  1. That was a really well-done cooking segment, I love how it even had automatic subtitles and all the blue pop up text was timed perfectly. This was much higher quality than a lot of the current live from home broadcast talk show things they currently air on Tv.
  2. Ep 21: I like Miss Kim. It's always fun when they bring her out. I liked the juxtaposition of Calvin and Tina talking about the importance of their sons's safety while they were stuck on that giant wheel. Talk about poignant. I think this is the first time in the show where Dave ever mentioined his father, a pleasant surprise. I was wondering what happened to him. Ep 22: The line about "if I wanted to read I'd get an audio book" was so funny ๐Ÿ˜„ However, the pattern of "Calvin is grumpy and refuses to do the right thing so Tina makes him do it anway" is starting to become really obvious and repetitive, I wish they did something about that next season. On the other hand, his admiraton of Eddie Murphy's choice of air refreshener was adorable ๐Ÿ™‚
  3. You are right that Patrick had a more traditional view of relationships. But that was the entire joke, that he literally had no ground to be upset about David having sex with someone else, because it really seemed like Patrick set up the whole thing.
  4. Thank you for the alert! With so many shows ending recently, it's nice to see something actually coming back.
  5. I watched this week's episode because someone said they will give the main character a make-over in this episode (she needs it so bad). I was disappointed as she looked the same, they just put her in a leather jacket.
  6. They wanted to include the father of Grace's baby in the final season but they couldn't because of scheduling conflicts, that is why she decided to do it solo. The father was Leo, Noah, Nathan or James. Let's keep in mind that in the original run of the show, Leo moved to Italy and Grace mentioned being there too, so I think him being the father is a lot more likely than Noah who is a New York city resident.
  7. I watched the episode because of your comment. The moment when the other painters shared their lunch with Jaime was very touching. And when the mom's ex lover was talking to the sisters was very heartfelt too. Definitely the strongest episode yet.
  8. Girl what? Literally in the quote you posted they say they will bring in a new person ๐Ÿ˜„ I am not trying to pick a fight but what even it is literally there. Obviously the new person does not necessarily need be there forever, it can even be a temporary replacement for laughs like the lots of changing captains in brooklyn 99 if you watch that. It's the same trope with the new character changing up the dynamic of the workplace since there is a lot of humor to be mined from that.
  9. Which interview are you referring to? I just read two and there were no indications for that but if there is some other interview with more info on the upcoming season it would be great to se it. https://www.tvinsider.com/931948/superstore-season-5-finale-amy-leaving-america-ferrera/ https://deadline.com/2020/04/superstore-season-finale-america-ferrera-jonathan-green-gabe-miller-nbc-season-5-1202915009/
  10. Jonah can't be the manager. He doesn't have the qualifications. Amy had to go to that manageer training seminar. But also with the actress's departure, the show will need new blood. I am 100% sure they will bring in a new character to be the new manager.
  11. Dottie was the best part of the episode. She's a loose cannon. A reckless renegade. She plays by her own rules. But then again, rules are meant to be broken. And I have to agree. Kayla's bangs were way too noticeable.
  12. As much as I loved that ending and have watched it multiple times, it frustrates me to no end Amy is (was!) never willing to talk about their relationship or future. Theyโ€™re not dating. They live together and Jonah is helping raise Parker. Thatโ€™s a serious commitment to involve someone in a babyโ€™s life (or it should be). Itโ€™s also weird she was surprised heโ€™d move with her. What did she want to happen if she got that job? Jonah deserved to be looped in.
  13. I love that Karen ended up with Stan. They are clearly perfect for each other. Lorraine Finster's appearance was so fun and unexpected ๐Ÿ™‚ Although I knew it about it well in advance, I was still happy that in the end McCoy and Will got together.
  14. Holt going โ€œSpank that bottomโ€ will be my happy memory to get me through til next season. ๐Ÿ˜„
  15. People accused the actress of abusing cocaine post-divorce but I am not knowledgeable enough about the substance to determine if that is really behind the extreme weight loss.
  16. LoL Taylor thinking she is being taken to the vet was pretty funny. The kiss diversion was my favorite part of the episode, it was great how Taylor had such a horrible idea to distract Greg and yet, Katie made it work ๐Ÿ˜„
  17. I agree that Leo wasn't that amazing. The show mentioned again and again how hot he was, and while he was handsome, it wasn't some out of this world beauty.
  18. It has been a thing since season 1 that Grace has a bad fashion sense and doesn't dress well. Karen often pointed this out through the series and Val did too in the AA episode when Grace pretended to be an alcoholic. People commute all the time and it's fine. Will is a law professor at an university but he is also rich and has lots of saved up money they can probably lean on that as well.
  19. Close to none. These vlog styled shows are not nearly as good or engaging and in normal times people wouldn't stand for it.
  20. Did you guys know that this was the season finale? Because I sure as hell didn't and now I'm sad.
  21. I felt for Jill in this episode, putting on those bed covers just sucks. The little scene with Margerie doing phone sex was hilarious XD. Poor Christie & Jill. They write the friendship between Bonnie and Tammy so well, last episode they had that amazing "none of us can swim let's hug" moment, and now Bonnie gave Tammy an amazing new perspective about her business ventures, which was on point and true. I love how those two take care of each other.
  22. I kept expecting Sandra Bunrheart to appear when Will and Grace went to look at a house. It would have been the ultimate cameo and an amazing continuation of an old joke, she could have cussed them out again ๐Ÿคฃ I hope you guys remember her scenes from the show, they were so good.
  23. That impression of Kevin answering the phone was actually perfect. ๐Ÿ˜„ I'm a little sad next week's episode is the last of the season, this show is so good.
