  1. Ever since I was informed about that, it ruined eating scenes in Tv for me 🤣 From what I have seen, only Insatiable and Sex and the City break the rule.
  2. Might be a weird question, but this is something I have been thinking about for years. Does someone know what is this food that they are eating in the bistro? They order it so often, but by the looks of it, it's just cottage cheese served in a plate of cabbage. Which would be just weird. Do you simply leave the cabbage after you are finished with the cottage cheese? (which is not even delicious on it's own). Anyone has any ideas?
  3. Forrest was so adorable in the office with his assistant 🥰 I wonder what his job is. I did not see the "twist" coming but it was really cool, and I loved how Wade's daughters helped him. This show has so much heart, I feel like I'm repeating myself week after week but I just love it. Also, even just in the first 2 episodes I too noticed that Delia can be agressive and dismissive of what Forrest has to say, but I thought that was just their dynamic as a couple. It is good writing that the show actually adressed that.
  4. I loved the little moment when the dog gave Adam a high five and Bonnie was pissed about it 🤣
  5. How come Jonah has 400 $ to give to Mateo when he is mooching off of Amy? He is always too nice to Mateo when he is nothing but a jerk in return.
  6. That means 5 this year so factoring in the christmas break and stuff like that - you get it. The actual season is more than 5 episodes long.
  7. I have no idea. From the episode descriptions released so far it does not seem like he appears. But he was always in just a handful of episodes.
  8. A young girl becomes an orphan after her father's death, and she is forced to move in with her extended family. From there it's the everyday life of Emily much like the Anne books. But Emily has a very different personality - more ambitious and prideful, less friendly - so the tone of the books is different.
  9. I honestly think they are doing things this way because in real life Luisa never remarried.
  10. Blue Castle is my favorite, everything is perfect about it. That tale of emancipation is so beautiful. I desperately want to read all of her journals and the Rubio version, sadly the books are not available in my country. Maybe they will be available in the form of ebooks someday, and then...
  11. Love the Anne books, one of the memorable parts for me was when Gilbert's aunt goes to live with the family and she makes Anne miserable. But by embracing her presence, Anne actually manages to make her want to leave the house. Did anyone read the Emily books on here? I think they are even more fantastic than the awesome Anne books, there is something about Emily's personality and overall story I connected with more.
  12. Dimitria is no longer impressed with Spiros's tricks so he found someone else who is. I had a guy like that once. Once I started seeing through him he wanted to end the relationship to move onto the next one.
  13. I think the big change is in the original ending they got into a huge fight and didn't talk for 18 years. If they both get kids now then they will raise them while remaining very close friends for sure.
  14. For those interested, the interview was also posted on youtube. It's really interesting.
  15. I could not have received a better set of news today. So happy and can't wait. The season trailer is...interesting.
  16. This of course makes perfect sense. However. If she is more of a "free thinker" within her culture there is no reason for her to be insistent on wanting a husband from the "same tribe" since that husband is more likely to have these old-fashioned views she is so opposed to, as shown in this episode as well. There is a contradiction there.
  17. Bash made it last episode for the easter celebration following Mary's instructions.
  18. Just rewatching this fantastic show and I miss Cooper 😞
  19. The description for the next episode seems very interesting. Might be the most stimulating episode yet.
  20. I saw the movie too. As someone who has read the (great) book, so much of the humor was lost in the film adaptation. The cast was changed up in considerable way too. If you liked the movie I highly recommend reading the book it's an easy read and a lot of fun.
  21. The scenes with just Bob and Abishola together are so charming. Their accidental meeting at the bench at the end of the episode was the highlight for me. I find it interesting that Abishol and her Aunt think so differently. Her aunt only wants a man for Abishola for the financial aid it would mean for the family, but Abishola seems to want to be someone she actually likes. But if they are of the same culture shouldn't Abishola have similiar values too where she is primarily focused on a "husband" from the point of view of him being a provider, not a love/soulmate she actually has to like. I read a book about african tribes before where the women thought similiarly to Abishola's aunt and laughed at the american idea that you have to love your husband.
  22. I wouldn't want to see Bob work against Patty the show is at its best when they are together. But also there are no more pageants for Patty to participate in so if there is a third season it would be very different.
  23. I sure do hope we don't see Mary's annoying jerk of a son after this episode. Gosh, what a horrible person. I was rooting very hard for Bash to win in their brawl. Also, I know we are supposed to root for Anne and Gilbert to get together, but Winnifred was just adorable in this episode. All her scenes were very interesting.
  24. I can understand them wanting to protect their skin from the sun.
