  1. Daisy is not the Bachelorette. She turned it down. Somehow they skipped over Daisy, Rachel, Maria, and Lexi and went with…Jen. Who’s Jen you might ask? I only recall one scene of her this entire season in which she was completely disinterested in a synchronized drone show created just for her.
  2. So Jesse and Jen are both telling us outright she’s a diversity pick. Okay, fair—long overdue to have an Asian lead. But this is still on the show for only casting one Asian woman and then sticking us with her. Granted, she’s showing more personality than we’ve seen from her all season, but “shots” is not a personality trait. This is worse than Ken’s job being “just beach” in the Barbie movie. Jen is just shots. We sure as hell know it’s not drones! The only thing I know about her is it’s not drones!
  3. Jen?!? Don’t bother programming any drone displays. Nothing’s going to impress this one. Though, she’s showing more personality now than we’ve seen from her all season.
  4. No, they didn’t. Just my speculation on why Rachel had an upset reaction when they called Daisy back out in the context of bachelorette. Rachel looked angry and like she was yelling at someone.
  5. Damn. Daisy really is Right Reasons. She turned down the opportunity to star on a whole season of television.
  6. Daisy said no?! Okay, maybe that’s why Rachel is pissed because they did tell her it’s her and she thought they were pulling it from her at the last minute.
  7. Did Rachel just find out it’s not her?!? She looked pissed shaking her head and seemingly yelling at someone when they introduced Daisy as Bachelorette.
  8. Wait, Gerry and Theresa get a trip to Italy. Someone else got a freakin down payment on a house, but Joey and Kelsey get…an all-expenses paid trip to Jasper National Park. Um. Okayyy.
  9. I think I might agree with Jesse that Joey is the best bachelor ever. I’m just really impressed how Joey, Kelsey, and Daisy handled this whole thing. They’ve restored my faith in humanity. I don’t think we’ve seen such Right Reasons contestants since the creation of social media. Team Right Reasons (for the first time in 22 years)!
  10. Daisy’s hair was frizzy this whole episode from the Mexican humidity. Her hair and makeup are professionally done and perfectly polished. And that dress! Wowzas!
  11. You came into my life for a reason [so I can be Bachelorette].
  12. I agree. I’m usually cynical, but i think these two have a real shot. There seems to be genuine love between them (that even Daisy saw). This doesn’t seem to be just the usual Stockholm Syndrome, made-for-TV “engagement.”
  13. Daisy earned Bachelorette. Let her have her moment. John can show up at the mansion like Nick Viall or Chris Bukowski before him.
  14. Oh, damn. Why am I crying? Good news, we absolutely won’t need to put up with a Maria season (just Paradise).
  15. Why is Kelsey in the car first?!? Oh, Daisy is driving, too. They are in the car together?!? Whaat?!? I am dying! Bachelor First, indeed!
  16. Daisy, Kelsey, and Joey are just all such genuinely sweet and kind people! Maybe we really are watching a Hallmark movie. The way Daisy and Kelsey were both just crying for each other and wishing the best for each other. I guess it’s kind of an odd situation, but they really do seem like they’ve become best friends.
  17. I have to say, as a typical Wrong Reasons viewer, this is really playing my heartstrings to see Joey obviously so in love with Kelsey, compared to most recent seasons where they play up being in love with two people and basically acting like they’re flipping a coin to see who they’ll propose to.
  18. Oh, fuck. The night portion of their date was even worse. Walk me out, indeed. Good news, Daisy, is that they’ll absolutely give you Bachelorette after that.
  19. Daisy is getting the love guru date?!? Oh, no, this is usually reserved for #3 whom the lead has 100% friend-zoned and only got dragged along to fill the space. Damn. Even Daisy knows getting this date means it’s not her! “My wish is that we both find happiness whether it’s together or individually. I feel so happy to get to have known you and I wish you nothing but the best.” Damn! This man is telling her outright good-bye forever, Daisy!
  20. Hey, gang! I started about 15 minutes late, but there have been enough commercial breaks and serious commentary from Jesse to FF through that I’m almost caught up. Joey is all Kelsey! The way he looks at her and talks about her. With Daisy, it’s a little creepy in a “disabled hero” kind of commentary. I felt bad for Daisy crying to Joey’s mom. Then again, they always edit to make the loser seem like the more obvious choice—but maybe that’s what the whole mother-in-law crying fest was with Daisy! Oh, yes! Kelsey is saying she thinks she’s ready and sis is questioning it, so she is getting the iffy edit—including Kelsey saying he would make a good choice with Daisy! But despite all this, Joey’s face says it all. As Jesse reminded me, I’ve been watching this show 22 years to the day, so I have enough experience to know that all of this editing—including the potential dramatic ending—means he’s 100% engaged to Kelsey for 6 to up to 18 months.
  21. I was just pointing out there is a whole different TV show that has “prison grooms,” but somehow it’s not represented in Google so it doesn’t count. This is a false equivalency either way. It has nothing to do with the show. I am shocked that this entire board hasn’t been “red zoned” or at least “yellow zoned” with the way these threads have devolved into the use of slut-shaming slurs and other types of derogatory assumptions and insults about what these people must “really” be like offscreen. Like, jeez, people, can we just keep to what we see onscreen? We have very clear new guidelines about inclusivity and respectful speech, and some of what is posted on this board in the last few weeks is absolutely appalling. These are real people on this show. Yeah, we can be a little silly in our comments on what we see onscreen. But a few people on this board make repeated assumptions and character assassinations about things they just somehow “know” by looking at them (eg, Becca is lazy and smells) and then not only that but bringing those presumptions out of the show and commenting on overall society (eg, Emily is a slut who has had X number of one-night stands and obviously no man wants to marry a slut). It would be one thing if these comments were just posted once, but the judgmental posters just keep posting these same assumptions and rants over and over again. Can we just talk about what we’re seeing on our screens per episode? #communityconcerns
  22. You apparently have missed out on Love After Lockup. It’s pretty evenly split with men and women on the outside marrying/pursuing female/male inmates.
  23. Thank you, @CM-CrispMtAir! To avoid any confusion, the show is just called “The Valley,” not “Vanderpump Valley.”
  24. Oh, Annemarie, that must be a tough pill to swallow. 😉
  25. When Emily was video chatting her friend about their upcoming vacation, the friend said she would give Emily the room when she hooked up with guys—seemingly implying this is a standard practice on their girls’ trips. Emily said she’s turning over a new leaf and won’t be hooking up with guys on this trip. I posted that comment because I got a little snarky in a prior thread in response to the insinuation that Emily “loves” one night stands. All around there’s been a lot of assumptions about what these people are like in real life (including their disposition, work ethic, and body odor?!), and it’s frankly kind of ridiculous. However, the commentators were right about that one, I guess.
