Well IDK what to say, but suddenly Ruby's mom dying gains a whole other meaning. It seemed like everything got a logical ending, and then they switch it all up in the last minute. I guess they are very confident about a renewal with an ending like that.

The plan B joke was hilarious 🤣 The witch working at Cinnabon was such a cool twist too 😁. Very cool

Her therapist is really good. I have a friend who is struggling with the same situation and basically this is the advice I wish he would receive.

Ruby's obsession with always wanting to put that cream under her nose before finding a dead body is so funny 🤣

Second episode was really strong too. I liked the conversation about Ruby's selfishness at the wedding.

I just finished the first episode and wow it was really funny. The humor is very on point and the dialogue is so well-written. The funeral bits were so funny how the story kept unraveling and the opening scene was just perfect The best friend looks like Shoshanna from Girls.

This episode had some really strong jokes with the penis ring storyline. I was surprised when the cancer secret was not revealed in the end.

A show like this was never sustainable. It's a comedy. When you only give 6 episodes every 2-3 years people move on and do not become attached to the characters. There was no reason why this couldn't have 13-18 episodes per season as it should have. It is not a plot driven series.

Oh wow the camera work is on point. They are really generous to give us such a long preview, I loved it.

They are going so hard with the prime adverisements on this show. It's very noticeable.

I thought playing games with your grandsons can actually be a good bonding experience. In general Charles seems like he would be a fun grandparent so it is surprising he is not around much.

I wish it was that easy to be popular in a new community as it is for Charles here. He worked his way up to being a beloved member of the home really fast.

It's predicted to hit streaming in January, for now it is in cinemas. I would say it is worth seeing it on the big screen though - the visuals are better than the poorly made trailer will have you believe.

I was in the same place you guys but went to see it today with very low expectations, because a friend made me. I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised. The trailer does not do this movie justice. The story is so well-written and the victories feel earned. At the same time, there are real stakes - it is not a contrived story at all. I was very shocked by the end with how much they covered and how well it all came together. And the visuals looked excellent on the big screen. I can only recommend giving this one a chance.

See, this is when the show does not make sense to me. Here we have Courtney and Marty bitching and moaning about how much time and energy it takes for them to take care of the baby, but when Tina was more than happy to help they made her the problem instead of appreciating the readily available assistance. At least he was willing to accept help from Malcolm. I was surprised how happy Tina was about Calvin stealing viagra😅. And in front of everyone, too.

They actually wrapped up the show a lot better than I expected it to. Sam, Tricia & Joel had very good endings where you can kinda see where their story is going in the future. And since they gave Fred literally nothing in the back half of the season, I guess we are meant to assume he lives happily ever after with Susan while sometimes eating trash food in secret. I read all the after-series finale interviews the showrunners and cast did and put the most interesting revelations here:

I finished all 6 season of season 3 now. I would say the quality stayed consistent compared to season 1-2, it is more of the same. The 6th episode was so much fun! Getting "wiggy" with it still haunts me haha 🤣. 1 question though, I understand short seasons in regards to dramas and plot driven series because nowadays people are allergic to the huge demon that is "filler episodes", but in case of comedies like this it does not make so much sense. They could give us at least 13 episodes per season, as it is about making us smile not the plot.

Right? He was my main reason for watching so I am really curious if there will be anything worthwhile left in season 3 now that he is gone.
