Kenya Moore: Twirl! Twirl!
ZaldamoWilder replied to radishcake's topic in The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
Excluding the 1.5, I don't even think the rest were real enemies. Or even frenemies, I just don't think they cared about her like that. swankie put it better than I could've but it must've been exhausting trying to figure out when she was "in character" and not. So for a cast amongst whom there are/were some real friendships, don't nobody have the time to figure out when a bish is acting and not, especially when those two things are indistinguishable. And it wasn't as though they weren't willing to try, do ya'll remember the class trip to the garden of good and evil when Kenya was on her bed telling, of all people, Porsha, how the potential of being a mom to a girl made her feel? That looked and sounded real. Hell real enough for Porsha, of all people, to empathize with and reassure her that she'd be a great mom no matter who came along. Porsha, of all people, with her own infertility struggles, handholding someone it's no secret she didn't care for at the time. At the very next opportunity Kenya was back to her in character messiness. Each of them has a role to play and heat to bring but the difference is that it's discernible from the job they're being paid to do and the person they genuinely are. I don't think they even feel strongly enough about her to hate her. I do think they ran out fucks to give a long time ago though. I may have misread this scene but what I thought this was in response to was Todd's question to Kandi about how she feels about Phaedra's stance of not supporting her husband. Not her own. I believe Kandi's position was she would go to court with her husband. -

@ cooks, that struck me at first too but memory jog with me back to: during the manner to which he's become accustomed to speech, remember that Joyce was all about having a place that Todd couldn't put her out of if and when Kandi, how did she so eloquently put it, ah yes, choked on a chicken bone. Maybe she never signed over the deed on the house she gave Joyce into her mother's name. And maybe ole evilass' stipulation is that this house must be in her name. Aside from that, let's say it's not a storyline and the bitch is stone cold scary. Having your mother/mother in law live on your property, no matter how large the house, really has to be a no for most. I think this was even brought up at one point and in a TH Kandi said Todd had straight shot her down about it. p.s. somebody upthread (swankie?) asked about the faces she was making while they were talking, the biting noises and shit. Kandi asked her what she would do/how she'd feel if Todd's mother put her finger in Joyce's face and she responded by demonstrating a Mike Tyson. Oodles of charm, that one. -

^^ Rocket Man? So I thi...REALLY???? Rocket Man though? Thankfully there's a legal solution to weed-names. A procedural fee, a little paperwork, visit to the county clerk's office and you're all set. Although part of me thinks it would be kind of cool to have to write that on a form somewhere. Until or unless, you have to, you know, get a job. I see you though Miss Jackson!! Reality, I don't believe (and don't really want to) that Nia had an abortion. I'm naive that way though. Masika is absolutely young and fit enough to get away with whatever that dress was trying to do but, what was the problem there? Was it a two piece, was it not pulled up far enough, was it for a girl less buxom? I didn't think she had titties that looked like mine but there was no concealing it there. Is it that all the other times I've seen her she's just got a really really good bra on? Do implants deflate like that? I need to knowwwwww Something must be done about Hazel, but what? Has Tierra never had a normal, non confrontational discussion in her life? That seems statistically impossible and yet, every time she's on screen, out come the hands. Thankful not to have to lay eyes on Nikki. -

Well girl duh? The boy is a Big. Deal. LMAO!!! Somebody upthread pointed out (about the Moneice-Amanda fight and why mandy didn't see it coming) that if you aren't comprised of any parts bird, ratchet, garden variety messiness, recognizing it may be a challenge. We're just all gonna have to agree that this child's name is one of those things not meant for us to look at too tough. lol! Sparkle, your kin southern? This made me smile. My college roommate was from Hilton Head, S.C. and this is fresh outta her mouth. Thanks for that lol! Apryl: "being a mother is challenging" <-- ya'll can populate my thoughts about this right here without my having to type the words right? -

Copa you just helped me clarify what I think Kenya's problem is. She's quick, sharp tongued and light on her feet. A huge skill set to have as a tv personality and one that is especially appreciated in a HW setting. The reason I think there's a Kenya and then there's an everyone else is that she has no self critical sense of humor. Kandi getting Mynique together; Phaedra mostly talking shit in THs; Nene talking to anybody, hell even Porsha's misplaced rowdiness, they all have the ability to process, respond and/or read a bish and go right back to happily filing their cuticles. Being that intelligent and articulate (should) means that she can fix somebody without herself becoming bothered or being able to give as good as you get without the use of a scepter. The unfortunate part is that she's RIGHT which gets trumped by her being unlikeable. That's what was evident with the WWHL not a fan phone call. She could've simply answered that woman without giving her the slightest indication that she was bothered but nope, let's kill this mosquito with a machine gun. I'm no Kenya fan and I never will be but Phaedra does owe her an apology. Likewise she owes one to Phaedra. Kenya to Phaedra, for her part in the inappropriate, boundary-less and disrespectful way she behaved with Apollo throughout the season and Phaedra to Kenya for maligning her name and reputation based on Phaedra's reactions to it. Ya'll have to refresh my memory as to what/how the rest of the group responded to Kenya because I don't remember what if anything they said - THs maybe? - or how they behaved to reinforce the belief that she'd earned Phaedra's nasty nickname. Kandi can't control Joyce anymore than a matador can control the bull. When they were at the Kandi Factory and Kandi was talking to her mom about the almost fight at the bridal salon with Carmen, she not only lied to Kandi about who started the fight, she went on to be hurt that Kandi wasn't on *her side* and flat out said she wasn't gonna stop being who she was. There's no management of that sort of delusion. As ill as this sounds I suspect it's actually easier pacifying Joyce with whatever she wants than having to listen to her relentless complaints about not being supported. I'm sure the additional bedrooms are for the old lady Coven, Joyce is the youngest of like eleventeen kids, remember? I want to reach through the tv and ask Todd to simply stop talking when she comes into a room, as that would drive her crazy(ier) but alas, he was raised more properly than that, even if by a prostitute. I fast forward through Nene. The more I see/hear her the more she reminds me of Jim Carrey's Fire Marshall Bill and I hated him so... Where have we seen Claudia before? She looks so daggone familiar. Then maybe she's upset that it didn't happen on camera? Security did hustle her off to her dressing room right afterwards and both Kandi and Cynthia have said they went to her there to see if she was okay. She hasn't refuted that. -

Pretty 'Pollo what they call him? Watching Nikki process why the billboard couldn't be removed was pretty damn funny. It's like watching a vintage a scene from Taxi. What...does... amber... mean? I'd like to know the real answer to why Amanda keeps orbiting Fizz. The point is what, exactly? I'd like to know the same for Nia and Dre. Um, ya'll, the previews? I canNOT wait to see what he says about the baby. I giggled that man cave now means chronic hut. Apryl and her mom, what do we think? drugs, prostitution, discuss.......... -

Girl, whatever I can do to keep it juvial, I'm here to help ;-) I think Apollo's real crime as far as Phaedra is concerned is, as was mentioned upthread, his inability to uphold a basic marriage code. Which I imagine includes we may go through our shit, but do not crack the veneer in public. Behind the scenes and when they forgot their mics were hot those two would tear each the hell up verbally. Apollo never had the ability to contain his contempt for his wife to their private moments. I don't even believe she was all that heavily invested in her southern belle routine but the consistent and public disrespect he would exhibit on impulse? Oooh no. Baby I think the rainbow just got to be too much for one colored girl so by the time sentencing came, whether she knew what he was up to or not, she was relieved to have a no fuss, no muss way to get away from him. So we're just not gonna talk about this then?: "..................but you could've still stayed in the house, we could've had breakfast together, prayed together, I could've had the chance to love up on you..........." That girl is a much better human being than I. He would've been read for filth and dragged for that alone. So you think you can leave me sitting on a stoop outside our room, act a ho ass fool all season, complain about how hard you work all day and smooth walk off stranding me in a hotel lobby and I was supposed to stay home so you could get some? Ok, how bout you have your own special come to Jesus and pray on that. She don't owe him shit.- 259 replies

S06.E17: Reunion Part 2

From the article: "Bobby worked with Tirondola Custom Homes to help make his vision a reality. The paint work and finishes were artfully applied by Pat’s Painting, using a color design Bobby selected himself." Lol. Um, so......he picked out a paint swatch then. I want this guy to write my annual performance review. But but but, the pesky thing about the dictionary is you gotta know how to spell a word to look it up. Now whatuhwegonnado? We aren't delusional andplusalso, we, you know, can read. I don't know what the rest of it looks like but the document shown in that screenshot wasn't fudged, it was redacted. It's legal to submit. gimmepizza said what I was going to. For some weird reason I was watching a Growing Up Gotti marathon this weekend and the house was being shown. The people being shown the house were like what is that noise? Then the camera pans around and I mean her property line ends here and thehighwaystartsrightthere, it's crazy. Her back yard buttresses the LIE. She was saying her father helped her with the plans and the building of the property and all I could think was sounds about right. You've got a horse stable on an unfenced property next to an expressway. What does she even do that she can afford the taxes on that place. Oh p.s. Victoria, enough with the extensions, they're from the land before time and about 25 too years late on you. I don't get it, she actually has great hair. Sorry, little OT there. I hate you. LMAO!!! -

This is the type of behavior that informs me that Phaedra was either not involved or astute enough not to put her name on one thing. When people who are stupid, insecure and possibly volatile have their backs up against the wall, they not only tell it, they tell ALL of it exactly like Porsha was about to do before Nene hushed that ass up. Y'all Apollo's ALREADY a snitch, he would not have paused long enough for one second not to flip on Phaedra if he had something on her. Let's face it, this guy does not possess the 5 second delay that would make it possible for him to consider his children if protecting his wife were the motive for his silence. His gift is the Bidenesque quality of saying whatever the fuck he's thinking in the heat of the moment..and it's pretty awesome. VERY pretty. Apollo has another brother, same dad. I'm going to see if I can find a picture of the dude, Pretty 'Pollo what they call him, is the less attractive of the two. Girl? If it's more than one person you can chalk that up to not being everybody's cup of tea. If you can alienate damn near anyone who's ever met you in under 20 minutes? The problem is you, Ashy. LMAO!! Country as a pimp cape. This will never not be funny!! -

This. Dipped in honey bbq sauce. Girl if you didn't snatch every wunna these words right outta my mouth? I don't think I've seen more than 3 episodes of this show total. Last night I came across a mini marathon and caught the Cabo episode with Instagramgate. I'm sure a personality like Tamar's can be a lot to handle. A lot. But listening to Vince whine and carry on and pack his shit and go on and on until the break of fucking dawn with his unyielding bitchassery......Er. Mah. Gerd. I was like Shawn don't you dare stop him from leaving. The hell kinda grown man acts like this? Immature, condescending, overtalking, relentless in his ability to carry forward a grudge who can barely summon up more than contempt for his wife. I'm sorry no marriage in the world is heavily weighted enough for the same person to always be the one to apologize first. Something truly love destructive is wrong with him for it to always be Tamar's fault. Her issue is refusing to recognize her pattern for remaining in abusive relationships. The comment about how difficult it was for every disagreement to feel like it may be the end? Girl, you're in a fragile and shitty relationship. If it ends, that would be merciful. -

Detroit, I'm gonna need your permission to get this laminated. Milton Berle. Yeah, me neither. The giggling won't stop. -
^^ girl the only thing that stopped me from using that word is that a key sociopathic trait is that they're heavily unempathetic. The thing is she is deeply self absorbed and oblivious about hurting other people but she also expresses empathy and even gets kind of emotional when someone has gone through something (I'm thinking of her Reunion reaction to Amber describing her cancer bout). There's another example I've got where she teared up pretty easily and it wasn't about her but I can't think of it right now. A true sociopath consistently can't muster up a shit.

I was about to say I'm not one to judge, but who am I kidding. This may be enough of an explanation for how we get to her writing him off for life, especially when you consider that she made that decision as a 13 year old. It doesn't explain why a grown man never contacted his child. No, I'm assuming. He may have tried. It doesn't matter to me why he walked past her outside the party, at that point what he's fully aware of is that he has a child he hasn't seen or spoken to in 8 years. A child who would be this kid's age if he'd even glanced her way, recognition notwithstanding. It wasn't her responsibility to try and stay in touch with him. And I'm fully prepared to accommodate the "your mother kept me away from you" version he's sure to come out with but in my not so humble opinion, if you have a kid, then you make it your business to see them and if you're somehow "prevented" from doing that, make it your business to say that to a judge. And while that's going on, make it your business to have your kid see you being dragged away from their doorstep so they remember that you were literally fighting to have them in your life. But too often the more convenient thing is to do absolutely nothing. Responsibility abdicating bunch of bullshit.

Sorry if it's OT, special interest of mine. Here's a link to some standard and not so traditional traits of narcissism. Read the last 6, if that doesn't describe Teresa to precision, I'm out. http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/evolution-the-self/201311/6-signs-narcissism-you-may-not-know-about I'm not sure which personality disorder it's classified as but the ability to replace truth with whatever the person finds more palpable SHOULD be a narcissistic trait. It's necessary to support their delusions.

Until this post, it hadn't even occurred to me that one year of her Bravo salary, just hers, would have covered each of the four precious girls through undergrad. I cannot do that with my only child. This stupid heffa. = why the hell Teresa's reaction makes zero sense to me. I haven't ever rewatched that scene but since Kathy is the more reasonable of the two, why didn't we hear: yeah ok, your mom, my mom, it's probably the exact same cookie (and it is), I'm so happy to see it in your family cookbook that's awesome. Tre on the other hand. Completely irrational fucktard. What was she? Offended at Kathy's implication? Um, bitch you actually are a thief, so getting pissed about a cookie recipe just makes you look off the charts nutty. and = literal standing O
