Joy Behar thinks Kelly over-reacted: It's called show business. Not show therapy." Watching that clip of Kelly getting all in her feelings about Respect in the Workplace made me cringy all over again. I find her such a turn-off.

On balance, the cheeseburger put Michele over the top.

Kelly Ripa. Where to begin. Long ago, I watched her as Hayley on AMC. She stood out for her youth and sassiness. Of course, her role was to be the crazy punk teen who shows up to unnerve Old What's His Name - her father - great actor on AMC. Adam Chandler. She was never what I would call "tiny." She always had SOME meat on her bones until her pregnancies. She revealed at one point that she lost a lot of weight post partum, even though she gained a lot during her pregnancies. I will admit her extreme thinness bothers me, and it seemed to coincide with Kelly turning into a fashionista. Which makes a lot of sense - she was thin enough to wear sample sizes, and 00s, plus she had more $$$ each year, plus she was on TV each morning and had to look good. IMO, she got carried away with it. That's fine, but at the same time, she tried to portray the every woman who struggles with her weight. And, I'm sure she DOES struggle with her weight. So, fine. But she acts like she doesn't weigh like 90 something pounds. She should NOT lose any more weight - can we agree on that? So enough about her weight. Problem is, she has to talk and, and food does come up as a conversation topic, and it is cringy to hear her say ANYTHING food related at this point. She also revealed she hates the sound of people chewing. This added to the before mentioned topic, adds to the cringe factor. Add to it, the image she portrayed as loving her booze (who doesn't?) dancing like a maniac - more like MANIC. I found Regis more real and interesting to listen to. YES, he could be BORING. So, Regis is gone, but can we find someone relatable, as he was in some ways? Michael was great at first, but soon enough, Kelly ruined it for me. She was ALLLLL over him at first, so raunchy. I think he told her to Cool It at one point, and she got frostier. It was all so fake!! The "On-Air" Chemistry has to have SOME to reality to it. They didn't turn out to be friends, did they?? I gotta stop. The whole thing turned into a Soap Opera - she went Back to the Future, and it ain't pretty.

That People article didn't shed any positive light on Ms Ripa. I wonder if she wishes she should have let the whole thing DIE ALREADY. This cover story will not bring many over to "Her Side." It just serves to drag the whole stupid sorry mess out even longer. I "literally" and "actually" felt nauseous reading it. Had to pause to throw a splash of Frangelico in my coffee. That helped.

To-Do: Buy more popcorn, more vino. So Regis was asked if he'd be "interested?" That's wishful thinking. Even I, who adored Reege to an unreasonable extent, would not entertain the idea of him returning full-time. I am going to refrain from much Regis talk, 'cause I see that leading down a rabbit hole. Maybe I could see a recurring Guest Co-Host role for him (when Kelly is on vacay, snerk), or perhaps I could see him filling in a bit this summer as he feels fit, and if they need some help. That would actually be fun, if he "subbed" for a few weeks, maybe with Joy, aka "Bitch on Wheels," or other females. MAYBE, after a few months, he could reunite with Kelly!! Fun!! I would like to MAYBE see a Live with Kelly show with rotating co-hosts. Maybe someone like NPH or either of the Andy's could co-host for either a few weeks at a time, or a day a week - whatever. Doesn't have to be a set schedule even. Maybe even a Live with Kelly Surprise Guest Host Day (with a list of No-No Names like say, Clay Aiken - hee) Also, lots of female fill-ins to give LOTS of time for vacations, other Important Projects, and time for Kelly to Process whatever slights her co-hosts might accidently toss her way, Poor Baby. She seems SO stressed. Time for more "Vacation Days??" To make up for the 20th Anniversary Debacle. AND a Big Juicy Raise. They need it!!

If Michael is so horrible, why is Kelly so butt hurt at his leaving?? She should be happy. Now she can have one of besties join the fun. BTW, Kelly WAS told before the public was told. Exactly how long should Miss Diva get before the Little People get wind?? And, how about Michael PROBABLY being sworn to secrecy? And it was up to the employer for BOTH of these Oh So Talented Stars to figure out how to break the Heart-Stopping news that has shattered poor Kelly's life. Some of us are focusing on how Kelly has behaved LIVE and ON THE AIR. She looks petty, he looks gracious.

It is hard to process this "new" Kelly. I never would have predicted her "fall from grace" to be mainly at her own hands. I ragged on her for years, and FINALLY quit watching (and bitching) about a year ago. An occasional check in would reaffirm my dislike of the show. I tried to see her with fresh eyes, to chillax and enjoy the "harmless entertainment," but it wouldn't take long before I was thinking snarky things, and feeling all unchristian-like. CLICK!! The news coverage of this rather minor change of co-hosts has been over the top. Every day, some "inside source" has the latest scoop. The bare facts themselves are rather astounding. First, Michael is leaving in four months. Then, Kelly stages her Walk-Out. Then, Michael is leaving in two weeks. WOW. I do see that she was upset, clearly. I don't get way she has handled it from there. Why she couldn't go forward from her Heartfelt Speech on Tuesday, and go back to their Ahmazing Chemistry (that was all faked?? Maybe she is a better actress than I thought. Or, maybe she has fallen back on her soap roots. DRAMA!!) I don't understand the need for her to poke at Michael, Disney, or anyone else when she is live, on the air, doing her job. It's not "supposed" to be awkward. And that is on her. SHE needs to set the tone. Michael is trying to hang in there, and he is doing quite well at being a gentleman (on the air) and "taking the high road." She is also making the search for the next co-host weirder. They could have let Michael officially stay the four months, and just phase him out as they would rotate in new talent. Plus vacations, etc. Now, Kelly is almost demanding to have two specific people or "else." Fascinating!! (Popping popcorn, pouring wine.) "Money Don't Buy Happiness, Sweetie."

I need a day or two to process the fact that Michael is leaving in a few short weeks.

Kelly is important, but not irreplaceable. If she continues to act like she thinks she is more important than she is, she may become less important. I believe this has already happened. It seems like this news was indeed so important that she is majorly distracted from focusing on something that perhaps IS related to "happiness." Her marriage of twenty years and her family trip to celebrate that. I'm wondering if it would have made any difference to tell them at 10:30 am, then wait until the following morning and let Kelly and Michael make the announcement together. I'm thinking Kelly would have been almost as pissed, but perhaps would not have walked out?? I guess we'll never know. Maybe she sees that Live will be phased out for that extra hour, and she would be reduced to appearing on GMA a couple times a week doing her "Talented" Wacky Schtick that so many people seem to adore. There has been a lot of speculation over how much $$$ they have actually "saved." I remember Kelly saying that Markie handles all the finances and that he is very careful. Later, they spent some money on a couple of projects - don't know if they made money, lost some, or broke even. Kept Mark busy anyway. The fact that she makes a lot of money isn't why she should be "disrespected," it means that one might expect her to remind herself of her incredible good fortune, and act like a true Pro. She may have been rewarded by Disney for playing the loyal employee. She could have shown her displeasure in other, more mature ways. More private, less public. Yes, many support her, and think she was Done Wrong. Many others are able to put it in perspective, and are able to focus on the priorities in life. She seems to be more concerned about her job than her "real" life - does she really get her work identity fulfilled being a simpering idiot on a morning fluff show?? She claims she would have rather been a gymnast, or a circus performer, or an ice skater. If she "wants to be happy," wouldn't this be a great time to switch gears and think about her next career? What IS her longer term plan?? Live!! until she is 80?? THAT's a fulfilling life?? I find Kelly a mass of contradictions, which just gives a fake and phony vibe from her, and I'm not sorry in the least that she is going through this horrible time, and that Prince's death has upstaged her tantrum. I am frankly surprised that she brought most of this bad publicity on herself. I guess she thinks she's some kind of Power Player, and has found out otherwise. That's right, Kelly - people still think your name is "Kathie Lee" and they don't have any idea who you are. You are so NOT a power player - you rank below Strahan. Count your dough, count your blessings, grow up.

She is paid to show up, read the Funny Bits, pout her plumped lips, make sexual innuendos, and chit chat with the guests. She is paid a TON of money to do so. She is NOT paid to sit home and nurse her little hurt feelings. She should be ashamed at herself for throwing a tantrum, IMO. MAYBE stay home for one day, but make it clear it is about being SAD, not "furious" that she didn't get a head's up. Is that in the contract?? "Mizz Ripa MUST be alerted at least 48 hours before the little people of the world get wind of ANY changes to Mizz Ripa's working environment." Hey, maybe it should be. No matter that she can ice skate, don any number of costumes, have food fights, do acrobats, ballet, dancing, "cook," and many other Talents. She just can't ACT happy, I guess. "The minute he got in that seat he started acting like he was the biggest star on the planet." The source also claims Strahan began looking for his next big gig almost immediately. "Michael's not the boss of the network. He's an employee," says another source close to show. "He didn't make this decision. The network offered him a job, it didn't happen over night."

Boo hoo. Kelly needs time off to "process her feelings?" Please. She has shown up for work in the WORST physical condition (illness, lack of sleep, what have you) and brags about needing little sleep. Plus, as several have pointed out, she's an ACTRESS. Is this Devastating News somehow psychologically worse than, say, showing up after a close friend dies, a close relative dies or gets bad news, pet dies, any NUMBER of things that would warrant a "Mental Health Day," or a Personal Day, or even calling in a random Vacation Day. I'm sure she has the contractual right to take any random day off for Whatever Reason. NOT THE POINT!!! Point is she is butt hurt over not being "In-the-know". She is not sad about dear old Michael leaving (he's not leaving until SEPTEMBER). Her EGO is wounded, that's all. I would not let the Higher Ups see ME sweat and play the little brat. Kelly stomps her feet and takes her "talent" home. Bye, girl!! Hey, Kelly - you did us a favor - stay home and let the Boss try out some fresh faces - for you AND Michael (Gelman, too, while we're at it). Yes, you are The Talent, but watch your back, "Sweetie."

Poor Kelly can cry in her millions. Doesn't a true Professional wipe away the tears, swallow their pride and say, (aloud if necessary) "The Show Must Go On!!!" As much as I have disliked Kelly, I would NEVER have thought she would pull a no-show. Being in The Biz since an early age? A good Disney employee? She shows her hand by acting the brat. A real Pro would've held her head high and strutted out like, "Who cares??" And really, doesn't she have plenty of Fuck You $$$$?? (Probably why she's pulling this stunt. Money don't buy happiness, money don't buy love, and money don't buy Class.) Unless she really IS SUPER PISSED, she drew a line in the sand, and is taking an aggressive stance. Maybe she'll rethink this one, and say she was upset about losing her TV Husband, or some Bullshit. And quit with the "I'm on Strike" crap. Do your job, Kelly!!

I get the hypocrisy about Trump's father or grandfather changing the name, and being proud of one's heritage, but I'm bothered by the underlying mocking of the name Drumpf. I knew a man last name Stumpf. Yeah, a funny name, but are "we" also making fun of it because it's "different?" Seems like stooping a bit to his level. Shrug

A thought crossed my mind that when you say out loud, "Saint West," are you really referring to the father?? Seems to me they should have given Saint the middle name of Kanye, then it would be complete.

Whoopi, on occasion, has made some "good points." Sadly, they are overshadowed by all the other crap she has spewed over the past how-ever-many-years (I really don't want to know the number. Too depressing.) She throws out whatever thought crosses her mind at the time, how ever she feels about whatever issue they are "discussing." If it has to do with gas, aging body parts, her innate sexiness, her talent, taxes, her friends, race relations, education, comedy, hygiene, relationships, or just about anything else, Just Ask Whoopi. Then be ready for her to point her finger at you, and get all blowsy and outta control-like "tellin' it ya like it is" and flat out RANTING if you dare to voice an alternate opinion. What I don't understand is why so many in the audience, and the general public, continue to idolize her, and cheer for her like a maniac. Aside from the warm-up guy whipping up fake enthusiasm for a crappy show, folks seem to agree with her. Reminds me of The Donald. I'm baffled as to why so many agree with him, and support his candidacy. Do people like being yelled at and told what to think, in a loud and obnoxious way?? I realize they disagree on some issues, but I get the feeling Whoopi likes Trump (are they friends? I can't keep up with/don't really care who her friends are or who she hates.) I bet she agrees with some of his ideas, like maybe when Trump talks taxes, for example. I could see him saying something that she would jump on, and agree with, because Whoopi seems MOST PASSIONATE (aside from defending weed, ha) when she talks about TAXES and how SHE has to pay SO MANY TAXES. POOR FUCKING WHOOPI. GO CRY A FUCKING RIVER. Funny, she whipped herself into a frenzy about the parallels between Trump and Hitler (but didn't actually say his name? A few highlights from Raven's "Is she really thirty, because I think she's stuck at 12, maybe" Birthday Indulgence: First off, she seemed really happy (being the center of attention) in a genuine way (child-like) What the fuq was that ... pile of clothes she threw over her head? Never mind, I answered my own question. I saw a certain "fashionable" QVC host wearing the same long, white diaper-hanging-down-the-back "garment" and I gasped and gagged then as well. Well, now, it's Little One's Party - let's not fart all over it, ladies. I may enjoy edgy fashion, but Ugly is Ugly. Moving on, .... Out pops one of Raven's buddies - Jesse or Jussee - Jussie!! from Empire to tell us that he lectures Raven EVERY DAY that she is African-American - called her a "fool," if I caught that right!! Raven laughed and agreed, and said she has "a special mouth." Surprised none of y'all caught that interesting exchange. Then again, who dared to watch????? I was unloading a couple boxes of holiday stuff, and put it on for noise. Noise, I got!! There may have been more - and I recorded it!! But at the moment I think I may have to "move on" azz wellll - I can stomach Raven in small doses, but my Whoopi tolerance is near zero, and I'm trying to maintain that veneer of holiday cheeriness that easily melts off to reveal Festivus lurking beneath ..... Well now - how can she be a fool when it fits her perfectly? I think it may work out nicely for her. Lamar may be too fucked up to go out on his own, or without Nurse Khloe by his side (pushing the XXL wheelchair?) Perhaps he will be so mentally impaired that he can't even figure out how to dial up the last dealer on his cell. Maybe he is such a mess he will be on other legal drugs for the rest of his life. It is hard to say what their future will be until we see how he progresses. It seems amazing that he made it this far, given his history of abuse. Even if he is young and healthy, I would think he faces serious medical issues. Khloe can be the caregiver, and be a heroine, if they "last." Maybe she can carry on with any other male that is willing to be her side piece, so to speak, but maybe Lamar will be so messed up that he doesn't even care, or is aware of what Khloe might do when she has "down time." They BOTH has the $$$$moolah$$$$ to make it so much easier - round the clock nurses, extra sets of hands, best health care money can buy (don't tell me every patient is equal. Some patients are more $$$$equal$$$$ than others.) I think Khloe is in a great position (of power, for now plus she is NEEDED and WANTED). AND, a storyline to boot!! For whatever show she wants. CONTENT for her APP I am cynical, but I also see possible "happiness" for them both. Shallowly, I wonder about Lamar's sexual appetite, and drive, given the, er, events that we have heard about. The herbal Viagra?? The apparent problems with Khloe and Lamar's sex life? (Who in their right mind would want all this personal and private stuff "out there" for all to feast on? Oh. Right. Them.) Maybe Lamar can't even perform anymore, so sex and infidelity won't be an issue!! Every cloud has a silver lining ....

My two cents on Khloe and Lam Lam. He apparently lost an infant to SIDS. He and Khloe were anxious to have a baby, but I guess they struggled with that. I remember a scene where they are in bed together, eating mountains of candy, 'cause her Lam Lam loved candy. It was apparently how they spent their courtship and early marriage. Oh, and he was REALLY hurt when he was traded from the Clippers. A combination of sadness from several places, then a quick marriage that didn't produce the baby and the instant "happiness" they BOTH were looking for. Plus drugs, and lots of money that then ran out. Many sources say he was a humble, talented, but flawed person. Maybe just too unlucky?? His mother dies of cancer when he was 12 or so. His father was a drug addict. Tough upbringing. Sad, but preventable. Icky, gross way to die/almost die. Will this "tarnish" the K-Brand?? Is Kris and Kim "mad?"
