  1. Good Lord Sonja is a nasty bint. Is it that hard to show up and be gracious?
  2. I didn't realize Paul was 34, he seemed much younger to me (maturity-wise) but wow to four different mug shots. Wow.
  3. The jury is still out for me as well. I thought watching Reza talk about adopting that he had genuine feelings on that. But then again, this is Reza. Add me to the chorus who's not liking Adam this year. Talking about spending the money on a surrogate so to have a kid who will take care of you. Sigh. One thing I know for sure is Adam and Reza have no business becoming parents until they are both on the same page on how to become parents. I did appreciate Reza saying he didn't want to "sell" Adam on adopting, he wanted Adam to get there on his own. As both an adoptee and an adoptive parent, the last thing an adopted child needs is a parent who didn't really want to adopt but did it to please a partner. I think Shervin in the only cast member I'm really liking this season. I want to like GG, but I keep waiting for her other side to surface. Also, I hope we don't see MJ's dad every week. I felt that it was a bit exploitive on MJ's and the show's part.
  4. wasn't she awesome? I wonder what the trouble was he alluded to regarding how badly one of his relationships ended...although I'm leaning towards him having a restraining order taken out on him.
  5. "Look honey! 190 pairs of panties!" I am dead, show, dead. This show has tremendous train wreck potential.
  6. Apparently. Very compelling... where does she find her clothes??? I wouldn't even know where to find that mustard number she wore in Israel.... and given all the behavior we've seen MJ exhibit over the seasons, her big concern is not to have a "bastard." Please. I didn't even know people still used that word.
  7. Oh wow. Holly's been one of my faves. I always figured her for a five year girl...
  8. I'd given up on this franchise a few years ago and only followed it sporadically but damn, this season has been amazing! I'm sad that next week is the finale. Tinsley calling out the difference between Palm Beach and West Palm Beach shows me she has real promise as a RH, lol. I even liked Bethenny this season and am glad she and Dorinda made up quickly.
  9. Wow, no new comments after the premiere? I'm still watching but not enjoying this season as much as I have the previous one. I'm not totally sure I like how the "Candice lives with Jill & Andy" storyline and I'm sure not happy that Brooke fired Devon. I hope those two work it out because I'm already sad we seem to have lost Stephanie and have in her place the southern lady who I've not warmed to yet...
  10. FWIW, Patricia said on twitter that he did the casting for the NOLA spinoff. She specifically said he didn't have anything to do with Savannah - made me lol because that iteration is such a dud.. In a recent interview, one of the producers said Whitney didn't want to be on camera when SC was in production but the producers felt he should be. To me I think Whitney doesn't feel all that comfortable on camera and it shows.
  11. I do not like Judge Correiro. He's so lackluster. And I think he dissents just to be different. Today we had a tenant sue her landlord and accuse him of abusing his wife, who she said he "bought." Acker and DiMango had no love for the plaintiff but there's Correiro who believed her. Why? Who knows?
  12. Greetings to all you forum denizens who have enriched my JJ viewing experience with your awesome snark! In today's rerun, we had the guy who got pissy over a cigar that wasn't fifty cents. All I could think watching was...can we retire the word "altercation"? Just say fight. It doesn't make your interaction sound more noble by labeling it an altercation. DItto "incarcerated." It's not a higher level of lockup...
  13. Oohhh Balcer is writIng? Awesome! I loved his work on CI and Mothership.
  14. At one point, I think we saw Richard swap the briefcases - I think when the burnt case was dragged outside and Jules and Gina were arguing. But what confused me was there had to be two swaps right? First, they had to swap the real money case with the white ribbon on for the fake one in the art piece. But then they had to swap it back so that the FBI got the case with the money back at the end? I don't know which switch Richard did. I loved, loved, loved this show and am so glad I took a chance on it. I thought the ending was excellent. I kept worrying throughout the season that 1, they wouldn't be able to tie this up, and 2, they couldn't do a second season. I was pleasantly surprised that they managed to do both for me. I loved that the three exes not only got away with it (at least for now) but got the ring as well. That was an excellent twist. My favorite part about this season was watching that relationship grow, so it was very satisfying to see the three of them on the bus at the end, reasonably happy with each other. I loved the use of Lenny Cohen. I was a bit concerned that she might play a bigger role in the finale, and I loved her but didn't want her to take it over. And she didn't. Love that if there's a season 2, she's been positioned to be back and maybe have a bigger role. Loved that Max got screwed. For Sally. He deserved it, especially after calling the exes "bumblers." Apparently not so bumbling, Max, apparently not. So did Maddie have real feelings for Ezra given the makeout session in the church? What about Gina and Jules? What's going to happen to Patrick now that he's thoroughly screwed this up for the FBI? I also loved that we got very little of the actual doctor. That's something that can play out in Season 2. So for me, if there is no Season 2, I'm satisfied with this ending. If there is a season 2, there's lots to work with. Yay Bravo! I came for the Real Housewives but now am here for the scripted. Well, Imposters and Odd Mom Out at least. :)
  15. I missed this last night. Is Whitney a full cast member or is he now "friend of"? I caught a quick scene last night with him and Patricia and I'll admit it, I actually like his scenes with his mom.
  16. I love this show way more than I ever thought it would. Every episode has entertained me, although now I live in fear that they won't be able to wrap up everything satisfactorily. Richard is my favorite character and I still want to know why he was a mark. Jules and Ezra had money, it's pretty obvious Richard didn't - he said he took the money in the point-shaving thing because his mom was sick. I doubt he became that wealthy as a car salesman. But as noted above, nothing is what it seems in this show so maybe he's some really smart guy running his own con? I loved the twist with Patrick bringing in Ezra. It seems Patrick is not as noble as he once seemed; he appears more concerned with "winning" this case than anything else. Do we have any idea how much Ezra & Company stole during their capers? It has to be small potatoes compared to what the Doctor has extracted over the years.
  17. I was already to enjoy this show and the first two episodes seemed to be slightly better than your average competition reality show. But last night's episode with the "who should go?" crap. I hate that. I also started the season liking all the contestants but now I wouldn't hire any of them. Miss Harvard Law doesn't seem to do well under pressure, Erin is just arrogant, Juli is meh and Buffie talks a good game but hasn't done anything to back it up other than insist she should be the Partner.
  18. I'm not sure about Patrick. Last night when she asked him to run away with her, I really think he was torn. I go back and forth with Maddie. I do feel bad for her but then I think about how devastated the exes were by her. But that's one of the things I love about the show.
  19. I too turned off the tell all. I know Danielle and Mo were the star attraction but i really don't want to see the other couples start in on them as well. Especially Mel. She grates on me something fierce and I think Devar is just a more polished and better acting Mo.

    S11.E08: The Finish Line

I rewatched this am because I missed the first few minutes so it was my first time seeing Amy's cut. That was so harsh. I don't know, I like Kelsey, she's gorgeous but she struggles at time but imo Amy was just as gorgeous so I don't quite understand why Amy wasn't deemed "coachable" as well. I would've kept Amy over Yuko. Speaking of, is the final squad 37? I wonder if they went with that number because of Yuko's questionable visa status. I love this silly show. I sometimes roll my eyes at the girls talking so earnestly about this being their dream, the most important day of their lives, etc. yet I'm the one getting teary eyed when the team is announced. I do wish we saw more of the vets. We barely saw Robyn and she's one of my faves. Also, Kelli with the "international media is here" regarding the ceremonial opening of The Star. Really Kelli? I'm in the states and didn't see coverage of it but other countries were covering it? is the opening of a practice facility that big a deal?

    S11.E08: The Finish Line

There are no words for how much I love the hip hop routine. Love. Loved the Kelsey wrap up. I really admire her tenacity. Now...producers...please. Enough with the guest stars, its bad enough we seem to be stuck with Melissa Rycroft but Anthony Ramos too? No. Go away. Except you, Mrs. Romo. I like you lol.
  22. I know Jinelle was nervous but I can't believe for a moment Kelli & Judy considered not putting her back on Show Group... Does everyone have to try out for show group? I loved the hip hop routine. I think Melissa Rycroft has gotten better with the whole "showmanship mentor" routine but my God she still grates on me. I just remember her as such a lackluster DCC; I really wish they'd given this role to some other retired DCC. I like Amy, I think she's gorgeous but wow, she seems to make mistakes in every single routine.
  23. If you lived near/went to Paramus Park Mall in the 1970s-early 1980s, the Farrell's was there, upstairs in the Food Court. It later became the McDonald's and is now the Burger King. We went there when I was a kid for birthday parties, and yes, those were loud, lol.
  24. I love this show. It's one of the few programs I make a point of viewing and after last night's finale I really hope there's a Season 3. I'm not as prescient as the posters above who all saw the Madoff twist coming lol. But I would love to see what a Season 3 could do with Lex, Candice and especially Brooke. One of the things I really loved about this show was that all the things that carried thru...the Von Webers stayed the Vons, the name of the art dealer dropped during Brooke's NY Times interview shows up in the finale, and especially the Joy Manifesto.
