I agree. Anger. She stabbed Marina in the back, all for Colin? Even a blind man could see that Colin only saw her as a little sister. Talk about romantic delusions.
-
Tricking him is bad in 2020, but in 1813, I can see why Marina did it. What choice did she have? Penelope was an awful, awful person. Penelope was a scumbag because she supposedly liked Marina, and then outed her. Some fucking friend. She's one of those people who hurts others because her own life is crap. Scumbag is right. What was that final shot about? Seeing the bee in the window? Did Simon inherit the Featherton estate?

I'm watching it now. Bridgerton. I'm loving it. I'm also loving Queen Charlotte. At first I thought it was Mya Rudolph playing her. Some people seem to have issues with the casting, but I think those people might have issues with their bigotry. I mean it's like when it come to black folks, people have no imagination. I'm confused. What character are you talking about?
-
True, that's what she should have said. I don't think anybody ever believed she was serious. So why the binder? It was like someone saying, "water is wet." And I have ZERO respect for any woman who comments that Gizelle "can't keep a man." Any woman who says shit like that is garbage in my book.

RHoP In The Media: What's Going Down in the DMV
Neurochick replied to a topic in The Real Housewives Of Potomac
I am about ready to stop watching Bravo altogether. Since Discovery is going to have an app, there might not be a reason to have cable at all. -
Correct. If you look at Monique's logic, if a woman is abused/raped/whatever, it's all HER fault. I wonder if she will teach that shit to her daughter.
-
In my post, I'm not blaming Gizelle for Jamal's behavior, as Monique did. I would just ask Gizelle why did she decide to take "cheater, cheater pumpkin eater back."
-
I think Monique is a very angry woman. The binder. Who does shit like that? Someone who has REAL serious resentments, that's who. I would not have brought some dumbass binder to go up against Gizelle. For one, I have more interesting things to do with my time than waste it on some fucking binder. And two, I would have told Gizelle, "Gizelle, how in the world can you be with Jamal when you called him 'cheater, cheater pumpkin eater' in season one....AND there is a Gif of you saying it! Either Jamal is a fool or you are, which is it?" Drops mike.

So Leva should just shut up and enjoy it?

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage
Neurochick replied to Maverick's topic in Commercials
???? I thought that commercial was some sort of acid trip, but I never thought it had anything to do with pedophilia. -
Is Simone in this season? I'm confused as to why she was mentioned. Rachel is a piece of work, in any other profession she'd be fired for that mouth.
-
That is what confuses me about Tarik. He seems to be the primary care giver for his daughter. His daughter has special needs, she needs structure. Why find a woman in another country, a woman who's primary language isn't English, to be the step mother to his special needs daughter? I don't get him at all.

S13.E03: Ten Ten, Twenty Twenty
Neurochick replied to TexasGal's topic in The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
I was speaking about black women on this show, I never mentioned white women. The difference is that white men and women marry outside their race at about the same rate, not so with black men and women, so it's harder for black women. -
Say What?: Commercials That Made Us Scratch Our Heads
Neurochick replied to Lola16's topic in Commercials
True. But if I saw a bunny trying to get into the theater, I might have doubted what I saw. -

Alice in Wonderland? Acid Trip? Both? Not nice of the guy to slam the door in the rabbit's face but maybe it's because he's the only person in the commercial NOT on acid. 😁 -
S13.E03: Ten Ten, Twenty Twenty
Neurochick replied to TexasGal's topic in The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
There is a really good book called "Is Marriage For White People?" It was written in 2012, by Ralph Richard Banks. He goes by stats, numbers and explains why it's so hard for black women. Black men marry outside their race, three times (maybe more) that of black women. Black men have too many options and black women have too few. -
I think Monique is frustrated because she wants to have an empire like Ayesha Curry and might have thought the show would have launched that for her. The problem is that Ayesha Curry's husband is still playing basketball, while Monique's husband is not playing football. Ayesha is a "basketball wife" but Monique is not a "football wife." I don't know if anybody knew who she was before this show. If Monique were smart she'd get the hell off this show because these shows really aren't kind to relationships and marriages. I detest Monique, but I wouldn't want to see her marriage break up because of this show.

I have a feeling we're not going to see anything else in the binder, if anything else was really in there. She just brought it for Gizelle. 😄

S13.E03: Ten Ten, Twenty Twenty
Neurochick replied to TexasGal's topic in The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
But if the show is supposed to show their "real lives", BLM and COVID are part of it. The only way they could have avoided COVID and BLM is if they hadn't filmed at all this year, but IMO, that would have been very dishonest, and ignoring the "elephant in the living room" meaning what has happened this year. Like it or not both COVID and BLM are a part of many people's lives. -

I don't get Cynthia at all. She wants to have a BIG wedding to show her friends and family that "SEE, I have a MAN and this time he's the RIGHT one!" That's vapid period, but now, during COVID it's beyond vapid, it's stupid and inconsiderate. They can get married on 10/10/2020, have a small wedding, and have a big blowout when everything returns to normal, because you know that eventually it will. -
But my point was just because a woman married a man who has been married before, doesn't mean that everything should be thrown to the wind. My feeling about the birth control is that I can see why the parents would be concerned BUT, they need to take that up with THEIR son. "Brandon, you don't have the money to take care of a baby now, so wrap it up kid." The way they talked to Julia was as if she was going to engage in birth tourism.
-
Yes, I've noticed that.

What folks don't get is that everything is progressive. Good behavior and bad behavior. An example is The Bad Girls Club. It started off silly and then progressed into a show where you watched only FOR the fights. The show probably would be on today had not Oxygen got either a new program director or a new owner who decided to revamp the entire network. I would not be surprised if something like that happens with Bravo.
-
So, just because you marry a man whose been married before means anything goes? I have to disagree. My home, my rules, you don't like it leave. I think Brandon should tell his parents, "okay, we're getting married NOW." Now that would be great TV. I think Pillow Talk will probably be only on the Discovery app. I detest Tariq. He has a special needs daughter and is going to bring a stranger in to take care of her? I don't like Tariq because he reminds me of black men I know who won't lift a finger for a black woman but would turn themselves into a pretzel for non black women. Just saying.

And I think that's why social media might be the death of this franchise. Because of social media, people find out what's happening on these shows months before the shows even air. If it's "such a little check" then Monique really doesn't need the money. Why is she on the show at all then? If Chris has SO much money, why not give the money to charity?
