  1. I really liked this episode, the scenes where Jill was getting along with the girls were so much fun. Please be renewed.
  2. I like that the show is not focused solely on Wade's love life. That would run out of steam after a while. It works better with the shared focus between the families. Forrest's turtle dream was pretty funny 😄
  3. The line about Calvin taking off her wedding ring to wash Angelique was hilarious 😄 . I feel like Dave should have respected Calvin's wishes to get to his car show...he was the guest, after all and Calvin just allowed him to tag along. If he wants to get there in time because he is participating in a competition, that is perfectly understandable.
  4. I think this was the first episode of the show where they really utilized absurd humor (with Dele, Olu and Tunde), and I liked it. Someone mentioned it in last week's discussion thread that if anyone needs a massage, that is Abishola. Well she got a little bit this episode, and it was nice to see 🙂 . I was hoping it would lead to her being a little more relaxed. It was nice that she was willing to apologize. The highlight of the episode was definitely Kemi's rant against the bus people. Just hilarious 😄 .
  5. I too was wondering about that. I know lots of people who got them pierced at a much younger age, I don't know what that was about.
  6. Lots of doctors have a God complex.
  7. Your comment reminded me of that one Will and Grace episode...and then I saw Keywestclubkid already mentioned haha...apparently the presence of gay people raises property value because they organize things so well and keep things neat. I was suprised to see it brought back again.
  8. Once upon a time....there was all this. LMAO. Best line of the episode. I love how much Tina and Calvin are into each other. I liked that they remembered that Gemma grew up in a rural area and therefore she wasn't bothered by the noise. A nice bit of continuity there that shows the writers are paying attention.
  9. I loved the moment when Bob and Abishola finally got along and she was impessed by him making a work call ❤️ So cute. About Goodwin and Kofu...well duh, it is a family business, of course a member of the family will get a higher salary. No point in trying to change that or argue against it.
  10. He is Bonnie's therapist. He appeared in season 7 first and he is so much fun. I hope he will appear again this season.
  11. It was cute how concerned Delia and Forrest were about whether they were or were they not "microagressing". Shannon is just so adorable ❤️ . They did a great job with the casting, I love all of her scenes together with Wade. I just melted when she offered to make the key lime pie for Wade 😍.
  12. I was surprised to see Chef Rudy again, since he was always more connected to Christy's storylines, it is interesting the showrunners decided to keep the character around. It was wonderful to see Bonnie so in love, and working well with Adam. If you think about it, we did watch their relationship go through many hurdles and evolve a lot. About Andy and Jill...it kinda sucks. It's now the second time within the show that Andy completely ditches Jill over a small mistake, what a flake. I understand this was probably written this way because the actor was going to have another job, but do you really want commit to someone who abandons you so easily? I know I wouldn't.
  13. The variety article mentions it has not been doing good enough in ratings last season, so that is probably the reason.
  14. Only 11 episodes left..that is barely anything at all. If it was going to be like this, they could have at least given us a good, fully fleshed out 22 episode final season. I am sad and my day is ruined.
  15. The trailer for the final season is out. It looks so good.
  16. I was wondering if they used a stuntman for that scene with all the jumps, that was very impressive but definitely not easy to do. Next episode is on Jan 13th. So far away 😞
  17. Original air date: 2020. December 2. This is also the winter finale of the season.
  18. You have to give it to her, Gemma did look incredible on their night out. That supportive listening exercise seemed really good. I might try it someday.
  19. It was funny when the only compliment Kemi could come up with for Abishola was that she is tall 😄 . The discussion about Abishola being like each first lady was also cute, and it was nice to see Abishola be happy for once. I agree that this was a really good episode.
  20. That would be just like Katie falling for Greg during her own college days. Same scenario. Like when Oliver was dating Gina Tascadero (?) from Norwalk and Katie made the joke how Oliver fell for her own mother. If they go down that route, then I love how the show creates these parallel lines between the lives of the parents and their children. That sort of thing happens in real life too.
  21. It's frustrating that Anna-Kat is so heavily featured in every episode of this season, since the new actress just sucks. I want to get used to her, but she is completely awful. Most of the time she says a line, you can see that she is pretending.
  22. She just said that to seem strong. At other moments back in S1 there were glimpses of her being desperate for love.
  23. I think the plan will work, but she will not be able to keep it up. And it is understandable if she doesn't want to be loved for impersonating someone else as opposed to being herself. We really could have done without the Kofu / Goodwin scenes. They were so dumb. Like what is the point?
