someone. Dorinda knows this and that is why she picked on her...not a fair fight. Also, Tinsley has low self esteem. Bullies always scent out the person who is weaker and has low self esteem for abuse. When Dorinda rides up on someone who is her equal...someone who can take it and dish it out...then she's at a disadvantage. Off topic...I read in the paper yesterday that Bethenny is trying desparately to get back on RHONY. Her Skinny Girl schlock isn't selling as well and she needs to be more visible and get some product placement going. Will Bravo cave and allow her back on to shill her Skinny Girl stuff on the show? Stay tuned.... -

They need some younger blood on there...at least get a few new faces and maybe some that are actually married. As it is now, its just a gaggle of horny 50 something divorcees. And their lives aren't even interesting. Watching Sonja launch another failed business isn't my idea of entertainment, or LuAnn acting like she's some sort of Broadway legend is just sad...as for Ramona, she brings absouloutely nothing to the table except inappropriate behavior in public and bragging about what she owns and who she knows. Dorinda is just a nasty, mean spirited bitch...Time for a reboot Andy Cohen. -

How long before she's dumped by this group and is doing ads for Century 21 real estate? Actually, Tinsley might actually want to have a PRIVATE love life and not chat to the whole world about what's going on. Scott is a midwestern guy...he's not a New York wheeler and dealer...they must have agreed to keep their relationship private. Good for them...at least someone on this trashy show has some dignity and class. -

I wouldn't go see Lu if the show was free...I can't thjink of anything more pathetic than seeing untrained and untalented wannabe singer perform cheesy songs and "blue" comedy. Sad. Leah. -

After watching these four hags mock Tinsley, ignore Tinsley and then talk out loud about her in a most hideous way, I've decided that if the show doesn't outright fire them I'm done after this season. Dorinda's horrendous jab at Tinsley about using a turkey baster for getting pregnant with her frozen eggs was beyond the pale. Dorinda is a horrible person. There is nothing redeeming about her. She has zero compassion or empathy. She's mean and is a bully. She should be fired...which leads me into why this show needs a full on overhaul. The old hags need to be fired...Ramona, LuAnn, Dorinda and Sonja. There is nothing to watch except them bullying, getting drunk, and plugging whatever stupid project they are involved in. Projects that mostly fail (I'm looking at you Sonja) or are just boring like LuAnn's caberat act...the way the guys who work with her on the act fawn over her is embarrassing. Really guys? You think she's the next Barbra Streisand? Ha Ha!!!! NOT! Tinsley was smart...she left town and moved on. Scott was smart for staying off the show and not being a part of the mess. And Tinsley was wise to quit, start over in Chicago and have a private life! Also, it's good for her emotionally to get away from her overbearing, passive aggressive mother. Honestly, could her mother be any more tone deaf? She really thought Sonja was a "great" friend for letting Tinsley stay there and treated her well? OMG! She didn't see how Sonja bitched and moaned constantly about Tinsley not being grateful, for asking her intern to do her favor (she really went off on that one) or for going out with friends and not inviting her along...Sonja was acting like a petulant brat and even complained when Tinsley threw her a party and gave her a nice gift that it wasn't enough and that Tinsley wasn't sincere. I swear these women are the worst. And even when Tinsley was telling them the news, Sonja was sarcastic and chiming in with her nasty remarks with the other hags. Tinsley can tell them all to kiss her ass. -
I think it's been established that Thomas is a paranoid schizophrenic...not bipolar.

As far as I'm concerned, MTV did us all a favor by pulling this stupid special. Also...I agree that MTV needs to be consistent in firing people. Amber should have been fired for her abusive behavior and arrest...enough. Hopefully, Corey will get fired or just leave. They might have to sell their Jaguar and get a Toyota now that their reality TV careers appear to be finished.

Didn't watch because I quit watching him months ago...glad I did! I just don't have any patience for this kind of debate from people who refuse to acknowledge the seriousness of this virus. Bill is an anti-vaxxer and believes that everything can be cured by eating nuts and seeds. Maybe he should have some regular people on the show who are on the front lines of this epidemic and have actual experience in dealing and caring for the sick people who have the misfortune of getting this disease...Bill has turned into someone who would be unrecognizable to the Bill Maher of 2004. He has said this on other shows...he's quite radical. Earlier this year he gave a speech where he encouraged people to NOT vote.

S12.E10: Something's Brewing

No they didn't...at least I didn't see them or hear them make any remarks about their looks. Leah and Sarah are younger and don't need to undergo massive cosmetic procedures at the moment. Some women go overboard...Khloe Kardashian is unrecognizable with all the work she's had done...it's almost disturbing. -

Tinsley just needs to tell Dorinda to go eff herself...and for good measure add "you old hag". -

A few thoughts: This franchise is done. Watching the same old thing every Thursday night is boring and predictable. Sonja and Ramona looked like asshats at the restaurant. Nothing wrong with older women with younger men but their alcohol fueled drunken aggressive behavior at the bar last night was pathetic. Clearly they lack any insight into how bad they look when they launch into their MILF over the top "flirting". It is gross...I'm sorry, Ramona is just wacko. Name dropping her house in the Hamptons, blowing Tinsley off and ignoring her...it's hard to watch. If anyone did this to Ramona at one of her soirees she would be carrying on all night about them being rude and thoughtless. These women do not respect Tinsley at all...she should quit this mess of a show especially after Dorinda's horrendous bullying last night...where to begin with that one! Friends in Toronto and at Niagra Falls spying for Dorinda?? It's no one's business who she dates or has lunch with...what is her obession with Tinsley's love life? Why does she care so much and why is she stalking her? It's sick...Dorinda won't stop until she beats this girl down. And all of these women who have been dumped by their husbands for younger, prettier women want to see Tinsley in a heap on the floor. These women giving her romantic advice is laughable. -

What a d bag he is...he sounds like Phyllis Schlafly with his diatribe about women . He'll be divorced within five years. -

Here here!!!! These women aren't housewives...none of them are even married. Hey Bravo...time to change up the cast and actually hire women who are housewives and are under the age of 50. Bethenny worked a deal out with Bravo that allowed her to promote Skinny Girl on the show with product placements or through Skinny Girl events. That's how bad they wanted her back. -
OMG!!!!! Those thighs and that ass need their own zipcode.
-
She barely graduated...it isn't exactly Harvard...just sayin'.
-
She didn't shed a tear and was very matter of fact on the drive home...I think it was just about the sex for both of them.

Was this the season finale? I too was stunned that Amber was allowed to park right in front of the airline boarding area...I haven't been able to do that since 9/11. Ryan is just a waste of space. All he does is complain about Maci, put his own son down and criticize him. He is remarkably completely void of any emotion or love towards his two children with Mackenzie. She's always the one holding them, feeding them, etc. He shows more love and affection towards his dog. Everyone enables this guy and allows him to be the sloth he is. Mackenzie saying she wants Bentley to be a normal child and not have the weight of the world on his shoulders??? Say what bitch?? She should keep her yapper shut and not make any comments about Bentley or Maci. These two are the most miserable people on this franchise. Cate and Tyler disgust me. They don't have jobs but they are discussing having another child? Not only that, Tyler is outwardly, in front of his daughters, vehemently voicing his desire for a boy...no more girls. That was disgraceful. And what's with his dumb ass mother practically begging for them to have another child and saying it should be a boy...even putting it out there they get "gender" selection...OMG...I have yet to see them, this season, do a thing with Vaeda...she's always sitting in her high chair away from the table...Tyler never holds her or does a thing with her. Enough of these two...they are just a waste of time. Cheyenne and Cory: A lot of side boob and front boob...good grief. Cory really thinks he's the shizz doesn't he? Taylor seems very needy....also, she cries a lot. Mackenzie seems like a good person but she whines a lot and needs professional help in the grieving process. Forget about your husband being able to help you girl...he's just blank. You owe it to your kids to get help and get through this rough period in a healthy way. I wonder what phony storylines the producers will concoct for next season.
