  1. I actually kinda liked Jasper there for a minute? I think. Not when he was being a drunk douche but the earlier scene where they decide they're not going to the bunker and they know it means they'll all die and that was ok. I'm more than ok with some hand-wavy science thing that saves her because darn it she's the best thing on the show so they can't kill her. I really loved her plot in this episode. I liked that she got some closure with Murphy, and of course she's going to go out on her terms if she's going to die anyway. I'm glad she got a helpful Becca this time round and I really hope she makes it to space. The show going full circle and sending someone back up to space would be kind of cool. The Grounders always being on the edge of war and the shifting factions and alliances between the various groups and Skykru is getting old. At least next week looks more interesting with them sorting it out with a final fight, please let that be the end of the overdone politicking. Also, I'm glad Octavia came back in time to be useful. I didn't like her Ilian plot at all. I hope we're done with him because he was awful.
  2. I quite liked it. I enjoyed seeing something other than startled deer from Maia (though that look is probably going to be coming back because her parents continue to be awful people). I also laughed a little at Lucca and Maia teasing back and forth over being each other's lawyers. I guess it's Lucca's turn again next season. On the whole I liked more episodes than I disliked. I guess next season, more Elsbeth and less Kresteva please.
  3. Alice was a Serpent?!?!!! I better be getting that flashback episode now show! I liked this episode a lot more than the previous couple. The party was fun and I kind of love the show for calling out the creepy Cheryl/Jason relationship in the way they did. Dark Betty continues to be one of the highlights for me. I find whatever's happening with her one of the more interesting parts of the show. I see Archie is over Valerie already. I actually don't mind because I do think Archie and Ronnie have pretty decent chemistry, besides I'm sure he'll be onto someone new next week anyway. Im so glad they sorted things out at the end. I know it's coming but I'm not ready for them to break up. They were so sweet and adorable at the diner.
  4. Jane Lynch's character was giving me Elsbeth-lite vibes and I have to say Elsbeth does it better. I actually felt pretty bad for Maia for once, but Id like to see her do something other than look distressed for once. Her family is terrible but they've been terrible for 9 weeks now and she needs to move on from the shocked gasp/sad face stage. I always like Sweeney but he was always best with Alicia. He just doesn't have the same chemistry with Diane. Still I did enjoy Diane and Adrian kicking some ass.
  5. Aww Archie, exactly as dumb as I've come to expect. I know he lives in his own world but the Blossoms are always the wrong choice dude. I hope Cheryl goes full dark on the Blossoms. She might be volatile but it's a miracle she isn't more messed up than she is already. Not going to lie, I totally laughed when Alice threw the rock through the window. Poor Betty, her parents are terrible. Not quite Blossom level but awful nonetheless. Did Hal even acknowledge Betty at all? I'm glad Ronnie got a story even if I didn't love the story itself so much.
  6. They're already really bad at the whole keeping the timeline intact thing and I f Sara tried to sit around and actually wish those things and minimise any unwanted repercussions it would probably have taken the whole episode for her to work it all out. I applaud her attempt to minimise the disruption to the universe, y'know it's the least she could do after she's already created all those timequakes and whatnot by taking them all back to 1916 again. I can't believe this became my favourite DC show but it's so freaking entertaining. Once I learned to put away any search for logic or reasoning I've really come to appreciate the fun of it all. Everyone actually enjoyed the crazy shit they get to do (with minimal angst for the most part), the villains felt genuinely villainous and the finale set up a perfect plot for next season as they try to fix the giant mess the my made. Plus there were dinosaurs in LA! Who doesn't love dinos? Amaya's going to make lots of new friends.
  7. That was a mess but I loved it! Just so much fun. The idiots broke time!! I'm surprised it took them so long. I loved the two Legend groups facing off against each other and the final fight with the Legion. Yeah. I've never been the biggest Rip fan (except when he was Evil and hot) but I'm sad about him leaving. I assume he'd have to come back now though to fix the monumental clusterf*ck they created. He is the time guy after all. Im glad Amaya made it and she's in no hurry to go to 1942. I'll put up with Nate if it means we get to keep Amaya.
  8. I completely agree with this. I'm so glad there was no dialogue for the revelation. I think words would only have got in the way. You could understand it all from their expressions and body language alone. I was almost hoping Ed would get a punch in there, Nathan deserves it. I don't want a season 2 because this series was such a wonderfully self contained show that it doesn't need anything else but if there was it would be interesting Nathan deal with Madeline and Bonnie building a genuine friendship and bonding.
  9. Nicole Kidman needs all the awards for this role. She was phenomenal. I'd read the book so I knew what was coming but damn if I wasn't utterly terrified for Celeste when she had to get into the car with Perry to go to the fundraiser.
  10. Given Alice's line about Hal knowing exactly what she's capable of I'd say he's not the only Cooper who has. Of course this means neither of them killed Jason because I'm assuming that'd be too obvious.
  11. I found this too. Parts of this episode really dragged for me. I think it's because I'm just not as interested in the Andrews and their lives as much as I am the Coopers, the Blossoms and the Lodges. The parts with Archie and Fred seemed to stall the episode for me. I could do with a little focus on other people. Speaking of people I'd like to see more of I'm going to need Veronica to get a good story soon. Im surprised at how much she seems to have been relegated to a supporting player role the last couple of episodes. Veronica Lodge is not a background person, don't you know she got invited to the Vanity Fair and Elton John Oscar parties on the same night (though I'm not sure which other nights their Oscar parties would have been on). Well they wouldn't want people to confuse them with some other gang's biker bar. Also lol! at Archie going to the bar in his letter jacket. Fred's business must be doing really badly if he can't even afford another coat for Archie.
  12. I'm torn between wanting this and wanting the parent actors play the high school versions of themselves. I can only imagine how much fun Madchen Amick and Luke Perry would be playing teens. Alice might be a awful parent but i think it does come from a place of love. She's done some terrible things (at this point I'm convinced she's probably killed someone, just not Jason) but she seems to love her kids at least so I can see why Betty would be inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt. Also Betty is a sweetheart who seems like she wants to believe the best of everyone more often than not.
  13. There has to be a flashback episode in the works for season 2 right? All their feuds and romances are just begging to be explored.
  14. Yikes that was boring. All the scenes in Becca's labs were just so slow, everyone was just standing around waiting for things to get interesting. I did appreciate the Mount Weather digs though, those were overdue. I'm also glad Emori survived so that was good too I guess.
  15. I love Betty and Jughead so much. They're so sweet and pure and supportive of each other. I am going to be very very upset when they inevitably break up. There was far too much Archie in this episode for my liking, I find his scenes drag on a little for me. It's nice that he was looking out for Fred but jeez he was kinda a douche to Jughead at the baby shower. Polly is an idiot. Mama Cooper might be crazy but in comparison to the Blossoms and she's positively warm and fuzzy. Plus at least at the Coopers Polly would have Betty watching her back. It was interesting to see another side of Alice, I'm intrigued about Hal/Alice and their history. The Coopers are my favourite family on the show, I just find them fascinating.
  16. Nooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! Amaya better not be dead. I will be seriously pissed at the show if we lose her. I enjoyed Evil Sara and Amaya kicking ass. They were great. I also loved the joke about Sara always dying- i almost wish she was the one shattered at the end because at least we'd know she was going to be ok. Poor Mick he finally does the right thing and all he gets are punches. He deserved one maybe but not one from everyone. Plus now he's broken up with Snart too. Someone needs to be on his side. I volunteer! i loved Rip's cakes. They looked so yummy. Drunk Rip was pretty funny but I'm glad Gideon got him to snap out of it. I really hope they get AI Gideon soon because I'm totally shipping them at this point.
  17. This episode was better in S2 when they were taking cover from the acid fog and working out how to use Mount Weather signals against them. Poor Kane, nobody wants to hear his sage advice this week. I'm glad he had a little moment with Abby though. At least someone appreciates him. This episode would have been a lot better with some Raven but I suppose the girl could do with a break for a week, but lack of Jasper was enjoyable at least.
  18. What a waste of Lois Lane and Dylan Hunt. I enjoyed Winn's plot and all the associated hijinks especially that warehouse having convient glass panes just so James could get thrown through them. Monel and Kara were awful as usual. Poor Supergirl being reduced to the girlfriend role on her show.
  19. I really want to see Diane winning a little more. Sure they sort of won the ChumHum thing but Neil Gross seemingly freezing her out at the end means she's knocked back once again. I get that this is her finding her feet again but give her a break show. Other than the pilot the most I've liked Maia so far has been her scenes with Elsbeth. The woman just makes everyone better. The scene with them holding the Alexa knockoff while it played Killing Me Softly made me crack up. I liked the end of the Julius plot with him going to the other firm. For a minute I thought he was going to call Mike Kresteva in a fit of rage so I'm glad they didn't go there. The firm totally needs to go find Kalinda though, that's some shoddy office searching by their guy if he was caught out so easily.
  20. I watched 4 episodes and all I got was that the show should have been called Colleen Wing and we should have been watching her story instead of the sad misadventures of Danny Rand.
  21. I think KJ's absolutely adorable. I've seen a few of his interviews and I love his goofy laugh. He seems like he's having a blast with the whole thing and displays way more spark in them than he does as Archie. I just don't enjoy is acting or his character on the show quite as much.
  22. Since I haven't seen him in anything else I can't tell if KJ Apa's performance suffers because he's focused on holding on to his accent or if he's just not very good. He has moments but I've found him one of the weaker actors in the show. LOL! I do hope we see more of them together though. This episode where Archie was involved in helping Jughead is the most I've liked him (aside from his occasional moments with Val). He seems to do a little better when he's in more of a supporting role. Also in the grand tradition of Archies he's always been kind of a bland somewhat lovable dolt. Not too bright but sort of a nice guy if more than a little oblivious so the show has that down pat.
  23. I quite enjoyed the Raven/Murphy/Luna dynamic until they pushed Raven to the pain once again. Why can't she have one nice week? Everytime she smiles I worry for her because it's usually a cue for the show to hurt her. The fuel road trip was all sorts of boring. They really need to streamline the grounder stuff. Just keep Indra, Luna and maybe Roan and ditch the cities and politics and factions. For that matter they need to reduce the Arcadia stuff too. Just go back to a small group of people trying to survive an inhospitable environment, itd be so much better. ETA: Jasper remains the worst. Gah! can't he go to Offscreenville or something? I get what they're trying to do with the PTSD and such but I find the contrast between his manpain and dead girlfriend issues and the rest of them dealing with the future survival of the human race somewhat jarring. I understand everyone handles things differently but I'm sure all the others have their own issues which they put aside to deal with the more pressing issue at hand.
  24. This. He's not entirely awful but he's just not a people person. He knows his stuff when it comes to time things and the ship but he's got more than a few things to learn about getting people to follow him. I think Sara's leadership style of listening to them before choosing a course of action goes a long way to that. These people are not traditional 'team' people, there's a reason they don't do well with Rip's more authoritarian style. Of course it probably helps that Sara can kick all of their asses to get them into line if needed ;) Again that's not to say he doesn't have a place on the crew. I agree with thuganomics85,he would make a good second for Sara. Someone who can understand her position and back her up. I'll admit I'm also low-key starting to ship ten just a little after their last scene together.
  25. I'm glad it's a universally acknowledged truth that Sara's a better captain. I liked the scene with her and Rip at the end with Sara bringing things back full circle by calling Rip a legend. He's obviously still got a place with them. Sara might be better at leading and taking charge but it's still his time ship, and nobody knows it better than him. I did enjoy their parental type bickering though and Sara complaining Rip left her in a time period where she was declared a witch (though it didn't seem like she had an entirely terrible time there). Mick and Stein were fun together again. I'm glad Mick found another science guy to snark on since Nate stole his Haircut. Nate was an idiot again. I didn't feel the slightest bit of sympathy for him (though I did feel bad for Capt Heywood). I just don't appreciate him dragging Amaya down with him. She was so much better when she was getting drunk with Mick or Ray's there to blunt some of Nate's dumber tendencies. Shallow observation, while I don't enjoy regular Rip as much as Hot Evil Rip I have to say that hair is absolutely working for Arthur Darvill. He was looking especially fine in that suit.
