  1. I think her shirt had Alice in Wonderland characters on it. The two looked like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. I thought it was cute! Got Air Supply and Four Weddings and a Funeral. Didn’t get FJ.
  2. I thought it was funny. Still getting to know the characters. I like the gray-haired doc, and the male black nurse, but I need to learn names! When the group was in the patient's room, and Carol flipped back the sheets to show the feet and ankles, and then left them flipped back, I was yelling at the TV, cover his feet! Cause I hate when my feet are bare and get cold! The running gag about the blueberry muffin was cute, and the doc's explanation made sense. I've watched a lot of bad sitcoms in my day, and this is far from the worst.
  3. I lived in Omaha for several years, so it was cool to see, for example, the Sapp Bros. Coffee Pot (water tower). And Runzas! The characters haven't all jelled yet, but the relationships are coming along nicely. Also like the addition of Brandon.
  4. At the end of last season, his wife left him Season 2, Episode 21. That's when he met Officer Robin. Jeff & his wife probably aren't divorced yet, but it could be in progress. On the other hand, I suppose it could be final. I'd be surprised if he would date before it was final, but this is a sitcom.
  5. Mr. Zoey has worn cowboy boots most of his life, so I know more about the subject than I ought to! Tony Lama was an instaget for me. A few years ago, I watched a movie called, "Harvesting the High Plains." It was about managing available water for crops; this movie concentrated on wheat farming in Kansas, and the years following the drought and resulting dust bowl conditions. Anyway, dust bowl immediately came to mind. https://www.bakingbusiness.com/articles/24860-kansas-wheat-film-dust-bowl-trials-to-1940s-triumph
  6. Agree. I'm out, deleted it from my record list, and everything.
  7. Couldn't find an "official" description. Adam's crush Dana has moved back and Adam has difficulties trying to reconnect. Barry and Erica have no dorm assignments, so end up back home, until Murray fixes the problem he caused.
  8. No, not acquitted. It was a mistrial. The retrial was scheduled for 7 months later. Bull figured that she'll either accomplish her goal by then, thereby making another trial unnecessary, or she won't, and the fraud charges would likely stick. One of the jurors approached her after the trial because he wants to help with her project. He was the one who had passed on the "selling books on the internet" scheme, aka Amazon, and wished he could do it over again. I guess he sees this as his chance to have a do-over.
  9. I didn’t even remember that Wilde wrote, The Picture of Dorian Gray!
  10. Thanks for that! Saw the movie this afternoon. Marvelous!
  11. From the ABC website: As the Otto family ushers in a new era, Katie and Greg make the emotional decision to sell the family minivan; Daniel suffers a setback that forces him to rethink how to accomplish his goals. Daniel? Who the heck is Daniel? OK, the actor's name is Daniel, but the character's name is Oliver! Anna-Kat and Franklin plotting together was cute. Taylor was pretty obnoxious. I felt bad for Oliver, but he's young and has a lot of potential when he has his head on straight.
  12. They ran several stories about James before he lost. I was happy that Julia Collins retained her ranking for 20 victories.
  13. I, too, thought, "that volcano in Hawaii...what was its name?" I was not a James fan, but I like Jason. Though I do groan when he picks a DD.
  14. In the original, they started from Chicago, not the East coast. Granted, driving time isn't that much different (maybe 4 hours each way) but still...
  15. Oh, please! They're taking a cross-country trip requiring at least 35 hours driving each way plus stops, to spend what, ONE day at Disneyland? And Barry has to be back for college in a week! A road trip to Orlando makes a little sense. This makes no sense at all! This show is just awful anymore. It's the same plot every episode, just with different details.
  16. Mr. Zoey is obsessive about using dollar coins. I just roll my eyes. Though they do come in handy for leaving tips sometimes.
  17. If you visit Monticello, they use $2 bills for change when possible. When I worked at a Williamsburg gift shop and we got $2 bills as payment, the customer usually had visited Monticello before coming to Colonial Williamsburg.
  18. Loved this episode! At first, I was wondering who these people were and how it ties together, and by the end, I was wowed! Rebecca's father was pretty awful, but Jack didn't give up.
  19. It's all good. We have both Wildcats and Jayhawks in abundance in our family, including KU grads who went on to graduate from Vet school at KSU, and KSU grads who graduated Law school from KU. Me, I finished at Washburn in Topeka.
  20. I attended a land grant college/university, Kansas State, and knew what they were from a young age.
  21. Some of this first episode was pretty funny. However it edged a bit too close to stalkerish behavior, and also the trope “man pursued woman who is not interested until she gives in” just isn’t funny in the age of Me Too. That said, I’ll probably watch again; I like the main characters.
  22. From Wikipedia: “Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London, and is usually extended to refer to both the clock and the clock tower.” So replying Big Ben isn’t incorrect as the clue referred to the chimes on the BBC.
