Well, there really is just one thing to say about this episode: I am not happy they added this intern character. She totally sucks. Waste of screen time & space. [2].

OMG thank you for posting these and reminding me the show exists. Will watch in the coming days.

Oh my. Really not cool to end a season on a cliffhanger like THAT!

That way across the bridge was super tense. The Otto creature reminds me of appa from avatar so much.

S02.E08: And That's the End of It. There's Nothing Else.

We will for sure see this in season 3, since it is Lestat setting the record straight after the lies spread about him in the book. -

I did not enjoy Louis taunting Santiago that way in his "righteous" revenge. At least he finished him quick, I suppose. It was funny (and pathetic) when he tried to make Lestat feel bad by saying he will be with Armand forever (yuck) and Lestat just said "well...enjoy him". Perfect comeback. -
It’s a prequel that doesn’t actually teach us anything new. We barely see anything that happens on day one. It takes place in New York but it could’ve been any random city. What a waste of New York. I was hoping this movie would do a better job at showing the world’s first response to the invasion and how humans learned about the monster’s tendencies. I felt the movie was marketed as a prequel but it very much felt like a solo movie that takes place in the quiet place universe. It was an okay movie on its own, but it was a little misleading to call it “day one.”

Hugh is looking his age. He'll always be a great Wolverine but I think it's time to retire his role to a younger successor after this. Or they need to be more agressive with using de-aging technologies on him.

I am thinking about shows like this, and how this and Tucci's Italy series were quite successful, and were renewed for multiple seasons. At the same time, Eva Longoria did a very similar series about mexico: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16428770/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_3_tt_7_nm_1_in_0_q_eva%20longoria which did not see a tenth of the popularity these 2 shows are receiving. And I wonder why, since it's the same format and same style. I watched all episodes and the cinematography is just breathtaking, the stories are charming and interesting, and it also teaches you about things. Yet, barely anyone watched it. What could be the reason? Are people just not interested in Mexico compared to Italy / Europe? Was there a distribution problem, is it not easily available? Is it marketing, was it not promoted enough? Or is it star power, Tucci and Eugene are bigger draws while Eva isn't? What do you guys think? I find the situation so fascinating.

Shonda said multiple times she finds their story intriguing and she would be happy to explore it someday, but nothing official has been confirmed.

Well, IDK. The Witcher sucks - everyone knows that. The creators hate the source material and the lead actor left because of how much they desecrated it. So in that case the cancellation was reasonable. Netflix was nice enough to give 2 last farewell seasons. Stranger Things - it ends because the showrunners wanted 5 seasons, they themselves planned the story that way. But it is confirmed there will be spin-offs once the main story is concluded. I don't seem them behaving as irrationally as it is trendy to say so online.

Looks like the series just can't give us a normal romance with Janine and Gregory. So exhausting. Showrunner on their relationship in S4:

The actor playing Pruedence's husband made a post on instagram which strongly implies that the Featherington sisters will not appear in any more seasons of the show.

Woodstone Manor: The I-saac Sees All (Spoilers&Speculation)

Wwe know Jay's family may not love Sam so much beyond Bela based on there being 2 group chats, and Sam's not especially close with her Dad either. -
What I am confused about is that the show was apparently doing pretty well and gaining popularity on netflix, but now people are talking of possible budget cuts and this probably being the final season just to wrap things up. But does that make sense from a business standpoint? If the series shows clear potential for growth shouldn't the network and specially Netflix invest in it and promote it more so that it reaches a bigger audience and becomes a big show that can eventually be a part of Netflix's catalouge of successful shows? I am confused because it has been pointed out time and time again that longer series are exactly what they need, that is why Suits was such a big hit for them earlier this year, because it has a lot of episodes and people have a chance to actually get to know and spend time with the characters, none of this "8 episodes every 2 years" crap. Resident Alien was already doing well in that aspect, it released every year with somewhat longer seasons, so it could be a good longer running show and looks like it could become even bigger if they give it some support.

At least we will always have the first two seasons 🥲
-
The showrunner confirmed in a recent interview that they are not doing this, next season will focus on just 1 book. Shonda also said many times she intends to do 8 seasons for the 8 siblings.

I think it is setup for season 4, where it is necessary for her to be on bad terms with the Bridgertons. That is why the friendship with Eloise had to end.
-
People will move on if they make them wait so long all the time...

She gave birth to a stillborn baby. That is why she was thrown out.

That does NOT look good. It looks like a generic anime. Oh well. I hope it will be good somehow in the end.

S02.E05: Don't Be Afraid, Just Start the Tape
Harvey replied to AngieBee1's topic in Interview With The Vampire
Finally, we get the real Armand this episode. Him torturing Daniel was hard to watch, not to mention attempt at hurting Lestat through Louis. It made me sad🥲
