It sounds like more and more he's morphing into someone who should be on Fox News if he's expressing the whole the "thinning of the herd" opinion that was expressed over and over again by Hannity and others on Fox. I couldn't beleive that I was actually hearing these people right, like the Lt. Governor of Texas, when they said it would be a good thing that older people should die and let the younger, stronger people survive... but Bill is now embracing this Nazi like view of human life??? Wow...just wow. I guess when you lead a life with no one to share it with and are devoid of having love in your life, except a love of weed, this is what happens.

OMG! Is that what he said??? He didn't say all those ageist jokes when Bernie was in the picture...in fact, he told Bernie that people were being ageist towards him! And he will be whining that no "liberals" or Democrats will go on his show come this Fall...do you blame them? His dislike of anyone under the age of 40 alienates a huge audience of people that normally would watch his show but have decided to watch John Oliver instead. Now he's alienating people over the age of 65, like me, who find remarks like those he made about Biden offensive and mean spirited. He needs to be dropped by HBO but he's under contract until 2022 I believe...ugh. I'll just continue to boycott his show and watch a movie instead.

Sonja Morgan: Don't Call her White Trash

Well...she was a lot younger in that photo and with the Morgan $$$ it afforded her the luxury of wearing top designer dresses and having a staff of people to get her photo ready. -

Her daughter is in college now...Sonja probably visits her and hits on all the freshmen guys there. -

She's put on some menopausal weight in her stomach and thighs...the heavy drinking is also giving her a bloated look. -

She's not a blueblood...she comes from a rural background in Upstate New York...humble beginnings. She was the coat girl at a fancy New York restaurant when she met JP. -
S12.E05: Not So Model Behavior
BrownBear2012 replied to OnceSane's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
Did she even tip the guy? He looked pissed...I would be too if some entitled faux Countess waltzed into where I was working and asked for a blowdry and style without being a part of the fashion show. What a nerve. -

Right? She can't...she's a bitter bitch. He was the one who did a lot corsets...he had a unique style and some of corset creations were stunning. -
All Episodes Talk: Small World, Big Lives

Preach! I was appalled at his non reaction to her announcement and more appalled at his entitled arrogant lecture peppered with resentful, angry attitude. This guy is just the most spoiled asshat millinnial ever. Equally, Tori gave off some attitude also but corrected herself and at least feigned happiness for her. The shy, quiet kid is now a bombastic know it all...and Amy had to grovel for his forgiveness. Even after that he could not show any kind of happiness for her and would barely hug her. I can't stand the back and forth between Tori and Zach...he bellows out his "philosophies" on everything...things that he knows nothing about and she sits there making faces and sarcastically makes quips. Kids should not get a choice of hot dog or burger at a party? Mr. Hard line...ha ha...he's just like his Dad. But they're engaged...it's a formal engagement too. Not just a promise. What do you think Miss Perfect, Caryn and Matt are doing when they go to Arizona in the winter? -
All Episodes Talk: Small World, Big Lives

My 30 year old daughter felt the same way with her now husband...they moved in together after he proposed. She didn't want to be living with someone for years and years before a proposal or maybe never even getting one. Amy is an older woman with grown kids and grandkids...I totally understand why she wouldn't want to live with Chris without being married. -
Yeah...it's pretty obvious that MTV is fishing for storylines with these TMs...mostly because they don't have one!
-
Gary, Gary, Gary...a geography wiz he ain't. And why is he the anointed one to give a grown ass woman like Amber a lecture on using birth control??? Seriously? Seems like Gary is spending more time worrying about Amber and checking in on her and "advising" her on stuff than he does with his wife and two kids.

Right? What's the point of going to therapy if you keep doing the same dumb stuff over and over?

Cory is involved with himself and will do anything to make himself look like a doting Dad...waking up Ryder for this self absorbed moment at the airport was selfish. Cheyenne should have insisted that Ryder be dropped off at her house for a proper bedtime...something Cory made an issue of a few episodes ago stating that Cheyenne doesn't have rules and doesn't enforce a bedtime routine and an earlier bedtime for Ryder...oh the hypocrisy!

Where to begin??? I'll start with Catelynn and her fantasy about being a vet tech...you have a computer. Why not research the educational requirements first before wasting someone's time and keeping them from doing their work? Of course she wasn't going to pursue this...too much work and she probably wouldn't even get into a vet tech school anyway. Ugh...it's so painful and frustrating to watch her and Tyler just muddle through life each week with no ambition, no direction or growth. So Amber trolls for another boyfriend on IG...shocker. How in the world does MTV justify paying this slug of a woman to film her sitting her ass on a couch each week making excuses for her obscenity laced assault on her last boyfriend and immediately jumping into another relationship with a stranger...someone who barely speaks English. What could possibly go wrong with this? Her dependence on having a man in her life is something that she should be working on with her therapist...this isn't normal. She puts these IG guys ahead of her kids...consistently. She has SO much to be concerned about right now...her legal woes, her relationships with her two kids, her future if she gets hit legally/financially...yet she's looking for another guy??? Ryan is the shittiest father on this franchise. He makes Josh look like Dad of the Year. And Mackenzie is just a sycophantic enabler. The way he whined and whined and whined about Bentley being a brat who misbehaves and doesn't get disciplined was just the worst. Every week he maligns this child, complains about him and begrudgingly shows up for a family event that involves Bentley. He never supports Bentley in his sports or even shows up for any of his games...in fact he complains about the sports Bentley does and thinks it's"too much". He has no interest whatsoever in any of his kids. He just sloths around the house, whining and then blowing up if anyone says something that he can't handle. I give this marriage two years before he blows it up. Mackenzie is just as bad. She should not say ANYTHING about Bentley, EVER. Shut your pie hole honey. Condolences to Mackenzie...her mother endured a lot. What was wrong with her sister's neck? Someone said on here that Cory was acting like he was going off to fight in WW1 or WW2...ha ha! It's funny because it's true! Oh the sadness of it all!!! Waa waa waa...what the was Taylor bawling about? Good grief girl...get it together! Sheesh! I really hate the way MTV is using this show to promote another show by plucking one of the Dads out and sticking him on one of the other stupid shows. Tacky, tacky, tacky...and can I say that Cory using the word "basically" all the time before making an announcement sounds like, "basically", someone with a limited vocabulary. Question...what does Taylor do anyway? Does she work or does she just sit at home waiting for Cory to return from the battlefield?

Having another baby is the only thing these breeders know how to do...it would show tremendous growth if we could hear Catelynn say she was going to go back to school...even a community college and get some training so she could do something helpful and constructive instead of sitting around the house, biting her nails and yakking about getting pregnant again. Same for Tyler...these two are letting their 20's be the most unproductive time in their life and it is setting the table for a future of potential poverty and zero prospects. When they're 40, there will be no more MTV shows, free trips to resorts or weekends in New York or the West Coast...just a couple of teenage girls to worry about, bills to pay, animals to feed and a big drafty house to heat and repair.

I got the impression that Saul was retired or in the process of retiring. It looked to me that was the first communique he had from Carrie since she left the United States. As for Saul, it is not unusual for retired CIA/NSA "retirees" to still be in the game as unofficial intermediaries for high profile negotiations or back channels for spy trades or information on terrorist organizations or leaders. They can always decline to be involved but someone like Saul would probably want to still be active in a low key, low profile as needed basis.

The problem with series finales is the need to tie up so many loose ends...as far as endings go this one was better than most...worst being the Sopranos finale. I think the writers did the best they could given the time constraints of an hour long show. I didn't see the ending coming which I thought was brilliant. I think the writers wanted to show Carrie as a very flawed person. Her mental illness was a huge factor in her behavior throughout the series and this episode was no exception...the risk taking, the ability to deceive and lie to "save the world" it points to a person with a grandiose view of themselves. Saul took so many personal risks in defending her time after time and rescuing her from dangerous situations knowing that he could be a victim of her delusional and dangerous actions. I think he always felt, deep down, that she would never sell him out or betray him...the ending was solace for him whose heart had been literally been broken by her. I was not surprised by Carrie's relationship with Yevgeny...she always used sex as a way to manipulate men...Brody, assets, etc...Yevgeny was just a means to a way.

Haven't read his bio, actually didn't know there was on him...all I know is what I see on the show. He doesn't seem like a bad guy but he doesn't really impress me either. He seems to take a lot of crap from Dorinda who likes to make him feel less than...especially when she talks about Richard in front of her. Totally agree about most of these women being nobodies until they married well.

My son who is 33, is here with us during the quarantine and working from our house, came downstairs for a nighttime snack and watched about ten minutes of this episode where LuAnn was hitting on the dog groomer and then the tennis coach and he said, "These women are pathetic"...then he said, "is this the Hamptons?" He works in NYC and is familiar with the social scene in the Hamptons and all the middle age and older women that hit on guys his age out there...he just shook his head and laughed at Ramona and Sonja.
-
YES! To everything you said! I too worry about Sonja's excessive drinking. Women at this age have a higher rate of illness and morbidity from binge drinking or excessive drinking. And she has been drunk in every episode so far...sloppy drunk no less. She needs to see a good physician, not a cosmetic surgeon, and get a comprehensive physical and blood work. I can't even imagine how embarrassed her daughter must be of her mother's behavior.
