I don't wish anyone sadness or ill will. I think the only sadness Lu actually feels is she was caught and made to look bad. Plus, if she actually has feelings for Tom, she is feeling what she has done to others. After all Tom is a man and random brunette is a woman and they can do what they want.

THAT drives me CRAZY! I always want the realtor to be upfront and honest and say something like yes, it would be nice to have stainless/granite/open floor plan/luxury/all done in your colors yet you give me a paupers budget to work with. Ha! When it was on last night and I was recording it I was also recording another show so I could not change the channel. I had to quickly move through the DVR so he didn't see it on the list. What disturbs me about this is I am sure money is tight for that young woman (they looked like normal people and she looked like every random teen mother out there) and this foray into marriage to a stranger in a strange county has got to cost some serious dough. I see that as money taken from the care and feeding of that child. Does she support herself or do we do it for her? It makes me a bit stabby. If you are an adult with no children do whatcha want. When you have kids they should be your priority. Not picking up some dude from a foreign land and sponsoring his immigration. The 5K from the show won't help much at all.

SOOOOO the engagement party was happening whether or not there was an engagement. TOTALLY manufactured story. WHY the cackling weird shit on the boat? Why the proclamations about their mutual love and waving her ring in everyone's face's? Why keep up the ruse of he and his mother looking for venues? This story is as real as Bethenny's boobs. Those pics seeing the light of day (as well as all the witnesses) put her apple in jeopardy. It also explains why he looked like he didn't want her touching him at the party.

I know we all like different hws for various reasons and this isn't directed to you, this is where I stand on them. I don't want people rewarded with a show when they are reprehensible human beings. Flawed yes, bitchy yes, fronting a lifestyle sure, but making shit up about a possibly terminal disease because you wanted sympathy is simply pathological. Seriously fucked up. In a million ways. Kelly is suffering (as is everyone around her daily) from mental illness as well as alcoholism in my opinion. She takes anger up a notch to is this chick gonna shiv me if we argue. How she goes from losing her mind to calm and rational in a heartbeat is disturbing. She has had to deal with the courts BECAUSE of her anger and temper and lack of self control. Clearly not playing with a full deck.

Sort of how food poisoning (Sew Sumi feel better!) turns you off food.

If it were another HW in Lu's position (fakety fake relationship for the simple goal of holding onto ones apple) she would be right there with the others looking by in equal parts schadenfreude, horror, possibly glee. It seems fairly obvious Lu's apple has been up in the air the last couple of seasons so she brought it. Similar to the stupid as hell story of wanting to have a baby with Jacques. Her own mother had been quoted in some article that Lu had had a tubal after Noel and had no interest in more children. Don't outright create a story line and expect the others to roll with it. If my coworker invented some bs story about her life and it all blew apart, especially if she were gloaty and an asshole about it, I might smirk a bit when it came out. I am not an asshole but I am also not a Pollyanna. I don't know why Toms behavior is somehow not as bad as the ladies. They owe her nothing. They are coworkers and friendly at best. HE owes her fidelity (at least in public, I don't know what their arrangement is behind closed doors), respect, love, honesty, etc. The asshole in this situation is Tom. He should be the one to NOT humiliate his intended. Not Bethenny, not Ramona, not Sonja (well they are all their own special brand of asshole, but not because of this), not Carol. She should expect more of HIM. Just like I expect my husband to treat me better than the ladies I work with. B didn't owe her anything by telling her. A true asshole would have let the unnamed witness sell the pics to a tabloid. The ire belongs firmly on Tom's shoulders.

Great ideas! We have a lot of stairs in our building so I plan on doing them many times a day. Plus our weather is good most of the time so I need to make time to take walks throughout the day.

WAY off topic but I was thinking about a fitbit and say I am short a few steps can you put it on your cat to make up the difference? All joking aside, I am thinking about getting one. I am curious about how many steps I get in a day and it would be helpful to see. I DO get a ton of walking at work which includes stairs.

I came over to this group to see if there is anyone doing something like this (group support). I think its fantastic. I wrote awhile ago I lost a ton of weight 16 years ago. Well the stress of my last 2 years has caught up with me. I allowed myself to gain about 10-15 lbs. Not a ton but I certainly was eating my feelings. I KNEW what I was doing so that is why I say I allowed myself to gain weight. At those moments a Haagen Daz bar DID taste better than thin felt (and two felt FABULOUS!). So while I am not overweight like I was (not even close thank god), my pants are a bit tight (I do NOT use a scale any longer, I use clothes). The stressful issue has resolved soooo, my eating plan shifted Sunday. I am back to eating healthy and going to drop these Haagen Daz bars that are sitting on my hips. WW was my plan of choice then and now. I am not using the current plan. I am using what I used the 1st go around (circa 99/2000). Saving my old food diaries was a great resource. Every night I am packing my breakfast, lunch, and snacks like I used to. In a month I will also have to add dinner (my work hours change). It SEEMS like a pain but it is much easier. No discussion of what am I eating today? I don't know if anyone else finds this when losing weight but I end up actually eating a lot more food its just not fat/calorie/carb heavy. If anyone is doing WW and is new to it but searching for a good food sub for an old favorite, ask away. I loved coming up with healthy alternatives to stuff. When I am not eating my feelings I follow WW still just at the maintenance level. I don't want too much difference in how I eat normally and when dropping weight. I hate to admit it, I do feel better eating cleaner.

Whitney just posted some photos to Facebook and I must say, she looks GREAT. She has lost a bunch of weight and her hair and makeup looked lovely. I really hope Whitney gets on a better path. Sorry, but I do like her and I root for her. Her recent weight loss is very noticeable and gives me hope that next season will be different. I would like to see her emerge triumphant. <wouldn't quote properly so cut and paste> I took a gander and she looks exactly the same to me. I also want her to do well. But that ain't happening until she learns the only thing keeping her from losing weight is her attitude and lack of follow through. PCOS may make it more difficult than the average person but I never saw effort. I saw every excuse being used but no real effort. In fact she will never lose much weight because her identity is all tied up in her Big Fat Fabulous Life. No fat = no show, no videos, no books, no sycophants.

That's what I saw in St. Johns (that is where the pirate was right? It's St Somewhere I cannot afford to go anyway). The ladies get to the bar and see the pirate. They all see him and think he's hot (you can see Sonja eyeballing) but Lu, with the very serious boyfriend, gloms into him before anyone else has a chance (the other ladies are getting ready to get on the bar to dance and Lu doesn't go with them, she's with pirate). She does what cats do and marked her territory. There were several suggestive remarks to the pirate (about how she's an Indian and other things) that at the time made me think WOW, she is balls to the wall making her move! No one else is getting any of that pirate until she's done batting him around. She gets very territorial.
