I just saw an episode of season 3 on Friday and the chemistry between Alyssa and Shannen is electric. There is no hint of them at war with each other behind the scenes. Not to mention, the episodes that Shannen directed Alyssa in were outstanding.. It just pisses me off that it could not continue in season 4 and beyond. What a shame!

It would have also made sense to have Kate protect Lucas and framing Jennifer for Daniel's death and given Kate's history with the Hortons via her scandalous affair with Bill the fallout from the truth would have been dynamite..

I always hated how the show trashed the Victor/Philip relationship because Philip was the only child that Victor got to raise from infancy to adulthood. Victor already had a strain relationship with Bo why repeat it with Philip. It never made any sense to me and it was always out of character for Victor to have treated him like garbage. Philip should have been the apple of his eye and his heir apparent.. The Victor/Philip relationship should have mirrored the one that he had with Justin. The Victor/Isabella relationship was an interesting one. She too like Bo rejected him as her father and kept him at arms length because she witnessed his despicable acts against the Brady family and Carly who was her best friend. She had papa Shawn walk her down the aisle when she was going to marry John because she said that Shawn treated like her like she was his daughter when she was with Rojohn and never stopped even after Roman came back. I always got a kick at the fact that Victor's biological children preferred Shawn over him. It was Karma...lol Victor had his oldest children with married women while being best friends with their husbands. It was why Shawn despised him and it was also why Ernesto Toscano who raised Isabella believing that she was his daughter targeted Victor Bo Isabella because they were Kiriakis and he "killed" Hope because she was a Kiriakis through marriage. Ernesto's revenge in the end did kill Isabella because his poisoning of her led to the cancer that took her life..

Megan's son was a few hours old and was called a chimpanzee by these people but she is supposed to accept that with a stiff upper lip because it makes people uncomfortable to expose the racism in Great Britain.. According to these people, Megan is this mixed blood harlot who seduced Prince Harry away from his family. They have called her every vile name in the book and nearly drove her to suicide but she is supposed to shut up and go away because the ugly truth about racism makes certain people uncomfortable. Megan has every right to tell her story and it does not surprise me at all that she is still being persecuted by these people. Megan said it herself she spent all her life enjoying her light-skinned privilege as an ambiguous mixed woman in her podcast with Mariah Carey and it was not until that she married Harry that she got a taste at what it is like to be treated like a Black woman. She was not protected by the royal family like Sunny said today. Megan was ignored mocked dismissed and made to feel like she did not matter and that she was the one that was causing the problems and being disruptive to the natural order.

To be fair to Eric, did he ever formally adopt Holly? Being in Holly's life is conditioned on Nicole who is her sole parent and provider. Eric has no legal right to her so it may limit his interactions with her. Eric probably wants his own biological child and I see nothing wrong with that. The majority of the characters on the show do not interact with their children so we have no idea how Eric treats Holly.. Back in the day, the kids were written into the show seamlessly and played essential roles in their parents' stories like Carrie with Rojohn and Sean-Douglas with Bo it was always organic and never felt forced.. The children actors were always dynamite and added to the stories as well. Christie Clark who played Carrie as a child inspired the writers to write for her. She blew them all away with her talent..

Wasn't there a time when the show was testing Jennifer and Austin as a couple when they were talk show hosts? How ironic years later Abigail wanted Austin...

I remember the TV show friends used to make fun of him...lol The character Joey was auditioning as an actor and was using the who farted expression in his auditions...lol.

So true. The new story was working at the newspaper as a reporter with Jack and Diana and the sparks flew between Jack and Jennifer.. I could watch those scenes over and over and never get bored. The writing the dialogue the acting the push and pull between Jack/Jennifer. We will never get that type of sublime writing ever again.. The magical thing about Jack and Jennifer like is that they never needed an interloper to be interesting. Just put them in a room and just let the actors improvise as Jack and Jennifer..

I was always uncomfortable with the Jack/Bo friendship because of Kayla. There should have been some type of tension because Bo was fiercely protective of his sisters even though he was their baby brother. I remember Bo overheard two men talking about Kim calling her a whore because of her past as a prostitute and he beat the crap out of one of them. If I am not mistaken that is how he found out about Kim.

It's funny that you said that because the show was trying to get Deidre back in 1988 but the negotiations fell through because she was trying to have a baby at the time. Deidre had been pretty open about her fertility issues for years and how that affected her past relationships in real life. Jennifer was supposed to get back together with Frankie. While Jack and Diana were supposed to be the couple in case Marlena came back for Roman so the show started to build on the chemistry between Jack and Diana but the writers producers the soap press and the fans noticed the chemistry between Jack and Jennifer and the rest is history.

Jack just connected real well with women. His friendships with men were just as good but he just came alive with women and it was not always a sexual vibe.. So I could see why some viewers not privy to his past truly believed that Jack was gay during the Greta storyline.

Jack/Isabella was always awesome and she got Jack . Isabella was not scared of Jack's darkness and Jack breaking her out of that mental home was hilarious. I am a Jack fan that despised Billie and I am so happy that he never touched her.. It was awful watching Bo and Steve be with her. I don't know if I could have taken Jack being with her. I thought that Jack/Marlena had an interesting vibe as well. She was so good with him when she was helping him with his PTSD. Those scenes were just wonderful to behold. Marlena is always at her best when she is in doctor mode displaying her empathy understanding patience and compassion, I also loved Jack and Hope's burgeoning friendship when they were both leaning on each other for support in Aremid watching the loves of their lives being with others: Jennifer with Peter and Bo with that Billie..

Kanye is an awful human being and he is showing us who he has always been. I was stunned by what he said on infowars. I am so tired of Kanye and his vileness. What is his endgame? what does he intend to accomplish with spewing so much hate? Kanye hates himself and he wants the world to hate him as well..

Exactly Jada's pregnancy is nobody's business. I hope that Jada realizes that having Eric's baby means Nicole will be in her business because she feels that she has a right to do so. Eric should write Nicole off for good because she is just vile.

So Sunny is not allowed to not be interested in a movie. Sunny really triggers people on here..

A picture is worth a thousand words. Sunny was talking about a picture of a Black slave with terrible scars on his back from being beaten during the time that slavery was legal in the united states and it did change the false narrative that slaves were being treated humanely by their southern owners and that northerners were lying about the horrors of slavery. Sunny was right in that it did galvanize the abolitionist movement in the North. Just like there are holocaust deniers in our time there were slavery deniers back then. So nothing is new under the sun.. Roots is completely different because it was a movie about slavery with actors depicting slaves whereas that picture was a real human being who was a slave.. I wish that people would leave Jada alone because Will made the decision to act a fool.

I would love Kim to be there because she would be the person to remind the viewers about Victor's past as a villain. I get the impression that some fans just think that Victor was just a grouchy old man who was just a harmless teddy bear. Kim was a total bitch to Victor when she came back for her dad's funeral and he was trying to be nice but Kim would have none of it telling him to get lost.. Caroline as always came to his defense..

I hated it because it was stupid because the show did not explore his love life with other women..

Nothing about Mike and Nancy makes any sense given their history. How did their mutual loathing turn into a romance? Ron is just trolling us at this point with his atrocious writing..

I don't think that Anjelica ever gave up her rights to Alexander. She sent him to go live with Justin and Adrienne because she was a wanted felon and she loved Alex enough to realize that she was not capable of giving him the stability that he deserved and needed. Anjelica went psycho for a while in trying to kill Adrienne and it never rang true to me.. So giving up her miracle baby to her mortal enemy Adrienne redeemed her in my eyes..

I am one of the few people who likes Paulina on here and she needs to mind her own business.. I don't get Nicole at all. Has she ever expressed a desire to give Eric a child. If she truly loved him then she would be over the moon that he will have his own child. Given that she knows the pain of a parent's worst nightmare that Eric experienced when he lost his daughters. Real Mackenzie that he never got to love who was stillborn and Faux Mackenzie who was really Rachel. She is still selfish af..

Same here and I hope that she has a girl. Eric will be a great dad in my opinion..

Alex should have come back when Will cheated on Sonny. Alex's return would have brought back Anjelica who would have been focus on winning her son's love when it comes to Adrienne and not Justin. I always wanted to see Victor interact with his other great-nephews, he was willing to marry Anjelica in order to raise Alex as a Kiriakis.. Victor jr. was named after him and it would have been a hoot to see Victor interact with his namesake..

Same here.. I only liked Sami when she was with Lucas.. The show should have brought back Justin and Adrienne's other sons years ago write stories for them and how they relate to Victor..
