Good idea and I will expand it! Have her take their items and make a healthy low fat or low carb (whatever they choose) meal. I actually would watch a weight loss show where it was following everything from exercise to eating plan in the real world. Not these extreme weight loss type shows but regular people and how they get by working menus at regular places and getting them to fit their eating plan. But nothing gimicky. THE hardest part of losing weight is being out of the comfort of your own kitchen and making it work while also living a normal life with real world expectations. She also needs a reward system that is NOT food or special snack based such as new music/book/game (nothing clothing related either, too much of a reminder how much you still have to lose). This worked for me. And now *I* want a burrito bowl.

For that you probably have to party at Mohammed's in BH :). He had that private room off the pool or wherever it was.

Bethenny also had a True Hollywood Story ep on E years ago. I'd say that trumps a Bravo Before they Were Housewives. I also think Luann doesn't have much in the way of liquid assets. Yes she has WAY more $ than I do but not as much as she would like us to believe. She has to think about her future when the Housewife gravy train stops. I don't see music, acting, or modeling providing enough work and $ to keep her in the lifestyle to which she has grown accustomed. In reference to the modest comment re Lu's Sag Harbor house and Bethenny's Hamptons house, yes B's is also modest compared to what Ramona and Jill had. But let's not forget B owns at least 2 homes in NY City. It seems prudent to have a smaller vacation home. Let's be real, they all have more $ than many of us here. But I think Lu, Sonja, and Jules are the most likely to have to seriously downgrade their lifestyles if they don't lasso a walking wallet. None of them could EARN enough money based on their lack of work history to afford what they have had. If they could WHY would they be involved with this show (unless they want to showcase a product or business and they haven't, opportunity blown ladies) or deal with douchebag men (I am including Tom in this, he seems skeevy based on him dating 1/2 of the shows stars)? I don't see the three of them lighting the world on fire with some innovative new product or business.

Finally finished watching. Not feeling much less salty. I personally would not hire a trainer who lets their clients get away with what Whit does. Demand your balls back Will! No check is worth how you are coming across. I am sure there are potential clients who would do exactly what you say and not make excuses. She needs Jillian Michaels. This is the last show I watch on TLC and I think I am out (after next week, cause you know, the comedienne is on!!). All I am learning on that station is Whits problem isn't weight, its that she's an asshole who is holding her family and friends hostage. I searched and searched for something, anything, likable about her. Found nada. All I see is a grossly overweight woman with enablers and an awful, haughty, know-it-all attitude. Sure you fainted because you didn't sleep enough, eat enough, drink enough water (her eyes had that 'I dare you to contradict me' look). Surely didn't have to do with the 280 EXTRA pounds you are carrying (assuming a 5'1 woman without much muscle weighs 120). I expect Babs and Glenn will be burying her at some point in the next 10 years. Perhaps Todd can sing Amazing Grace then.

Are you TRYING to kill us???!!! Good lord I am going to have to stretch out before watching. I feel sad for her yet so frustrated with her excuses I could scream. I don't want her shamed for her body. It is what it is and nothing anyone says is as bad as what she says to herself. I want her to be shamed for her REALLY bad attitude. Well, not shamed but hold her responsible for her actions and inaction. She has a platform to do a lot of good whether that is losing weight in a healthy fashion OR actually living her best self. Not acting like a spoiled preteen.

If I (and I am sure many others) told you our family stories you would think you were watching Discovery ID or Deadly Women. Point is EVERYONE has something that makes them who they are. Some more tragic than others. From the outside you would have no idea cause we aren't on reality shows or attention seeking. I don't think she is a liar. I think many of her stories and experiences are over simplified because who has the time to explain all the nuances. There also seems to be a feeling that because she wasn't raised a pauper begging for nickels on the side of the road she couldn't have had that awful of a life. What I see when I look at her is someone who trusts no one and does everything for herself because she had to. Her parents were checked out except for those brief moments cameras were out and they could showcase a Hallmark moment. Back to talking about the media. I agree with the poster that had Lu done to Carol on camera what she did on twitter there may not have been as much Lu love. I also think she is staying with Tom for now because she doesn't want to give the others the pleasure of being right. To the poster that said something about Ramona possibly not recognizing Tom from the 1st season. Heck, I recognized him and I have never seen him in person or for more than the 3 minutes he had been on screen 7 years ago so if she didn't, she REALLY needs to lay off the pino.

When I was watching her on WWHL all I could think was she needed to stop staring at herself in the monitor. She seemed enthralled with how she looked (which was gorgeous but she should be used to that by now). She seems nice enough but isn't quick enough on her feet to be on such a show in my opinion. She has a hard time speaking clearly and coherently. Maybe she is nervous, maybe they intimidate her, or maybe the pills in her purse made it hard for her to stay focused.

No kidding. My mom had radiation and her hair never really grew back. It was very hard on her.

I am glad he had the guts to gently say what needed to be said. I think he needs to not be so gentle next time. Its not about her weight, its about her excuses for every gd thing! Everyone around her needs to hold her accountable and call her on her bullshit. I find I get quite animated during this show. Pity parties and excuses don't sit well with me. And be a bit more grateful for all your good friends and how they help you with day to day life responsibilities. And grow the eff up!

I think she is gorgeous. I just wish she would not get so flustered when trying to speak. It is hard to not get impatient. That said, as someone else mentioned, on WWHL she was high AF!

Best fruit memory was Olvera St getting a papaya with lime as a kid. Never had it taste as yummy since. Absolute heaven.

OMG! This is freaking hilarious! I didn't even need sound! When Jules called Michael my husband said it sounded like he was getting his clothes back on. Hmmm. For all Lu's talk of class, all I saw was a middle aged woman (no shame, I am one) cackling and looking out of sorts while gloating which is not an attractive feature (the cackle was driving me out of my fucking mind honestly). Unhinged in a way. I am wondering who she is trying to convince this is the love of her life cause I am not buying it. As others have mentioned he seemed to be trying to NOT kiss her and doesn't seem into her. At. All. He had better banter with Ramona. Sonja may have had a FWB relationship with him but I doubt she cares as much as she is trying to suggest. It gives her a story and makes her look vulnerable. I would believe she is mad at the countess for not telling her what is up. Basically all I am seeing is Luann gloming onto a man who is going along with it cause her freak factor is high and is fun for now (plus the publicity gives him access to MORE desperate woman of a certain tax bracket). I SERIOUSLY doubt they will make it to the alter. If its right why wait for filming next season when engaged after weeks? Lu reminds me of the Wizard in the Wizard of Oz. You think she's one thing when you meet her but rip open the curtain and you get something else.

Agreed! If you expect to not have someone yell at you, you best not move inches from their grill and yell/say disparaging stuff about them and their loved ones. AND if you are a known cheater (Brooks, missing teeth Greek guy, Mexico guy Tamara spoke of) keep your lips zipped and don't call someone else out. At least David only cheated with one person presumably (not that it excuses it but not a serial cheater like Vicki). I thought David handled it pretty well. I would not expect him to walk away from the screaming banshee that is Vicki. She is so smug and guilty of what she accuses others of I want someone to lay her out with a powerpoint presentation of her suckitude.

As someone who chose to not have kids I find this offensive (but you did put in your experience, must not know very many people without kids). Just because I chose not to be a mom doesn't mean I am not patient, nurturing, empathetic or flexible. Some of us prefer to work with animals than children. Besides I get my fill of kids at work (university). If volunteering with wildlife sanctuaries is boring no one told me!

Not sure this helps but Kelly stated her inspiration for the costume was Cher or Indian. It sounded like there was a bit of editing around Shannon's comment so I don't believe she was being culturally insensitive (I mean she is no Vicki!). I realize who Kelly looks like now. Guiliana Rancic. I don't see Shannon setting this up. The smoking gun Megan was referencing seemed TO ME that Shannon was asked to have her two friends sit and talk with her for filming (production request). But I also could be seeing something not there because I don't want to believe Shannon is that effin calculating. She doesn't need to be. She doesn't need this job. I did feel a slight sense of empathy for Kelly where she states she has anger issues and is working on it. Keep working on it! Off this show.

Thank you! I am too surly for a tv show but good old weight watchers. I like to eat so it was the easiest (and I am cheap so not buying special food). But we had a few Whitney's in our meetings (which are the best, you learn new low point foods!). They could not understand why they were not losing weight. Um, McDonalds might have something to do with it and the fact you are not exercising EVER. I was working out so much (and I loved it, became a cardio kickboxing instructor for a hot minute) I actually had to keep increasing my points so I wouldn't go any lower. My husband did not change his eating but bless his very sweet heart would meet me at my car to ask how I did and compare it to how many quarter pounders that equaled (you lost 2 lbs? Why thats 8 quarter pounders!). He was my biggest cheerleader. But he's also not going to placate me. A 32 year old making stupid excuses is pathetic to me. She has too many opportunities available to her. Give them to someone who might appreciate it.

I had mine out in 09 the same way. For ME it was not a piece of cake so I am not going to snark on Michelle about THIS (I am not a wimpy person and have a high tolerance for pain usually). I will however snark about just about anything else re Michelle. I wasn't allowed to eat real food for several days and couldn't walk well for a week. Serious pain. Going back to work on day 7 was a nightmare but I had a concert to manage so I did it. Altho it stank at the time on day 8 I felt better. Moving around helped. But I was in serious pain until day 7.
