  1. I'm torn.... I fluctuate.... I'm not sure I believe Brooke's has cancer. I hate being doubtful. Then I think, it's Crooks. He's lying. Then I feel bad. Who would lie about that? However, there ARE sick people who DO lie about that. My adult son was with a girfriend who lied to all of us that she was dying from cancer. Suffice to say, we went through months of caring for her and her two young children, visiting a palliative care hospice, saying final goodbyes, to finally finding out it was all false. These few sentences cannot convey how much we went through and how dishonest she was... But she she seemed so credible until the end when she got busted. I just hope Brooks is being honest. Ps. I am an intelligent, educated woman.... I guess I don't expect to be lied to on such a grand scale, so it was easy (???) to be preyed on by an unwell person (or an unscrupulous person).
  2. Heather doing a walk through her new house construction site with the builder.... And just gleefully accepting all of his budget blow outs? Made me think of Bethenny (in her post RHoNYC show) busting, yes BUSTING, the balls of her builder to keep him on or below budget! Heather: blindly accepting all budget increases without question does not make you look like a fabulously wealthy whatever you want to look like.... It makes you look ridiculous. Wealthy people keep their wealth by being tight with their wealth! I love Heather and love seeing her on this show but she just keeps giving me too much to snark on! Oh, and Tamra pre charity party and pre makeup artist had NO eyelashes. None!
  3. I actually enjoy Heather's pretentiousness because she seems to deliver it with tongue in cheek. However, I recently mentioned her faux pax re her inaccurate "Porte-cochere" description so I feel duty bound to mention her mis-pronunciation of "méthode champenoise". If you pronounce it correctly it is not method with a TH. It is not meTHod, it is pronounced metod. T not th. I like being more fancy pants than Ms Fancy Pants!
  4. Just watched the ep. Jumping in here at page 4... I haven't read any posts yet but I just HAVE to get this off my chest: "Hey, don't boss me around in my suite Babe!" You go Luanne! Put Jane Fonda, I mean Ramona, back in her box! Now I'll go and read all the posts, and no doubt see others have already commented on that moment! Edit: read all the posts. No one has mentioned that moment. Oh well, I thought it was funny!
  5. Kristen acted the fool in her nail polish business meeting... All the giggling, pearl clutching, over the top reactions to Carole's name suggestions were ridiculous. You are in a business meeting...act professional. Disagree with suggestions without the need to pretend to vomit. Idiot.
  6. I haven't finished watching the episode or read any posts yet but wanted to jump in with an observation (before I forget!). (Apologies if I'm breaking into a particular discussion)... Re editing mash ups: At the dinner party when Bethenny made her toast, I paused to see who was sitting where at the table. During the toast Heather and Kristen had swapped seats with Kristen now next to Heather's hubby opposite Bethenny and Heather sitting at the end of the table next to Kristen's douche man. Then, immediately after the Bethenny toast footage, they show Heather's 'reaction' while she is sitting opposite Bethenny! I so dislike the way the editing monkeys are trying to spin things. Just give us honest footage please. And....once again Bethenny gets to explain herself via a post-dinner TH but Heather doesn't. If anyone thinks my comments are because I 'love' Heather and 'hate' Bethenny....for the record I enjoy watching both of them on my tv. I like and dislike many attributes in both of them. I just want a fair representation of what is occurring with them all...WE the viewers can make up our own minds thank you very much.
  7. I felt squicky when Vicki kept stroking Crooks hair during their salad meal. While you're eating?! I was so sure her hand was getting all greasy :(
  8. Humble Heather and her porte-cochère.... Too funny! Fine, you and your twit husband have ostentatious and pretentious aspirations, but this example is so impractical! They were/are designed for carriages/these days cars, to pull up under cover for passengers to alight and make their way into the building with protection from the weather. They are meant for chauffeured vehicles. The vehicle and driver do not park there. It's not a carport where you park your car. How the hell does that work with a modern family that surely drives their own cars? Unless the whole family is chauffeured? I'm ok with grandiosity but can you make the grandiose feature fit a real life in some way? Yolanda's refrigerator is over the top but I love it! It's pretentious but it fits her life/lifestyle. I admire it instead of laughing at it! Maybe because she doesn't brag about it.... Maybe that's the difference? Ps. Weren't Heather and Terry calling the porte-cochère something else last season? Pps. Just found the Wikipedia definition, including this bit: "In modern usage, porte-cochères are still used on some types of buildings such as major public buildings and hotels, where they provide pick-up and drop-off space, for example for dignitaries, taxis and buses." Bwah ha ha!
  9. It's just that Heather has an A type personality. You know the kid at school who just had to be perfect and follow all the rules? And everyone else should too? Authority is her middle name. Couple that with good intentions equals Heather trying to 'help' Bethenny. As an aside, the need to control can often manifest in those who are raised in situations where there are difficulties that they cannot control. So the need to control something becomes a personality trait. No idea of Heathers upbringing so I can't correlate anything here. Bethenny has a 'victim but I'm tough now' personality so authority completely rubs her the wrong way. Bethenny sees the authority assertions from Heather but cannot see the good intentions behind it all. I have some leanings toward the A type need to control, be in charge, or sort everyone out (I'd self diagnose my childhood for that). But I'm also very sensitive, caring, will do anything for others. So I can see where Heather is coming from. One thing that drives me NUTS is being misunderstood. I think that might explain Heathers reactions during dinner and how she tried to take Beth away to sort it all out away from the others. It especially explains her tears when she sat back down after Beth didn't want to go away and talk. Heather, in her own way (right or wrong) is trying with Beth with good intentions. Beth isn't reading Heather in the way Heather is expecting/hoping she will. Frustrations from both ensue. I just wish Beth would hear Heather out. Oh, and another example of Beth getting a TH about the dinner but Heather didn't.
  10. I started to write a post wondering about what Caitlyn's kids will call her and about how difficult it must be to call 'Dad' something different. Would a transitioning woman want to still be called 'Dad'? But that made me think more about how difficult it would be to have your father actually be someone different. However, are Bruce and Caitlyn different? Are they the same person? Then I started to feel like Alice falling down the rabbit hole so I deleted everything I wrote. (It was way more detailed than this summary!). It's all too deep and confusing and thought provoking for me today! Plus, I only ever see what is portrayed in the public domain, so I would never get any resolution to my questions/musings!
  11. Just screened here in Australia so I'm liking all of your posts late. But they certainly made me laugh... And enjoy my viewing even more! That baby will NOT get the brief that special snowflake mummy Nadine needs her sleep. Poor Erik will probably need to be mum and dad. And be the one on night duty.
  12. Late to comment as this just screened in Australia... What the heck was MJ doing with the can of whipped fake cream? Eating the fake cream or getting high off the aerosol? (I've recently learnt about 'huffing' to get high from Real Housewives of Bev Hills. Kim Richards apparently huffs. The things you learn from the reality TV junk I watch!) I also thought Jessica was behaving like an overacting fool but I guess she had to have a ton of adrenaline pumping through her body at the time!
  13. I don't like being treated like a fool.... I'd rather have a show that is honest about how those outfits get made. I don't care if someone else is sewing them. I'd still enjoy watching the contestants work with a seamstress to get the look they want.
  14. If Ginger can't sew who the heck is sewing her outfits? They are not hot glued outfits.
  15. I totally agree with you Ottergirl, about the way THs can skew the narrative. Bethenny is certainly getting to explain her point of view All. The. Time. I prefer a more balanced approach where we the viewers hear all points of view. That makes for a richer program. Kinda liked Luanne's zingers this Ep. When she found out Carole's frozen pastries were three years old and Carole defended being honest about their age for the sake of transparency....Luanne said she wished they were opaque! When John (finally) came back to the table, Luanne told Romana to move out of his chair and back to a chair next to her "so I can choke you myself" ha ha! I somewhat respected the awkward agreeing NOT to hug despite the upset/emotions with Bethenny and Carole at the store. At least they own their weird awkwardness and lack of emotional empathy. And... Carole actually still does have a kitchen post renovations. Such a teaser! She wasn't going to get rid of her kitchen! [sarcasm here].
  16. I agree that Happy Scott is great TV viewing.... however, road rage Scott spitting toward the moron driver is awful to see. I can somewhat forgive it since the spit actually landed all over Jonathon! Ha!
  17. Just aired in Australia, I Pinky Swear, so my 'likes' of your posts are current for me/old for you.... Sorry! While I do not like the setting (a large party) and the motivation (I'm pissed at your Instagram pic tweaking) of GG's attack at Mike.... I believe her. GG doesn't have the maturity to talk to Mike one on one...she needed to be pissed off enough to blurt it out. Plus she needed to blurt it out when she had others around her for support, especially others that she had already informed. I don't condone... That's just my perspective.
  18. That scene of Sonja working out in her bathroom (in her bathroom!!!) with the intern bringing her shoes, and all the other interns, and all the racks of clothing, and the dog bowls, and the clutter.... Boy oh boy! There must have been a Swami or a High Priestess there somewhere just off camera.
  19. I certainly do not watch for NeNe.... She is too big for her boots these days. I find her disdain insulting to us the viewers because WE are the reason she wangled any further TV/stage work.
  20. I thought the PL security staff were trying to escort her out when Kim 'had' to go to the bathroom and the police were called when she wouldn't come out of the bathroom? I hope that's the way it happened. Otherwise, the scenario looks bad for the police if THEY let her go to the bathroom.
  21. Khloe bought them for Bruce before she found out he is transitioning in Spring. I think she thought he was only going as far as cross dressing, so was having fun with the 'hooker shoes' as a way of expressing that she was supporting his desire to dress as a woman. Now she realises he IS transitioning, I don't think she will really think they are his type of shoes!
  22. I am soooooo wondering what Janet has on Gamble!
  23. I don't swear in real life (truly) but FUCK OFF NeNe. Eff off and take your brown nose pseudo therapist with you (I am a Bachelor of Behavioural Science, Psychology, and I do NOT condone his 'therapy'. To me, he is acting like a TV whore and not a therapist. I did not see any bonfide group therapy. Instead, he was a NeNe apologist. He couldn't even pretend to be a therapist who was interested in each of the women's perspectives, which is what a group therapy session (and the subsequent reunion) should have entailed. I DO NOT KNOW how Kenya kept it together given her own mother abandonment issues. Kenya actually articulated support to NeNe . Wow. Good on you Kenya. Take away message from this episode: therapy should not be on camera. When we know a camera is on us we act differently.
  24. Some thoughts: Pettifluer got OWNED by the woman she calls stupid: Gamble! That's gotta hurt! There's a practicing Barrister who thinks its ok to make a throw away line that she will "have to stab them" about her Housewives colleagues/co stars if they are negative about her autobiography on social media? Ok then. Chykka finally pointed out what we all (maybe not all, but lots ok?) think.... That Gina never owns up to any wrongdoing. It kinda got lost in the fray, but brownie points for mentioning it Chykka! Face pulling prize is awarded to....... Jackie!! Can't wait to hear which term Gamble calls Pettifluer (?) that Janet doesn't know!
