  1. Right. I just don't root for any of his other exes. I don't feel like I know Sophie. I liked Sloan, but the show forgot about her entirely. Olivia was trash. Cassidy seems to not like Kevin very much. I don't know who I want him married to if it's a character we already know. He burns bridges.
  2. I think Kevin ends up with Zoe. Because no one said that yet (I'm only on page 4) and his kids aren't little in the flash forward. So she can still travel with or without Kevin. She won't even have to do much raising of the kids. Their breakup was so amicable.
  3. As long as I get to see my dude Parker again, I'm so ready for that storyline.
  4. Emily Osment was my guess too. She has an amazing voice and pretty cool story. I'd really like to see it be her. Always rooting for her. I have no other guesses. Oh, I thought Tabitha Brown was the teddy bear or whatever.
  5. So at least it wasn't the guy who made us all fear the reveals. That's kinda all I have to say.
  6. That football guy was sexy. But never have heard of him in my life *googles if he's single* Jorge seemed a bit disappointed that no one guessed him. I admit, I haven't been getting attached to any singers. Well, I'm not rooting for any male singers until you-know-who is eliminated.
  7. Looks like that will be fully resolved in the next episode. They showed flashing lights and Randall with his hands raised at the gate they hopped.
  8. Their conflict was one as old as time. The dad thinks he supports his family by fattening the bank account. The mom thinks its better to support the kids by just being there and making memories with them. It's not a dealbreaker, it's more like the entire plan of the patriarchy. Of course I'm on Kate's side. I've seen crappy husbands justify their absenteeism on the need to make more money. There needs to be a balance because no amount is ever "enough" money. Nor can you have the healthy/safe bonding with your family without financial safety (ex: being homeless is rarely a good experience for families). Proud of her for getting up that hill and finally finishing something she started.
  9. Yeah, my people were not free in America in 1776. So, you may want to zoom out to say, 1865...
  10. Okay, first, no. Parents who feed their children aren't inherently bad. But let's all stop acting like picky eating is a flaw of the parents or the child. I'm a chicken tender kid. There are many reasons kids won't eat certain foods. My father does not do "picky eaters" and he saw my lack of food variety as something he did wrong. Well, no, he blamed my mom for being a "short order cook" for me. There were usually 4-5 nights a week in my pre-puberty years that I went to bed without dinner. This was because of the TRASH advice of "don't eat this? You get nothing" from ignorant pediatricians in the 90s. 1. I became anorexic. 2. I hated my father. 3. Turns out I am on the autism spectrum and my aversion to "mushy" food is not just a preference. I have and will spit out food even as an adult because it's so disturbing to me to chew the wrong texture. My brain is different, it's not a lack of willpower. 4. Almost every food that I refused (like egg, cheese, red meat) ended up being foods I'm allergic to. I stopped eating eggs at 2 years old and only found out this year that I'm allergic. All of this to say, most parents are doing their best. Rebecca did what everyone would have recommended and Kate is 400 pounds. A chicken tender didn't cause that. I'm at a healthy weight now, have mended things with my father, and will eat all the chicken I want. What would arresting anyone accomplish? The kid's still going to have food preferences. Kids know themselves well.
  11. The best ending. The show died for me alongside Lexie and Mark.
  12. I don't know who that person was that they unmasked.
  13. Greg Daniels, this show's creator, has said many times that he enjoys writing himself into a corner on season finales. He says it gives him motivation over the summer (when working on network TV) to knock it out of the park in the premiere and early season episodes. For example: at the time of filming the season 1 finale, my guess is Greg had not yet decided if Ingrid actually died. This model worked great for The Office and Parks and Rec because they had long seasons to untangle the knots he'd tie. But this season was 1. Too short and 2. Felt like maybe the first 3 episodes of a 10 episode season and 3. Confusing, honestly Nora's avatar wig was trash. Choak being the villain/killer was what everyone thought in the first place. The killer is the person you most suspect I'd love to know why they changed actresses for Ingrid's grandma.
  14. Parker disappeared around the time covid hit the series. I miss him. I loved Parker
  15. He's her boss' boss' boss. I forgot what his job is. But I think she would have his number for work.
  16. I'm her age and she doesn't look like me or any of my peers. That's a woman who likes the sun and is in her 40s. Or maybe her age is right and she just chain smoked for a decade. That's the only smokeshow I see. Re: Shake on the wrong dating show... Guys. Shake isn't a ten, but he wants girls that are. He thought his personality alone would get him the petite blonde of his dreams faaaaar out of his league. But didn't realize he is uglier on the inside than outside. Shake wants "love" to be "blind" when the girls look at him. But he wants it to be "blurry" when he looks at them. Aka, he went on this show to find love. He didn't pick the wrong show, he's just damn near unloveable with or without blinders on.
  17. No. What? We could not have been watching the same show. Tell me what Shayne, Shake, or Salvador were "giving" their brides Also, Deeps didn't seem bitter in the least. She was just proud of herself. Happiest I've seen her.
  18. Shake isn't attracted to her because Shake is attracted to assimilating. Deepti is the opposite of that. His initial attraction to her had no chance going up against his subconscious self-hate.
  19. Do you mean Jessica, age 34 and Mark, age 24?! Lol
  20. Well I know of a wonderful peds surgeon in NY. And an ortho god if you want them both at the same time 😉 (they are a pair)
  21. Yes. It was during the season when Randall ran for office. It was the story of her dad passing away and her quitting ballet after his death. First time we met her mom, played by Phylicia Rashad was (I think) that same episode. She looked good to me. I usually can't stand bad dancing, so she def didn't suck.
  22. Yeah, Sara is hot, they've been hot since Greys Anatomy. I'm very into nonbinary people these days. Combination of androgyny and a lack of toxic masculinity. *chefs kiss* Sweet spot. But since I know very few nb folks in real life, I do technically remain (reluctantly) heterosexual.
  23. My mama slapped me once. I was fourteen and shouted at her in the car "I hate you!" I EARNED that slap. My mother is not abusive and has never hit me before or after that. The point of the slap was that parents aren't perfect either. It wasn't a start of Rebecca (or my Ma) becoming abusive. It's the heat of the moment and both mother and daughter acting out of character. I consider both me and my mother to be non-violent or anti-violent. Doesn't mean we are perfect. Also, it didn't hurt. It just snapped me out of entitled bitchy teen mode.
  24. Deja was always bright. She just didn't have structure before. The teacher even said she should skip a grade a few seasons back. Intelligence isn't determined by social status. She was smart the whole time. My aunt let my cousin quit school at 17 to go be with her boyfriend (a decision made right after losing her virginity to him... so this storyline is very realistic to me!) and now that cousin is divorced from her crazy abusive husband (the high school boyfriend) AND she has no work experience or education. She is now 35 applying at Chick Fil A because her mom let her think with her hormones at 17. Bad bad parenting.
  25. I have a strangely high amount in common with Madison. Including being in recovery from an eating disorder (we're also the same age and have the same jobs) and yes. This is correct. I never ask for food. But if extra shows up, that's usually the only time I'll eat in front of people. I'd say this was a great tip.
