  1. So little Laura and Sam! Guess there wasn't much of a plot to focus on with them. I don't know what to make of those two. Poor Toi. I feel sorry for her with the lupus. It looks horrible I love her with Rouvaun and hope they have a happy life together. Too much Nadine and Erik! What a cute baby, though. I think they will be devoted parents, but I fear that Erik will end up shouldering more of the burden. I also suspect that things are going to get tough for Nadine once that baby is able to talk back. Anyone follow Nadine's (non-Bravo) blog? I've followed her for years. It strikes me as so strange that she would choose to go on a reality show where she was contractually bound to keep quiet about such huge milestones in her life, especially considering that she built her brand on being an oversharer (her words!). Anyway, she has a post up about how she hid her entire pregnancy and baby for the better part of a year. I can't even imagine! Seems like this would have hurt her brand more than helped it, but maybe not...
  2. Agreed re: the pregnancy cliffhangers; it's getting to be too much. Is it just me, or was Laura's writing not good at all? Or maybe it's just that I can't stand her. However, she and Sam fascinate me because they seem so wrong for each other and dysfunctional. Kirk and Laura are cute. Same with Toi/Rouvaun. Not much else to say about them. Then there's Nadine and Erik. I don't think Nadine was playing up her anxieties for the camera. She seemed truly distraught. I felt bad for her! This is probably just a Bravo thing, but why is everyone they profile upper-middle-class to flat-out rich? Sam's family money, Erik and Nadine's 50K travel budget... I wouldn't mind seeing a middle-class couple.
  3. It's been 24 hours and no posts on last night's episode? Okay, I'll start: *Toi and Rouvaun are sweet and stable. That doesn't make for the most interesting plot on a reality TV show, but that's okay. They're the most likely to last of these four, IMO. Rouvaun strikes me as practical and grounded, and I suspect that Toi is playing up her financial woes for the camera to give them a plotline. I have a feeling she's equally grounded IRL. Anyway, they're cute. *Sam and Laura... ugh. Laura has such a coldness to her. It's funny -- when the show started, I thought Sam was trouble and Laura was getting walked all over, but now I'm not so sure. Laura can be very mean. That said, the news about her eggs was surely devastating. I just wish she had reacted in a kinder way when Sam was trying to be understanding after the appointment. *Nadine and Erik are just ridiculous. Erik seems nice enough, but Nadine is SUCH a snob. Are they serious that they're only saving 5% of their income? That seems really low considering all their conspicuous consumption. I assumed they were saving more. And they want to budget 30-50K a year on travel!? Also, did you catch how Nadine said that they'll bring someone with them when they go on vacation? I think a nanny is going to be a non-negotiable for her, especially since she refuses to be woken up (how is that going to fly once the baby arrives?). You could practically see the panic in Erik's eyes as he realized what he had gotten himself into. Also, you do not need to spend 10K to have a baby unless you're shopping at a ridiculously expensive LA boutique with designer baby clothes... but I digress. *Kirk and Laura are really cute. I didn't care for Kirk in the first few episodes, but now I'm seeing a softer side to him, and they seem to have such a solid relationship. I'm glad that they're having a baby and all seems to be well.
