  1. I feel like they are building up to it though. She'll probably do it in the season finale.
  2. The gay best friend colleague is the weakest character so far. Even his husband is more likeable. Other than that, good episode.

    S03.E05: Signs

It was nice to see Jade be nice to Nathan for once. He is a customer, after all. Keeley's scenes are just exhausting. How long do they make us watch her be a flailing, clueless idiot? At this point I'm just skipping her office shenaningans.
  4. I found the flower poeple / hippies / whatever they were extremely tiresome, stupid and not fun. However, the way the lawyer defended Josh was just awesome. That was a great number, specially when she talked so fast.
  5. They are making Dave more and more of a bumbling idiot who always messes up and Gemma is constantly irked at him and his mistakes. In past seasons it wasn't like this, Gemma actually liked Dave
  6. I liked that Abishola tried to open up and connect with Dele. I don't understand why doesn't Ebun do the laundry if she is so knowledgeable about it. Abishola has a full time job and also prepares to be a doctor, Ebun really could help out more.
  7. Man, that was just... I mean... Wow. I really liked that whole montage before the beginning as it was saying "thank you" to us. Interesting how Titan magic negates Collector's magic. Seeing the trio back together again was really heartwarming. I felt sad for the Collector. Behind all those godlike powers of his, he really is still just a kid who didn't want to be alone. Luz was on the right track of teaching him about kindness and forgiveness. Too bad he picked the wrong time to try that lesson out at the worst possible time. Seeing what happened to Luz... I was just in complete denial, thinking that there had to be a way she could come back from that, and then was like, "No! Not again! First Anne, and now Luz!". While seeing Eda and King go into rage mode was bad-ass, it was also very emotional. But then she finally got to meet King's dad. And he's been watching over them all this whole time, even showing Luz the glyphs. And then she came back in her own superform. Luz the Titan-witch! That final battle was so epic! The music, the animations, the "Now eat this, sucka!", all of it. I’m glad Collector became an ally and was even forgiven in the end after helping the Hexsquad. And even when Belos tried one last time to manipulate Luz, she just wasn't having it. And then he got exactly what was coming to him. Stomped out to oblivion by Eda, King and Raine. Goodbye and good riddance you evil lying parasite! The ending was so good. I'm very much satisfied. And Luz's timeskip too... I just loved seeing everyone grown up, living better lives and that Luz never had to make a choice between two worlds. Eda even has a hook for a hand now. It may not be an abomi-hand made by Alador, but it still fits her. Luz's King-ceanera was really special. I like how they all did it for Luz. And the best part was how everyone got together for one last moment to say "BYE!"
  8. LOL, that moment was so good. I understood that Frank & Shred were scared, that dog was absolutely vicious, but also strong-looking.
  9. I have to say, it is a shame that the main character of this series is Louis. He is an okay character and does fine - but the actor playing Lestat is on another level. All the best scenes, all the impressive acting moments of the series come from him, and his talents feel severely underutilised. Still a good show though, I will have to read the books.
  10. I liked that for once, Neil was actually getting along with her ghost (without some underlying sexual tension going on).
  11. Well, that sounds depressing. But at least the release date is not far, May 4
  12. Is this getting a season 2?
  13. +Sassapis doesn't even get to have a ghost power.
  14. This episode was really fun. I loved how rude the neighbors were to each other 🤣. And so quick to break into a fight too. I did think Victoria went too far. Frank pranked him once. She got him back three times. That is just unfair.
  15. I liked how Ron got Mr. Mittman on board. About the ending, well, it was nice that Henry found his true purpose and contetnment in his life. And I suppose Casey's appearance was meant to demonstrate that even if you achieve the stardom and acting success, it's not everything it is cracked up to be. About the others, I don't know...I guess Kyle made it and Lydia is his manager. Roman and Sacson didn't. We really don't know what happened with Constance in the end, just that she realized bunch of bad things. And I suppose Lucy did succeed in getting that gig she mentioned, because she was not there in the post-credits scene.
  16. Yeah I watched the whole thing yesterday. I wish the show spent more time on that guy who complained about dating shallow women. In episode 3 we see him do better in dating after his therapist makes him realize what he is doing wrong. All of this happens in maybe 45 seconds of screen time, but that would have been a very compelling storyline about self-reflection and getting out of your bad patterns if we were allowed to see it. I will say, Liz was my main reason for sticking with this show. She is an absolute delight and that "rock tumbling" hobby sounds very interesting. I wish we got some close-up shots of the finished rocks she creates, I am sure they look beautiful.
  17. Planning on watching this. I'm happy to read the reception is positive 💙
  18. I heard so much praise for this show, I finally watched ep 1 today and it was SO boring and stupid. And not one bit funny. Christa Miller was the only redeeming factor about whatever this tried to be. I don't know if I should stick with it or just give up, feeling very conflicted right now.
  19. Constance was very entertaining as a boss, it was nice to see her so driven and succeed in the end. And her prom story? Chilling. Henry only succeeding in the end thanks to connections is very true to life. Sadly, that's really how it works. It's who you know, not how talented you are.
  20. I really like Frank and the allusions of his bad childhood. It's relatable and makes us understand why he is the way he is more. I don't agree with Patel, the way he relates to his father is entertanining to watch. It was sweet when Frank and Victoria were amiable in their shared defeat concerning Hot Vet in the end.
  21. Ep 10: Well, I have to give kudos to the show. They wrapped each storyline in a good and satisfying way where the series could continue if it really needed to but if it doesn't, it's perfectly fine since all the stories reached their conclusions. Dee Dee's breakdown scene was so cute 🥺. And I loved that she found a career in the end that worked for her, she is a survivor. About Edward, oh Edward....he was infuriating to watch, and I liked the scene when his brother called him out on being a little bitch (there really is no other way to phrase this haha). He really needed to get himself together and stop being a silent a-hole to everyone around him, and then finally it happened. I was glad to see his behavior begin to improve and his scene with the falafel-merchant was very sweet, and the moment which showed him letting go of his brother was also well-done. And I liked that he even showed Shay some appreciation in the end and that he began communicating with people. I also liked that the wife broke up with the gay guy. He was just deluding himself and would have cheated on her eventually. This is for the best. Although if you think about it in the sense of the series, this guy's entire storyline was very minimal and simplistic, I feel the show wouldn't have been any worse off if it was simply just not included, but okay. The Kojo-Amanda storyline was entirely stupid and even while skipping 90% of their scenes all through the seasons, I had no problem understanding what was going on. That's how cliché it was. Well good for her for getting her win, I guess. Sam ending up with his fiancée was surprising, but it made sense, the girl said Sam was just a way to feel close to his deceased brother and that was a rational explanation. It really isn't a good basis for a relationship, so I get it. In the end the letters lead to nothing big or exciting, which makes sense: there is no big mystery to involve an innocent 12-year-old in. I don't think it was necessary to build the big suspense for these letters over the course of 4-5 episodes, in the end they amounted to almost nothing. But fine, the show did what it wanted to I guess. Overall, I would say this was a good show, even if often infuriating. It was worth the watch just for the Dee Dee storyline, which was perfection. My only critique? We needed more of her!
  22. This interview with Thor's actor is quite interesting, he effortlessly switches between how he actually talks and the Thor accent.
  23. I liked the moment when Rupert told Rebecca that men get tired of the same old thing. You could see it really pierced her soul. Good acting there.
