  1. White and good looking doesn’t make your life perfect. Kevin is hardly ever the center of attention in his own family. Just look how they all walked out on the taping. He wasn’t left at home just left out. No one likes that. Rebecca couldn’t even be bothered to look at his trophies or listen to him or watch him at all. I can assure you he does know what it’s like to be discarded.
  2. Totally disagree. It’s becaise they’re both male. There were a few times when we saw Kevin being a jerk to Randall, but most of the time Kevin was just reacting to his parents favoring Randall. The one that sticks out in my mind was when Randall was studying late at night and Kevin couldn’t sleep with the light on. Rebecca wanted Kevin to just be more understanding of Randall. She never once suggested Randall go study elsewhere. Nor did Randall. I think Randall wanted everyone to know he was studying while Kevin was sleeping. There are so many times where Kevin was ignored or forgotten. What about when they all came out for a taping of his show? He got them special seats and they all walked out before it even started. Rewatch the show and pretend you’re a Kevin fan. You will see time and time again how he was overlooked and tossed aside.
  3. Of course there is always more than just probation. But, Randall was incorrect and a real jerk to Kevin claiming he’s not an addict and anyone else would have gone to jail.
  4. Can. They use scoresheets and if it’s his first offense and he has a good lawyer, he would probably get probation. Same with Randall or Beth or any of them.
  5. Thought of something else. What would Kevin go to jail for? Are the penalties that stiff wherever it happened? There was no personal injury and no damage. He wouldn’t even be charged with a felony in FL. Even then, here they hardly ever go to jail for DUI. It’s usually probation.
  6. Beth shouldn’t be throwing any stones at Kevin for Tess stowing away in his car. What if Tess decided to eat some of Beth’s brownies? Or took Mom’s “oregano” for show and tell? Maybe not as dangerous, but also illegal. If Beth lived a squeaky clean life and maybe didn’t have such a beautiful home where until recently she was a stay at home mom and wonderful family, maybe I could get behind her. I think part of her problem is the girls (Deja included) love Kevin so much. And maybe she’s mad at Randall for the crap he’s been pulling (moving his dad in and quitting his job without discussing it with her first) and she’s going to take it out on the good looking white guy. Her comment to Randall earlier makes it seem like she really had a problem with white people.
  7. You think that would matter to a 10 yr. old? Let’s not forget Rebecca didn’t look at his trophies, didn’t watch him throw the football, AND throwing the football (Kevin’s thing) was really about Kate. So when Kate quit, Jack quit. It wasn’t about spending time with Kevin. Again. And let’s not forget the pool where they weren’t watching the kid who can’t swim. Kevin was definitely neglected more than the other two.
  8. And I think that’s really why she hates him.
  9. Nope. Beth is mad that Kevin endangered her daughter who RAN AWAY. I don’t have sympathy for drunk drivers and yes he was endangering others. But she was mad about Tess. Nope, nope. Sorry. It’s not Kevin’s fault she was in the car. And keeping Kevin from seeing them would be so wrong. You can certainly supervise them all but then Randall and Beth would have to actually pay attention to Kevin and their children. And Beth doesn’t seem to like Randall’s family at all.
  10. Beth hates Kevin. As for Tess? That’s just bull crap where nothing is her daughter’s fault and she blames the guy who didn’t even know she was in the car! Once he knew he slowed down and told her to put on her seatbelt. And the the other two found Kevin. Why wasn’t she with them? We don’t know she went RIGHT to his room. She just ended up there.
  11. I’m really growing to dislike Beth. Randall made me pretty ticked too. I liked the psychiatrist. Pretty sad when the only one in the room who is on your side is not family. And Rebecca! Dang! She should have been the first one to go to Kevin and she was the last.
  12. Loved this episode! I thought it was hilarious. I LOLed several times.
  13. I LOLed when Bob (Sean Astin) excitedly asked if there was buried treasure where the X marked the spot (like in Goonies).
  14. I’m not sure what’s going on with him. I’ve always thought him attractive (The Good Wife, Downton Abbey), but I don’t know. Definitely too chinless for my tastes.
  15. I recommend watching Edward VIII The Nazi King. The Marburg Report, or the American version, agrees with Lascelles version of events.
  16. Good grief! Could Margaret or Tony possibly get through one scene without a cigarette!
  17. Still having trouble reading the recaps. I can only see them when I log out.
  18. I don’t think it’s sexy at all. I was quite distracted by all the smoke in the air. All I could think was how horrible that room must smell and how hard it would be to breathe in there. Am I the only one who has trouble with the main site? I always get an error.
  19. I think he should be very proud. He served in Iraq. I would love to shake his hand and thank him for his service.
  20. Cody and Jessica are contestants on the upcoming season of The Amazing Race. “Your Boy” is not. HAHAHAHA!!!
  21. I have been rewatching Season 10 and it is really sad how boring and unimaginative the challenges have become. They used to be more than balance on something, balance something, or throw something at something. Or draw a rock. Geez! What was that?! I liked Lauren and I’m sad to see her go. She must have been severely sleep deprived because she made so many mistakes in this episode. I like Ben. I don’t see him as a bully. I do like SmugMug as a name for Chrissy. I started out liking her but she really thinks people should just let her win and clue her in on everything. She’s a real Princess PoopyPants.
  22. I loved the show when it ran originally and loved this special. Laughed a lot. A little disappointed they cut some of Tim’s elephant story. Eunice tried to ask Mama a question several times. That’s what made the ad lib so funny.
  23. Iain is just adorable. I’m thoroughly enjoying this show. I’m glad the father is nice and not how TBBT Sheldon describes him.
  24. Does Kevin really owe Randall an apology? Is it his fault Tess snuck into his car? Obviously drinking and driving is horrible and endangers lives, but Kevin didn’t know Tess was with him. Where I live, having a child in the car makes the charges enhanced and the penalties stiffer.
  25. Sorry- I have a couple other things I wanted to address: I didn’t think the girls looked at all frightened by Deja’s mom. Yet Randall whined about that to the shiny-faced social worker (obvious Botox). I’m not happy with Kevin for the way he was driving but lots of celebrities drink and drive instead of hiring cars. Obviously he has some deep issues he has never dealt with. Also, I think Deja wrote her Mom? So maybe that’s how she got the address. It wasn’t a domestic battery situation so I don’t think their address would be kept from her. It depends on the situation but I didn’t feel her picking up Deja at their house was completely unrealistic.
